You have to sort through all the positive reviews here to find the ones that mention needing a shoehorn to get these shoes on. I thought they were exaggerating. Apparently not. The word slip-on is a complete misnomer. I actually lose breath trying to ram my feet into them. Once the shoes are on, they are true to size and even a little wide around the toebox but the heel? Forget about it; it is much narrower than many people's forefoot can accommodate to slip past. Also, the stiff edges of these shoes rubbed against my outer ankle bone so cruelly that I bled, my skin in shreds, for a full week. Even Band-Aids were rubbed off. I have wanted these for many months only to have to send them back.

These can't possibly be Keens! I Love my Keen sandals so when I was looking for a good rain shoe I looked to Keen for wonderful comfort like their sandals but what I receive is the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on. They were so stiff I really don't know how on earth you are suppose to put them on. I kept looking for a zipper or a buckle to loosen them but nothing. I finally wedged my foot in and it was horrible. I had to take my sock off to get my foot in. Horrible. Keen you should be ashamed of these!

I purchased the Kaci as a replacement for the wonderful Clara, and Kaci does not live up to her sister shoe. The instep is very narrow and presses down uncomfortably on top of my foot. The points going for it: the tread is nice, the sole flexible and the toe box roomy. However, these are unwearable because of the instep squeeze so I will be returning them.

I just received these in my regular Keen size and can't even try them on. They are much too small. Not sure if I will reorder...I'm just so annoyed and am not sure how many times I would have order and send back to get ones that fit.

I absolutely love the look of the shoes. But could not even get half of my foot into the shoe as they have way too tight an opening for the size 11 shoe that I bought.

This shoe has a very shallow instep, I couldn't even get my foot in it to try it on. It's a very clunky shoe and I wouldn't recommend them for someone with a large foot, I'm size 10 and the shoe is so big it looks like a clown shoe in larger sizes.

i have recently discovered and fallen head over heels with Zappos, and the Keen brand. My hesitation at the moment is that the bottoms of this style is apparently painted....and the paint is peeling. SOOO eventually the entire sole - that may or may not include the toe cap - will be tan colored. The shoes are black and I just do not think that will work for my own personal taste. (spelled UGLY?) The overall shoe is SUPER comfy!!!!! wide enough for my fat feet! As with most Keens, they run small. My normal size is 7. Grab a full size bigger. Toebox has room for more toes. This is my second pair of Keens that are darn close to second quality....I hope that Zappos pays attention to this?
