Great boot, great fit. If you need traction, buy another Keen boot. I wear the Keen sandals all the time. I expect the sole to have little more traction. The fit and arch is good, but due to the sole traction I returned them.

I love the look and feel of these boots. It took about a week for me to fully break them in. Unfortunately, with breaking them in, the sole on them split in half within that first week. This came as a surprise because my 1st pair of Keens lasted me through 3 winters.

I didn't love this boot as much as I hoped, but liked it enough to keep. The color is fantastic -- a little funky, but not too purple to be crazy. It's also a high quality, well-made boot. But because of that, I also found them to be a little too heavy and stiff -- they feel a bit clunky. There is definitely nothing delicate about this boot. In terms of fit, I wear an 8.5, but opted for the 9. They fit okay in the length but were a little too wide for me and there is way more room in the ankle and shaft than I need.

I really loved the look of this boot online, but when I got them, they looked totally ridiculous on me. If you have slim calves, this boot is not for you. I could fit my fist in this boot beside my leg, and the elastic and buckles didn't help. When I tried to tighten them, the elastic folded over and looked bulky and silly. They are, however, extremely comfy, and I was bummed to part with them. They also look a lot less sleek and more like rain boots than I thought the pictures suggested.

This is a stylish shoe but be warned that this runs much much narrower than other Keens. The calf area is a medium width. For a boot, the tread on the boot seems very insubstantial. It is a much different style than other Keen shoes.

These boots are very comfortable, cute, and easy to zip up -- even if you have wider calves. The one downer -- they are not waterproof. The description says "water resistant" and I would agree would this -- when there's drizzle coming down, your feet will stay dry. The girl in the video uses the word "waterproof"...wrong! On a day where I'm stepping in puddles or walking through 2 feet of Chicago snow, these boots just don't hold up. They're cute, and I'm keeping them, but my feet get wet and cold too often.

I loved everything about these boots minus the traction, which was unfortunately a deal breaker for me. They looked great, felt great, provided wonderful arch support, are waterproof, warm, and durable. However there is no traction. That is not very smart for winter boots If they had traction I would have bought them in a heartbeat! That was so disappointing.

Great boot. Nice leather. Low quality though... first pair the soles fell off and zipper got a kink within three months of light wear. Second pair's zipper entirely broke off during first month of wear.

These are so darn cute and comfortable. I am sad to say that the fuzzy inside rubs off in a matter of three weeks and turns into a nylon sort of material and then tears through. I had to send them back after wearing them one season and they fell apart. I just got some new ones back thinking they would hold up but, no, three weeks of wear and inside all around the keel is worn down to that nylonish material already. I am sending them back a second time.

I was confused by other reviews that stated that the soles on their boots had cracked until I received the boots myself. I expected the Keen sole that is on all my other Keen shoes--a soft rubber sole. But on these boots the sole was a hard, shiny plastic that had no flexibility and ZERO traction/anti-slip. I was very disappointed and am shocked that these are made by Keen. Not even close to the quality I had come to expect from Keen. I ended up keeping the Merrells that I had ordered as the "back-up" pair.

Far too big in the calf and ankle area and I've large calves! These boots are not attractive in person at all.

These are cute but they were too roomy if you have skinny calves and almost looked like rain boots. I\'m returning for something that has a little tighter fit. Very comfortable though for someone with high arches. I wish they looked a little better.

Love them. I have smaller calves so there is a lot of space at the top, but if I tuck in my pants there\'s no problem. I commute by bike and these have been great. Then keep the wind out, have no laces and are styling!

I had these boots about 4 months and they were the most comfortable boots I ever owned, but like some of the other reviewers the soles cracked right across the bottom of both boots. I would love another pair, but since they can't be replaced or fixed, I am sticking to my old brand with replaceable soles.

I have a wider calf, with skinny little ankles and could barely get these zipped up halfway. Has elastic around the top, but it doesn't stretch at ALL!! I'm VERY disappointed and these are going back.

I have wider calves (about 15.5 to 16) and wider feet, so I was worried about the fit. However, my past experience with Keens and the 15.5" shaft circumference gave me hope, not to mention Zappos' easy return process. I decided to just order them and I am so very glad I did. The leather shaft did stretch enough that I was actually able to wear the boots over tights and skinny jeans. The foot bed is substantial and does provide support, so I didn't experience heel pain as I sometimes would standing for long periods. However, I might add an additional arch support. The sole had solid traction and was stable on wood, tile, cement, and NYC sidewalks. Just FYI, I am usually a 6.5 W, so I ordered a 7 M, and it worked out fine. I wore them around the house a bit to stretch them out, and they now fit perfectly.

I waited to give my review for it to start snowing and it finally has. I walked on a few inches of ice this morning and the traction was what I would hope for in a snow boot. My feet were also comfortable (it was 11 degrees outside). They do not have the tread that my other Keen snow boots have but I did not fall, slip or have to walk overly carefully in them which says a lot considering the conditions. They are most definitely the most stylish all weather boots I own. They are a little less forgiving in the calf area then I had expected reading reviews but I also have a size 5 and can still zip them over jeans (this is normally a problem for me). They also stretch a bit. I found them to be true to size. These boots are awesome.

I never thought I'd spend this kind of money for boots. But I am really glad that I did. My feet are wide and it is hard to find shoes that are comfortable at the ball without being too long. These boots fit perfectly, are super comfortable, and held up in a blowing downpour in New York. I hate slogging around in the wet with non-waterproof shoes. The boot also kept my feet dry while walking around for about two hours in a drizzle. They look great and I got a lot of compliments.

These boots are absolutely awesome. I normally wear a 5½ size, but given the reviews, went with a size 6 and they fit perfectly! I bought them because I need to walk during my commute to work, and the soles are great support, and they keep me warm on a chilly day. The only con is that the calf part may be a little tight, but I was still able to zip them up through skinny jeans. Overall, these are extremely comfortable and cute!

Wish Zappos would have more boots for those with larger calves! These boots fit comfortably. However, I cannot tuck my jeans into them. Very good looking boots.

Comfortable and stylish, the trademark keen insole is a huge plus! I have really high arches so all of my shoes insole has to be replaced with my own but since the insole is easy to remove this didn't prove to be a problem. I am 5'3 and the boots hit me a few inches below the knee.

These boots are exceptionally comfortable. I have lots of foot problems (plantar fasciitis) and a bad back, so I can only wear shoes with good support. I usually only wear Danskos, but I can wear these all day. I have not found them to be slippery at all, and I even have worn them to walk my dogs on our dirt road in winter. I did have to send back the first pair because it was too small (I usually wear an 8). Size 8 1/2 fit perfectly on me, and Zappos made it really easy to return them.

Love these boots! They are stylish, warm and a wonderful addition to your shoe collection! Lots of compliments - I bought the purple and they go with everything! The best part? They went on sale 2 weeks after I purchased them, and the nice folks at Zappos gave me the discount - yeah!

These are great boots. They fit as described. They are a little stiff on the bottom. They are well made, look cute over or under jeans. I have received lots of compliments on them.
