I've thought about buying these for the last 3 winters and after my cat destroyed my favorite brown boots last winter, I finally ordered them. And I love them! The leather is very nice, and I'm surprised at how nice and warm the leather lining is. They're extremely comfortable and I love the foot shape. I have pretty scrawny calves, so the shaft is a bit big on me -- especially if I'm wearing them with tights, though it's perfect for tucking jeans into. I've found with other pairs of boots that the buckles near the top can catch & tear the hems of skirts, or snag my tights when I cross my legs, but I'm not finding that to be the case at all with these -- the buckles behave themselves quite nicely.

Awesomely comfortable and autumnally cute. This boot is definitely made for those of us with Swiss mountain legs...i.e. sturdy and muscular. It's thrilling to find such a comfortable boot that fits my calves and wide feet. Thank you Keen for realizing that people come in different sizes too and thank you, Zappos, for making online shopping so easy!

I have had these boots for several weeks- they are fairly warm without being super heavy. They are easy and comfortable for walking in, though right now the leather around the ankle is a little stiff and can hurt a little. It seems to be softening, so I imagine it will get better over time. I have gotten several complements about them and love having a black boot that is in between dressy and casual.

I needed to break these in gradually; the first time I wore them I overdid it and ended up with some small blisters. Now they are very comfortable and look great with pants tucked in (which is easy!) and with skirts. I've gotten lots of compliments on them. Nice subtle purple color and very cute style.

Only worn these a couple of times but so far excellent boot. Really comfortable. Wore them all day the first time and no rubbing or blisters. Looks great with black capris or skirt for work. Haven't tried them with jeans yet, but I'm sure they'll be just as cute. Love the slim fit on the calves and height is perfect, just below my knee. I own other Keens and always order half size up. I usually wear 6.5 so ordered a 7 and they are a perfect fit.

They are very comfortable. I have received a lot of compliments on them.

These are gorgeous boots! I'm 5'4" and they are the perfect height. I have pretty wide calves and they fit snugly, but have stretched a bit. Another couple of wears and they'll fit over jeans. I have a normal width foot and they are a little tight on my right foot. They are breaking in quickly though. If you have a wide foot, these are not for you. I bought the purple and couldn't be happier with the color. Very dark and they go with everything. Super cute with knitted boot toppers!

Amazing boots! I have been searching for the perfect comfortable, flat, stylish boot and this is it. I've worn them non-stop for the past week and it feels like I've worn them for years, and the compliments do not stop. I love that they are actually "good" for my feet but also fashion-like at the same time. The styling reminds me of a Prada boot and very modern and sleek. I can't say enough great things about this boot, especially for the price.

Sturdy, well-made, great in inclement weather.

Love these boots. I actually purchased the purplie ones for myself and these black ones for my sister. We both love them. There was some break in time, but after a couple of wearings these boots basically molded to my feet. They look equally good with jeans and skirts and I've gotten quite a few compliments on them as well. If you're looking for something just a tad funky, but also super comfortable, these are the boots for you!

Love these boots! They are perfect for central Oregon winters! They are warm, comfortable, and look great with jeans tucked in or out! I wore them for 11.5 hours yesterday at work and my feet felt great at the end of the day. I got so many compliments on them, even from guys! I had purchased the Keen Shelby boot first and did not like them, they were too chunky, so I got these even though I was not sure if I liked the heel from the pictures, but they turned out to be perfect! And they are Keen so they will last many winters! (I always buy a half size up in Keen, I'm usually a 9 and I get 9.5).

Cute, comfy, true to size, waterproof... Love them! Also the calf size for tall boots is nice - I don't have huge calves, but tall boots can be a little snug on mine! These are plenty roomy and very comfortable. I walk to work in them with a smile on my face. :) LOVE that they come in purple, and it's not an over-the-top purple - just the right color for fall!

I read that these boots run small and I am often between sizes, so I ordered the 10. Too big. Had to get the 9.5. Very comfortable, lightweight.

I am very happy with my boots. I ordered them a half size big, and they fit perfectly foot and calf. I have a large calf, and they zipped (snug but comfortably) over leggings.

Cute boot. I think I have large calves because they are still a bit snug below the area that can expand. Overall, I like them quite a bit and am thinking of getting them in the brown as well.

Love these! I haven't worn them yet because its still flip flop weather here but I love the fit and they are so cute on I can't wait for it to get a little colder here!

Great boots - fit true to size. These do not have the big toe cap, so they are a little more dressy. Love the buckles. Bought these in all three colors.

Truly the comfortable walking boots for fall! Leather is soft and supple and the arch support is excellent for my feet. A must have!

These boots are great! Very comfy and I see no problem with the zippers as others have said. They do run a little small; I usually wear a 7 and ordered the 7.5 and they fit perfectly. The purple color is nice because it isn't a "loud" purple. It almost looks like a very dark brown. I've ordered a pair for my daughter since she likes mine so much! Zappos is fab!

These are great boots, but they are way too small for me. They feel like they have a comfortable footbed and plenty of space in the toebox. They are very cute with nice leather.

These are amazingly comfortable boots! I wore them to Burning Man this year and had no foot pain after walking miles every day. One important thing though, these boots stretch out considerably! My size 10 boots are now an entire size larger after 1 week of excessive walking. I would highly recommend downsizing.

I plan on wearing these boots on a trip to Europe. So far they feel pretty good on my ouchy feet. I agree with another reviewer who said the keen black sole isn't as obvious on this boot. The leather looks rich and the buckles are of good quality. I bought a 7.5 size and there is room around my calves for skinny jeans and plenty of room for leggings. Not sure if I will be able to put orthotics in them because I went with my usual size and not a half size up. Has the bigger toe box that I need. Thanks everyone for your reviews.

Love this boot! I'm 5'2 and this boot did not look clunky. Perfect balance between style and function! Usually wear a 6 1/2, got a 7 and its awesome.

Really comfortable! Took these as my only pair on a 5 day trip to Seattle and the were great! 10 miles of walking and didn't need to be broken in, my feet didn't get tired either.

A fabulous all-around boot for long and frequent wear, now in a very cool purple. I wore the black literally every day last school year. Elastic and buckle calf adjustment makes the boot look good on a thinner calf but clearly expands for wider legs. If you need a big toe box, this is your boot. It's the most comfortable boot toe-box out there. I use a 3/4 insert for arch/heel support. Genuinely water-tough -- I splashed through inches of melt/rainwater for months. Holds up to other kinds of roughness too, for example, if you are treating your shoes (heat, alcohol) when you come home to get rid of any 'hitch-hikers'. This boot holds up better than any other shoe to this treatment.
