Amazingly comfortable boots!!!! I absolutely love these boots. I wore them right out the box to my son's soccer game and there after everywhere else. Its been a week since I have got these boots and I am so happy that finally I found a pair that is not only comfortable but stylish as well. LOVE IT!!!

I bought these for a winter trip to Chicago (I live in California) and I needed some more casual black boots that had a rubber sole. When I first tried them on they were a little stiff, especially in the ankle. But after just one wear, they were great. I walked long and far in the airport and on the city streets and they were so comfortable. I'm wearing them all the time back at home now. Thinking about getting them in brown too. I have what I consider a larger than average calf and they fit great over socks + jeans.

I was so excited to get these boots but when they came unfortunately they didn't live up to my expectations. I've worn Keen shoes for years and have found that they are among the most comfortable shoes I own. These boots didn't seem like Keens at all. They were too narrow and tight. I'm average size and I could barely zip the boot. It would be impossible for me to wear jeans or leggings tucked into the boots. This was a total fail for me.

Was really excited when this boot arrived, I love Keen shoes. However, it was a bit small and more narrow than any other Keen I've purchased. Sending it back for a size larger and hoping for the best. I have wide feet (but not calves) and hope that this will work out because the boot is just what I was looking for.

After years of trying to find black boots I like, I finally found them! Should have know they would be from Keen, my favorite brand of shoes. Most of my keens are 9.5, so that is what I ordered, but they were not comfortable at all. I was bummed because I really wanted them to work. Took a chance on some size 10s, and they fit great! They are a bit narrower than all the other Keens I have worn. So, so happy to finally have black boots!

These aren't my favorite boots yet, but they are growing on me. The real surprise is the color, if you order "forest night". Can't tell from the picture but they are actually a very deep, gray/green but look faded black in low light levels. Was very surprised to see the color in daylight. But I like it because it's unusual. The leather is a little stiff but it is softening up nicely. Not crazy about the color of the lining which is quite light and shows a little at the top of the boot. The description says it is leather, but it looks and feels synthetic to me. The foot bed is comfy and moderately padded. I ordered my usual size and they are okay with a mid weight sock, but wouldn't take a heavy one comfortably. I like the casual style and am looking forward to finishing out the winter wearing them frequently.

I love these boots, I say it every time I wear them. Very comfortable and practical and I can tuck jeans or slacks inside easily.

This boot was what I was hoping for but the normal Keen 9.5 was too narrow and small. So I am sending back for a 10 to see if it works. Calf is slightly large for under jeans and a little large for my normal sized calf.

These boots are very comfortable! I finally found a pair of boots that is not too large on my calves. My only complaint is that a few people have told me that they look like rain boots. They are great casual boots that you won't mind wearing all day.

If you do a lot of walking these boots are for you. I live in NYC and these boots transition well from casual to urban-dressed-up. I have thin calves, and these are quite snug. Otherwise these were well worth the money.

Love the boot. They are my casual/skinny jean boot. I ordered the 7.5 and they fit well length wise. A tiny bit tight width wise. The good news though, they are leather and quickly conform to my foot. I can walk around in them in hours with no discomfort.

This is the second pair of these that I have ordered. Unfortunately, I have had to send both pairs back. The foot is just to narrow and going up a half size didn't change that. They are cute and I love the color. Too bad.

Love the boots. However, after less than two years they have a broken zipper and cracks in the soles. First time this has ever happened with a pair of Keens. So disappointing!

I have crazy feet. Bunions mean I need a wider toe box and good support, but narrow heels mean I can't do too wide or shoes end up flopping around on me. I also have skinny calves, so boots are particularly hard b/c usually when I find something comfortable enough through the toes, I'm swimming in the calf region. But these Keen boots really do the trick. They are wide enough through the toe box (though I wouldn't categorize the shoe as "wide" per se, just wide enough), and the buckles at calf allow me to cinch in CONSIDERABLY for a nice fit, unlike other "adjustable" boots that only tuck in a fraction of an inch in the calf area. I haven't taken them off for two days--they are extremely comfortable! I love the way they look, too. Stylish in a no-nonsense way, and despite the lovely thick leather, they are VERY utilitarian in cold wet situations. I wear an 8 in sandals, sometimes 8.5, and ordered the 9 for this boot, which fits great. For me, they are a perfect every day kick around boot. Thanks Keen! (and Zappos)!

I have very difficult feet. No flat boot or shoe seems to fit right except gym shoes. I have finally found a pair that work for me! These Keen boots fit like a dream and have a soft, cushiony sole just like a pair of gym shoes. I can walk for hours in these. I love the fantastic service zappos provides, and I highly recommend these boots for those seeking a comfortable yet nice looking boot.

First off, the footbed is absolutely fantastic. They feel like you could walk a long way in them. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to test that out, because the leather is really stiff (I can't tell if it seems like really expensive or really cheap leather) so it cuts into one of my ankles and ultimately they're too uncomfortable for long distances. It's a shame. I've been looking for boots I can wear to and from work, which is a 5-mile speed-walking round trip. These aren't those boots. But again, they're the best footbed I've found in a boot so far. Still, they're not exactly attractive either.

I love Keen! I have a wide foot and they have a wide toe box. These were a bit more narrow then any Keen I have worn but have stretched into the most comfy boots ever. I think I have to get another pair as I wear these every day and perhaps I need another color. Noticed someone mentioned they did not like the sole and thought they would be slippery. Not an issue for me yet and like I said I have been wearing them every day for well over a month in rain and even a bit of snow this week.

This is my first pair of Keens, and I'm so happy with the purchase. I was afraid that they would be bulkly-looking on my size 10 foot, when they actually have quite the opposite affect. I don't regret the purchase and would buy them again and again.

Sadly, these terrific-looking boots will have to be returned because the shaft doesn't fit my wider calf. I have a wide calf at 16" and ordered these boots because so many reviews mentioned that the calf ran really large (even though these aren't a wide calf style), so I figured they were a good bet to fit. Also, the item info lists that the 15" calf circumference is based on measurements for a size 6, so I expected the calf size to go up roughly at least an inch with my size 8. I am really disappointed because these boots are fantastic looking, with high quality leather and insulation. I only wish they fit!

I've been looking for leather knee-high flat boots that can withstand the elements and that I can wear as an alternative to my dressier boots on rainy mucky days. (Living in NC I don't need winter boots!) These Keen boots fit the bill. The ankle was a little stiff but after a few hours of wearing it's starting to give. Otherwise these boots need no break-in. Love that I can dress them up or down, fall through spring. I wear a 7 1/2, normal width and calf; 7 1/2 fits with thicker knee socks, fits well through calf. No problem with traction so far, either. Love them!

This is the best boot I have ever owned. I have tried many pairs of "cute" boots with heels, details, style etc. and my feet are always freezing. However, big, clunky snow boots are not always the desired style. These boots are the perfect marriage of style, warmth and comfort. I can wear these boots all day! The fit is true to size, color is grand too. Highly recommend these boots.

These boots are comfortable and toasty warm. I love them for all those long cold dog walks on city sidewalks in the middle of winter. We have lots of slush, ice and snow and these boots hold up well in the damp wintery conditions.

I love these boots! Comfortable from the very beginning, good for walking, stylish with both skirts and pants, reasonably warm and waterproof. Great all-around!

Finally found a boot that works! I have bunions and "athletic" calves, so finding the right boot has been difficult. I've wanted a pair I could wear with skinny jeans and this is it. They were comfortable right out of the box. They were a little tough to zip the first time, but after they loosened up, they zip right up. So happy with these boots!
