I searched a long time before settling on these. They are stylish and comfortable. I appreciate the buckle to make the calf a little tighter. My only complaint is that the cinnamon color boots scuff easily.

My lady, Kristin, just loves these boots. This is her second pair. She refuses to go into the winter season without them. That, plus your service makes the holiday season very easy.

I just got these boots and love them. They are stylish and comfortable. I love that they can be adjusted because I have skinny calves and it is hard to find boots that fit. They do run a tad big. I normally wear a 9 and they fit, as did the 8 1/2. In the long run I went with the 9 since socks are a little thicker in the winter. I also have several friends with the same boots who have been very happy with them also in various colors.

I've been a fan of Keen for over 5 years and these boots do not disappoint. They are a little more roomy than other styles in the same size but that means thicker socks for the winter. Very Comfortable!

I love everything about them, the color, comfort, sizing, details. You can dress them up a little, or go more casual. I've gone hiking for hours in the woods in them and wear them to work. I wasn't sure the treads would be sufficient in all sorts of terrain but I've had no problems with slipping.

I bought these in Forest Green, just for something different. When I tried them the green started to look like a drab, sort of army green, similar to a rubber boot. I have a very narrow heel which kept sliding up and down. I wore a thin sock and just barely got the zipper up. I returned them, still in search of the perfect boot.

I adore these boots. They keep me warm and dry from toe to calf in the cold and crazy autumn winds. I can wear them all day long without my feet aching, which is saying a lot. Two years ago I had collapsing arches after wearing cheap, no support shoes, so the fact that I can walk around in these boots all day long without pain will make me a loyal Keen customer. I've also received quite a few compliments on how they look. I like that the sole isn't as chunky as on other styles. I have not had any issues with bad traction with these boots.

A very comfortable boot! I've worn them a few times so far and no blisters. That's a good thing! I would say they're on the casual side, but you can walk in them for long period of time if you had to. I love the color and find they go with a lot of other colors in my wardrobe. I got the 8.5, which is perfect because that's what I am. I have thick calves and they're not tight. Bonus!

These boots were exactly what I wanted. I love them. I have a high arch so I need to get an insert. Otherwise I was very happy with the width. I have wide feet also. The beautiful leather stretches a little which is good.

I love these boots! I was worried that Keens tend to run small, but I ordered my normal size (9) and they fit just fine. I have 14 inch calves, and medium width feet, with long toes. These boots are the most comfortable I have ever worn. I got the forest night color, not really sure what they would look like in person, and they are actually green, but in a very, very good way. The color goes with everything! I get tons of compliments and people stop and ask me where I got them. The only issues I have had with these boots are tiny ones... The right boot felt kind of snug width wise, but after wearing them one or two times, It didn't feel tight at all. The heels felt very loose when I first tried them on, and I thought maybe my foot would slip up and down in them and require a heel grip inside. It turned out fine and I didn't need one. The ankles are pretty loose, and the zipper gets kind of wavy and bendy looking, and the first couple of days it kind of hurt my ankle/inner leg where the zipper pressed in on it. (Now it is fine.) Also, this is a very tiny thing, and I get around it, but wanted to mention.. I have a habit of sitting with my legs crossed all the time, and where the buckles are located, it can hurt your bottom knee unless you re-adjust yourself. Oh, and I had no problems with the boots feeling slippery or like there wasn't enough traction, as another reviewer mentioned, and I live in the Pacific NW in constant rain and slippery, soggy leaves!

I waited to give my review for it to start snowing and it finally has. I walked on a few inches of ice this morning and the traction was what I would hope for in a snow boot. My feet were also comfortable (it was 11 degrees outside). They do not have the tread that my other Keen snow boots have but I did not fall, slip or have to walk overly carefully in them which says a lot considering the conditions. They are most definitely the most stylish all weather boots I own. They are a little less forgiving in the calf area then I had expected reading reviews but I also have a size 5 and can still zip them over jeans (this is normally a problem for me). They also stretch a bit. I found them to be true to size. These boots are awesome.

