I am very excited about these boots! They are super cushy in the sole, much more than other Keens I have had. I have a larger calf, and they still fit even over skinny jeans. I also would wear them with casual skirts or dresses. The buckles make them a bit more dressy. I am able to substitute them for 3 other old pairs! I had 2 pairs of rainboots that weren\'t great, and an old pair of leather ones. I can\'t wait to wear them! The shipping speed with Zappos cannot be beat!

I love these boots. I have received many compliments on them. Very comfortable to wear them all day. I did order a half size bigger than I normally do. Been happy with all the Keen's I own.

These boot felt true to size. They are my third pair of Keen boots and I love them because they are stylish and practical for a gal who seems to go between work and the outdoors several times a day. I love that these are higher because they really give that extra bit of warmth.

I just got these today. They fit okay--maybe a bit baggy in the ankle area. They are kind of stiff so that ankle could be irritating. I'm not sure if I'll keep them. I do, however, love the way Keen's are wearable from the first minute!

I finally found a pair of boot that are comfortable to wear all day and that will zip up over my large calves (16 inches around). If you have lg. calves these are the boots for you. I ordered a 1/2 size up as recommended and they are great! I got a lot of compliments on them.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever purchased! I love how they look as well. I have worn them with skirts and dresses and they look great with both! They were out of stock but as soon as they came in Zappos notified me and I received them the following day. They were definitely worth the wait!

They fit perfectly out of the box. I didn't have to break them in. I have normal size calves and the extra room was great with jeans. If you have larger calves, you can adjust the width. They are super cute with jeans and with a dress. I've gotten many compliments. I love these boots. I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered a half size bigger. You can never go wrong with Keens. Comfort and style are key.

I've been on a quest for a couple of years for boots that are cute and almost sexy, but also rugged and down-to-earth, that would look great with dresses and skirts as well as jeans, that would keep me warm and dry walking across campus in the winter. I was thrilled to find these and even more so when I tried them on -- perfect! And I got my usual size 7.5 and they fit perfectly.

A short girl's dream come true! Was looking for a sporty boot for Winter. Problem is I'm short so the shaft height of boots cannot be too tall lest they run into the back of my knee (blech). Plus I have "Minnie Mouse" calves (13") and need a boot that will not look sloppy up top. Problem solved. The buckles along the top of the calf makes these boots adjustable, so they work for me and for someone with a more athletic calf. Brilliant. The shorter shaft height is perfect for giving us petite ladies a proportional fit. Plus they are lightweight, supportive, and sleek. It is going to be a good Winter.

This is the world's best boot! I bought one pair and then bought a second because I want to have a back-up pair in case my first gets worn out.

I bought these last winter and they were amazing. They are really warm and were waterproof in the feet of snow we had. I ended up using them as my snow boots as well as boots I wore with with skirts and pants. They were really comfortable and worth every penny. I only wish Keen would get their sizing standardized. I have several pairs of Keens all in different sizes depending on the shoe.

Cute, everyday winter boots! They are sturdy and comfortable and great for commuting/walking to work and home during Minnesota winters. They also go well with different type of pants and can be dressed up to business casual. I just wish that they were available in my size in purple.

Chic and comfortable: yay. Some points to note: 1) They are tight across the arch (and I have skinny feet) so that my favorite orthotics don't fit inside. My second-favorite ones do, though, so good enough. Despite being kind of tight cross-wise, they also slip a bit (a manageable bit) in the heel. 2) The soles are super slick: be careful walking down carpeted stairs! and 3) Tightening the buckles at the top of the shaft scrunches up the leather weirdly. But not overly weirdly. All in all, I'm very happy with these!

I got these because I liked the different look with the buckles and stitching in the front. I was hoping they could do double duty as work and cute boots, but they were too small. The sole was a little slippery, but I did not try them long enough to determine if that was a deal breaker or not. I am still on the fence about if I will order the 8 or just find another style.

Worth every penny. Fit perfectly. Not too heavy. Look good with pants tucked in or out. Decent traction. Only comment is the material picks up scuff marks easily.

Size runs small. Normally wear an 8 in Keens, but 8 in the boot was too small. Good room in the calf.

This boot was exactly what I was looking for. Stylish and casual with a flat heel. This boot would be great with either pants or skirts.\r\n\r\nHowever, the shaft was too snug.\r\n\r\nThey do run a bit small. I normally wear a 5, but sized up to a 5.5 after reading other reviews. Good call.

Very cute and comfortable. Unfortunately, the circumference of the shaft was too big for my calves. I have slim legs, so while these boots are comfortable and have great buckle details I had to return them.

I have only worn these boots twice as the fall is just beginning, but so far I am really loving them. I first ordered the Bern High Boot, with the puff of fur at the top. I had purchased them in a size 8 (I normally wear a 7-7 1/2) and they were way too tight around the calf, which I found strange since I have pretty normal sized calves. In any case, I had to return them because they just didn't fit correctly and decided upon exchanging to go with the Bern Baby Bern in an 8 1/2. The calf area is a much better fit but now there is a bunch of extra room around my ankle and, naturally, a bit more room for my foot to slide around in. The first time I wore them, even with socks, they gave me blisters on my ankle bones. I figure that boots just need some time for breaking in and the second time I wore them, though I walked less, I didn't have the same problem. Despite the somewhat ill-fit, they are lovely boots and just the look I was going for. They look wonderful with jeans tucked in, and now that I have a bit more room I can even wear non-skinny jeans tucked in. They might look a bit strange under jeans though, as they have a bit of bulk and would best be worn with wide-leg pants probably.

I live in Keens and have several styles that I wear all year-round. I have muscular 14.5" calves, and these zipped up fine but they'd be tight if I tucked in my jeans. I'm 5'3" and they reach about three inches under my knee. I usually wear a 7 in Keens, and these are no exception. Size 7 fits me perfectly with medium-thick socks. The footbed is narrower than most Keens, and I wish they had better arch support & the same tread as the Winthrop. But these will look better with a skirt and have slight urban flair. Very cute with rolled-up jeans. Good for a long walk, a day of shopping dinner out or a casual work setting. Once again, Keen comes through!

I love the way this boot looks, and so I tried three different sizes....but alas, each one was too uncomfortable for some reason or the other. They run smaller than usual. I have a pretty standard foot and I just couldn't get this great looking boot to work.
