Overall, I\'m happy with this boot. I love the color and style. I am tall so appreciate the low heel.

I wear an American size 7 Medium with no foot problems, and these sturdy boots fit me fine. The leather was a little stiff, but I think it would soften with wearing. These boots are simply styled but lean more toward casual, I think. The slippery soles were a dealbreaker--like trying to walk on black ice. I don't know how quickly they could be scuffed up to provide more traction and a safer walk--at this price I didn't think it should be my problem to figure out. I returned them.

Great looking boot but my heels slipped too much in them. I tried them with thicker socks but the heels still slipped. I didn't try ordering a smaller pair as I felt they would not be comfortable in the toe area if they were any smaller. For this money, I wanted a perfect fit. Went with Clarks Mary Olive instead.

This is a beautiful boot! I have the Melissa button knee-high, and was hoping to recreate a similar look that worked under jeans. Unfortunately the colors offered for the Melissa button short boot are not that cute! The tan is really tan. The fawn is a little green. The dark brown is nice, but too dark. Where's light brown!? Had to send them all back. Boohoo.

This shoe is super cute, but the instep has a weird bump, not quite arch support, but a bump. Sending them back but I love the style.

As usual with most boots the top of boot is too big for ankle and flops back and forth while walking. There is no space between the top of the foot and the boot so you'd have to wear thick socks but it would be tight against your foot.

I have never spent this much on a pair of shoes. I figured, because I have ankle and pronation problems, it was time to start taking good care of my feet with good shoes. These boots looked nice when they arrived, but what a disappointment. They seemed fine at first so, I wore them to work the next day. These boots get marked up so quickly! By the end of the day I was limping...one shoe felt horrible against the bottom of my foot, and as a pair, they have no arch support whatsoever, and it is like walking on uneven ground. The leather, while easily marked, is nice, but for this kind of money, I think shoes should be supremely comfortable right out of the box. Thanks to Zappos, I was able to return. I just wish Zappos international shipping charges were more like some other sites (I can't fault the return policy, though).

First of all, it arrived in a clear plastic bag. Where is the box the boots came in? It’s very uncomfortable!! It’s way too big around my ankle. Sending it back.

Great boot!! Frye is always high quality and worth the $$. Only feedback is that the bottoms are slick.

These boots were a gift to my wife. She loves the style and so do I. Understated and classy. She liked the all leather construction. Perfect 1 inch heel. The size was a half size too small at 7 1/2. So we returned the size 7 1/2 and ordered a size 8. perfect! returns to Zappos, by the way, are super easy.

Prefect, I was thrilled to find them, I've worn them for years. The Store I used to purchase them from, No longer carries them.

I got the boots, the one I actually ordered! They are wonderful, an item I expect will take a few long walks to break in because of the newness of the leather but it’s a very high quality boot, as are all Frye products. They are a little Narrow but not unwearable By any means. They go well with a skinny jean or a dress. Thanks for making this right Zappos!

I love the boots. They were slick at first but after walking on the concrete they broke in fast! The leather is so soft! I would highly recommend these boots.

I was hesitant to order these because they are on the expensive side. After receiving them and trying them on I knew I was in love! They were comfortable right out of the box. And they are going to be extremely versatile and are great quality so I know they’ll hold up. I did order up a half size as I usually wear an 8 and I’m glad I did because the 8.5 fit perfectly.

I'll start with the bottom line; these size 9 boots have beautiful timeless style, are constructed of luxurious rich, brown leather with impeccable craftsmanship. They required no breaking in, though I did have to insert an arch support. They are on the narrow side which is good for me and I can wear them with my everyday mid-weight comfy socks. All that being said, to get to these boots that I absolutely love was a long and expensive saga. A year or so ago I bought these boots in the color black in my normal size. I was on the fence about whether they felt too big or not and wore them with inserts and thicker socks but they remained uncomfortable. It got to the point that enough time had passed that I could not return them so here they sit in my closet, a nearly-new pair of 9.5 Frye boots :( ... anyway, when these boots go on sale again I hope to get another pair in black. I will order the 9, though if you wear thin socks with boots (which I do not) I would recommend ordering a full size down from normal size.

Got the grey in this boot and have already worn it multiple times with multiple compliments. I’m always a 6 in frye boots and got the 6 in these and they fit true to size. The color is very pretty.