I am wearing this boot right now at 2:11 am; it has been on my feet since about 8 am yesterday and my feet still feel great. However, I had to buy a size larger than my true size to achieve this with a medium thickness wool sock. I usually wear 10 wide. I bought this same boot in a lower height in a ten, and it fit fine over stockings or tights, but the first time I tried to wear a sock, I couldn't even put my foot into it. So I ordered the 11 and it is perfect. I haven't had any trouble with slipping but I admit I haven't worn them in icy conditions yet. I have this boot in Forest Night and Oak and like both colors. I heard they were made in purple and since I have a purple coat, I searched the net and finally found a site that still has them. That's how much I like them. I have been wearing them to work with tights and above the knee skirts and have received compliments. Also, I have 17" calves, and at least in this large size, they zip up fine. After a few days of wear I was even able to zip them over jeans.

I have really hard feet to fit. It is difficult to find something comfortable for my long skinny feet, and I just had surgery on both feet. These boots are the best ever! They are so cushioned and the leather doesn't sag around my ankles. No break in period whatsoever. I have skinny calves and ankles, and these boots did gape a bit around the top. But, because the leather is stiff (not in an uncomfortable way, just in a tailored way), it doesn't look bad at all. They certainly aren't as hot as patent leather stiletto boots, but that's the price you pay for comfort. I am ordering them in another color now.

I just love these Keen Bern Baby Bern boots. I wear them almost everyday. They go well with jeans or dresses. They are very comfortable also. I feel like I can walk for miles in these boots without my feet killing me. And of course Zappos made sure that I received them as promised next business day. Zappos' customer service is impeccable!

I love these boots...so comfortable I could walk all day in them. Wear warm socks with them and they are great in cold weather too. If your looking for a boot to keep your feet comfy these are it.

I own about four different pair of Keen's. I normally wear a size smaller in them since they run big on average. These were no exception. They were a bit too loose and I could feel that my foot was going to swim around in it (not a good feeling) and they were bagging around the ankle. All together too little support. I loved the style though and am sad they didn't work out!

I was so sorry to send these back but they just really hurt my feet. They're very low, once you slip into them. I'm sure they work on "normal" feet but not if you're having "problem feet." The foot bed is just okay.

Cute, incredibly comfortable boot! You can dress these up or down, and they perform well in all conditions. I have never spent so much on a pair of boots before, but I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Have been shopping for boots for months and finally settled on the Keen Bern Baby Bern. In my first 2 days of wearing them 4 people commented on how cute they were and one gentleman asked me for all the details so he could order them for his wife for Christmas! I am feeling good about my purchase. They are very comfortable. I ended up going up a size as size 9 was a bit snug for me across the top. I have my own insoles to put in for my very high arches, so I need a bit of extra room. Not only are these good looking but they are functional as well, they kept me warm and were very stable on the ice and snow. The forest color is a deep mossy green - a great alternative to black or brown. Am loving these so far and find I'm picking out my outfits so I can wear these boots!

Boot is too tight and too wide at the calf for people with narrower calves!

I bought these boots because I wanted boots that were not only stylish but also comfortable. I cannot wear heeled boots due to an ankle injury. These are just what I was looking for. They are true to size. They will provide non-slip support in the winter. If anything, I wish they were fur lined but I will just wear thick socks! They are worth the money!

The best thing about these boots is that they keep your feet dry no matter what the weather. Also, you can wear them all day from day one.

These boots are absolutely sensational. I bought them because I currently have a broken toe and needed something with a flat hard sole that allows for walking with a broken toe. But I also wanted something that looked cool enough that I'd want to continue wearing them after my toe heals...and as it turns out I will be rockin' these for many years to come! I never thought I would feel "badass" in boots that weren't high heels, but these are amazing! I may get them in a second color. When I was deciding whether to keep these boots I was reading everyone's concern about how tight the calf part felt, well my concern was that when I first put them on, the foot part felt a bit tight, and even though I had traded them a size up (got the 6 1/2 originally, and then got the 7)...even the 7 was still feeling a bit tight on my feet so I was scared that I'd regret wearing them out of the house...well I'm glad I did because they stretched out right away and are a perfect fit now. So basically, if you love them but are concerned with the foot part feeling a bit tight, they do stretch! These boots rule!
