Shoes were not as soft as I had anticipated, but overall, I am satisfied with them.

Hi don't take my arch support evaluation too seriously - I usually don't really notice... I'm usually pleased when something fits! :) As for my experience with these shoes: I have a 9.5 EEE foot, so when I order a 10 EE, it usually works. This is what I should have done with these shoes, which I ordered in the black. I had the 9.5 EE, but they were too snug at the front and had an uncomfortable bump in the middle of the underfoot. They looked ok, but not as expensive as they were.

This is a nice shoe. Well constructed. I am returning them only because they felt a little tight in the toe, but I have wide feet so I wouldn't let this influence your decision.

I like the appearance of this shoe a lot. And it looks good on my foot. However, it is somewhat too snug on the front half of the shoe, especially the narrow area that is like a binding that goes around the whole shoe. I could use a quarter of an inch more width in that area to make the shoe more comfortable. However, I am keeping it. It seems to be okay for something that I won't wear for an entire day, or for a long walk. It will be perfect with black slacks when I am going out for dinner.

This is the perfect navy quilted flat. A bit plain, but a classic, comfortable and stylish. I wear a 9 regular or 9.5 narrow and the 9 regular fits well. Heel stays on when I walk. Keeping these!

At first these shoes were very uncomfortable, leaving me with blisters on both feet. Now they are wearable, but definitely not cozy. I'm not sure if buying a size up would have helped...Cute, but not the most comfortable.

Super cute, can go both dressy and casual. Shoe runs short for me so I'm exchanging for a half size larger.

In search of a comfortable yet stylish flat, I tried out the Vaneli Serene. I have bunions on both feet and need a wide width shoe, but wanted something for the summer that looked good with crop/ankle pants and narrow-leg jeans. I find the Serene to be fairly comfortable, even for my problem feet. The elastic along the body minimizes gapping when I walk, something that usually occurs for me in flats. There was a couple of day break-in period during which they got more comfortable. The quilted leather and cap toe are classic and look great. I've purchased the pudding/black, navy/navy, and black/black so far. Interestingly, the pudding/black has slightly different outsoles and heels than the other two variations. The pudding/black is more slip-resistant and it's as if the heels are made of rubber instead of harder plastic. As another reviewer noted, when I wear the navy the heels will occasionally slip while walking on a hard surface. For that reason, I'm holding off on wearing the black/black while I look for a suitable alternative. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchases as I honestly never thought I would find a pair of flats that had comfort and looks.

These shoes are comfortable (I have wide feet in the front but narrow heels) but I slip in them too frequently. Something about the soles.

This is a great shoe. Very comfortable and yet stylish. As others have said, they can be slippery so be careful when you walk. Would get them in another color.

I took the advise of others and ordered a 1/2 size up. It fit except the right heel felt too loose. (I do have narrow heels.)

These are great flats. I'm a Realtor and I bought them to run around showing houses all day. This sometimes involves tramping over yards and unimproved lots. These flats are the only ones I could find that offer any kind of arch support without looking orthopedic. They do come up over my toes higher than I would like but overall these are great flats.

Loved the fit from the first time I wore it. It will be my go-to shoe from now on. Be cause I am retired, I need to throw on a pair of shoes that go with everything when I walk out the door. These are the ones.

These are very cute shoes but I found them to be a full half size (at least) smaller. I am almost always an 8½ and I had to return them for a 9. I do not have the 9s yet but I really hope they fit. I love Zappos' return policy as it makes shopping here a breeze!

Very cute, stylish and elegant shoes, according to the reviews I ordered half size bigger and it was perfect. When I tried it on at first, I thought I was going to have comfort problems, because they felt too tight and my feet hurt a bit, but then I went shopping and somehow they stretched! now fit like a glove!!! very happy with my purchase... also the color is beautiful, a dark shade of navy, which is not easy to find. Perfect for skinny jeans or skirts!!! Love them :D

Very pretty shoe, comfortable, a bit small, but not a good shoe for street walking. I've slipped continuously. I love them for casual wear, but if you walk a lot, wear something else.

Cute comfy shoe! This shoe must run a little narrow because I ordered M width and I usually have to order narrow shoes.

This a very stylish shoe on. Unfortunately it is sized a size larger than ordered. Not crazy the front is cut lower than normal. Not liking the quilted leather. Sending them back.

Comfortable, great fit as always from Vaneli. I find them to be super cute and versatile (have the cream and black ones). The only caveat is that they are a bit slippery on the soles even after wearing them quite a bit. I actually have fallen twice on wet pavement wearing these! I would still recommend them, though -- I am a real klutz.

Shoes are very attractive. I have a long narrow foot, so pleased that this shoe was available. I would have liked a little arch support.

Beautiful classic shoe for some one who needs a navy blue flat that will work with everything. The heel does clack but that's a simple fix. Get your local cobbler to add a rubber sole to the heel if it is too bothersome. I ordered a 9 1/2 after reading the review that some found the shoe a little smaller than actual size but it turns out the shoe runs true to size and I am returning mine now for my actual size 9. I wish that the sole were more like the Geox ballerina's because I originally was looking for a navy blue ballerina but couldn't find one so settled for this flat which is close.

They fit great - after I broke them in. I ordered my regular size 6.5 and had no problem. I do have two issues with the shoe: One is that the bottom is not rubber, so I've slipped a few times while crossing the street here in NYC. I have to be careful where I step to not lose the grip which is a pain because we are so rushed here. The other issue is that when I look at them on (now after a year) they make my feet look like they are twisting out. From the top it looks like I'm falling out at either side of the shoe, it may be that my feet are messed up and make them look like this. But I wish that they were more structured so that this wouldn't happen, because it doesn't happen with my other flats. Overall, they are a great shoe, I wear them to work all the time and just walk slow in them while outside.

Felt good until I stood up then felt like my big toe was going to bust out - it hurt. I wear a normal medium width but my toes felt on top of each other. They looked great though- too bad the fit was not great.

Runs very narrow for a wide shoe. Had to return.
