I have had Keen slip ons before, but this is the hardest shoe to slip on. I have worn the shoe daily for over three weeks and it is still a struggle to get on. Other wise the stlye and comfort are great and I walked all over France in them for 11 days.

I work retail & needed to find a comfy shoe to wear in a very large store. I initially got a 7 because my feet swell from being on them all day & going up, down, & around the store. I've had to wear a half size up in every other shoe I've worn for work. 7 was too big. I exchanged for the 6 1/2 which still felt big, maybe because they run wide & I have narrow feet. I stuck with it & it took about a week to break in. still hurts my heel every time I have to squeeze my feet in them. Also, my feet get extremely hot in them by mid-day. I really wanted to love these shoes, but they're not horrible either.

Well, I really wanted this shoe to work out. It was so cute in the picture and even cuter in person. However, as per many other reviews - the opening is way too narrow! I have a pretty narrow foot, but could not get my foot into the shoe. If only it had a bit more give. Sadly, I had to return the shoe.

I loved these shoes. They fit my feet perfectly and were really the most comfortable ones I owned until I noticed one day that the sole was coming off. Shocking from such a well made company! I was so devastated. Especially because I was about six months pregnant and was entering into the where's my feet stage. I returned them to Zappos but they didn't have my size in a replacement so I had to settle for something else.

I completely agree with the Cinderella story! I have a long (size 10) narrow (not quite a B) foot and this shoe was even painful to try and slide in to. With my laced shoes, the eyelets almost always meet in the middle until midfoot. I don't like Danskos because they are so wide I feel like my foot is in a boat and I constantly worry about twisting an ankle because there is so much slide. I ordered a 9 1/2 (there were no size 10's available) hoping it might fit. My toe was a bit jammed but I might have kept it had it not been for the extremely tight midfoot of the shoe. It's a very cute shoe and I'm disappointed it didn't work for me. Keen, if you read these reviews please give us more cute slip ons!

This shoe was very difficult to get onto my foot. The front comes up high, and the elastic gore is very small and doesn't allow much flexibility. I was surprised, as I don't think my instep is particularly high. Once I had it on, it seemed pretty comfortable but getting there was an unreasonable struggle. I like Keens for the roomy toe box, and I thought this shoe was cute (in the Keen sort of way). Sadly, I had to send it back.

Always been a fan of keen until this year. Raved about keens to anyone who would listen, until fall of 2012 Ordered multiple pairs of keen shoes, all too small. my first pair of Kaci, fall 2011, was 10.5 and plenty big enough to wiggle my toes. toe wiggling and the incredible arch support is why keen used to be the very best shoes ever. This pair is an 11 and too small. why did keen shrink their shoes? Am i the only one who is having this problem?

This is the first set of Keens that did not work out for me. 6.5 felt quite tight at the forefoot, and 7 was comfortable up front but just too long. I am surprised because I have the Winston boot, which looks to be made on the same last. I tried the Kacis on several times over a week or so, thinking it really should be workable, but the fit just is not for me. My feet are wide-ish at the front and narrow at the heel, which usually works great with Keens, but this one does not seem to have the characteristic shape as much. Thanks to Zappos for making it easy to try.

Couldn't even get my foot in the hole. Way too tight around the ankle. Not quite as cute as I was hoping.

Comfortable but my (7.5-8, medium width) feet looked huge - like Donald Duck feet. In fact, the design of these shoes reminds me a lot of those waterproof "duck boots" from places like LL Bean. And not in a good way, since I wouldn't wear those for style, only function. I wanted a cute slip-on to replace a pair of Borns that finally died, but alas, this isn't it.

I loved the look of these shoes - nice style, great finish. I thought they'd be just the thing to slip on with pants or a skirt and would look good in winter weather, as well as be protective and secure. Unfortunately I had to return them because I couldnt even get them on! My foot wouldnt fit in the opening and I have an average to slender foot that fits in a B width. I dont think a larger size is the answer, its just the design of where the foot slips in. Disappointing.

I really liked the look and feel of the shoe...once I was able to get it on, which required a shoe horn and some effort and resulted in some bruising. The top opening is just too tight and doesn't give much flexibility. I love Keens but I'm going back to the lace or zip ups. I was really hoping for a cute, fully enclosed slip on but not with that kind of effort and tools required to get them on my feet.

As always, I am impressed with Zappos' delivery speed. I ordered these shoes on Wednesay afternoon and got them on Friday so no complaints there. Sadly, the shoes did not fit. There was plenty of room for my toes but my heels slip out every time I take a step. I'm sending these back.

I had the same experience as a previous reviewer. I own lots of Keen shoes and love them. I could barely squeeze my foot into the tight top opening. Once my foot was in the shoe, it was comfortable. There seemed to be enough toe room. However, it was too cumbersome to put the shoes on. Had to return these.

I wanted to love this shoe, but could barely get it on because the top part of the shoe is very long, leaving a small opening for my foot to get in. I don't have a high instep, but struggled alot to get it on. Once on, the size felt very good. My foot is a bit wide and al of my toes felt great! I sent it back because I didn't want to fight with my shoes every morning. I bought this shoe in a different color and had the same problem.

I wanted these for a trip to Scotland where I would be doing a lot of walking in the rain. Unfortunately, they will not be going with me. I could hardly get my foot into them. Once I did, I could just instantly feel all the places I would get blisters. They dug into the back of my heel and the top rubbed/squeezed. Maybe I just didn't get a big enough size, but once I got my foot in, the length didn't really seem to be a problem. Now maybe they would get broken in with wear, but I couldn't risk it.

Slip on? More like cram on! Once I finally, was able to get my foot in the shoe, the toe box is very roomy, but I do not think there's a chance I could get them on w my Smartwool socks-and I will need to wear socks this winter. I have 3 other pairs of Keens and this is the first time I've encountered this kind of difficulty trying to squeeze the top of my foot into any of their shoes-will try a few more times and if there's no give in the tiny piece of elastic, they're are going back to Zappos.

This shoe might be practical because of the waterproofing, but it is so homely that I can't keep it. Seems a lot bulkier in person, like a industrial rain boot styled to look like a clog. On the plus side, it worked okay with my high arch and narrow heel. The search for a good travel shoe continues. Thanks for the free return, Zappos!

This was a huge shoe. I tried it on and it felt very comfortable, but was a good size too big and very wide. I normally wear an 8, but a 7 would have fit better in terms of length. Still would have been too wide, though. The shoe slipped up and down at the heel and my heel slid from side to side in the shoe. It also made my feet look enormous.

I liked the look of this shoe, but the top of the shoe rides very high on the foot. For me it pressed on a nerve and caused discomfort. The shoes are not adjustable, so there is no way to loosen them. I returned these shoes.

After reading all the rave reviews and thinking the style could work for travel, I was very disappointed to not even be able to get my foot in the shoe. Maybe because I have a high arch, but even if I had gotten my foot in, don't know how I would have gotten it out!

This shoe would probably have been perfect. I loved it when I took it out of the box! But there is NO WAY my foot was going in there. So disappointed! It looked perfect for work - a little dressy with the promise of Keen comfort. Epic fail.

Overall, these shoes were a disaster. I was very excited when they arrived in the mail because they seemed like the perfect shoes for a vacation that would involve a lot of walking. During the trip, I developed achilles tendonitis, and was just barely able to get around. And what was I wearing? These shoes, of course.

Such a bummer! I wasn't able to get my foot into the Kaci, even with a shoe horn. I wanted to have something that was easy to slip on and off at the airport and this certainly wasn't it. If I had been able to get it on my foot, I think it would have been a good shoe to have some protection from the rain/snow and traction for the winter. The leather was high quality and there was good traction on the sole of the shoe. Keens are usually great for my wider feet, but this one was a disappointment.
