This boot, while very beautiful and well made, barely fit my foot. I struggled to try on both- almost gave up after trying on the first one. If you have very narrow feet, small ankles, this boot will be a perfect fit. For those with larger feet ( I did order size 10), this boot may be a struggle for you to even try on.

I thought the short length would be ok, since I have large calfs. When I put them on, I could not get the picture of the toy story cowboy out of my head. Thank you zappos for once again making this return effortless

Seems like a good quality. Extremely narrow for an average medium width. I had to return them. No cushion in foot bed from what I could feel either. Seemed sturdy and durable but not sure how comfortable they would be if standing in them for long periods of time. Boot feels like it will stretch overtime but not enough to be comfortable for my average medium width foot.

These boots are exactly what I've been looking for for years - sorta cowboy but more feminine. But they won't fit my foot. They are typical high-quality Frye construction, and they run very narrow in the forefoot. Unless your foot tends to the narrow side of medium, don't even think about these boots.

I bought these boots in my normal size based on reviews I read. DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE. You need to order up at least half a size. Full disclosure, my foot tends toward the wider end of medium in the forefoot, but wide shoes are almost always too wide for me. I will only occasionally find a shoe that's too narrow, but these boots were too small overall. My toe hit the end. I've ordered up a half size, hoping that will do the trick, as I love the style of these boots and want to keep them.

Ordered a 6.5, my normal size, but these were so small that I couldn't even fit the left shoe on my foot. Beautiful style, looked like an extremely well-crafted boot, but useless if you can't get into them.

These shoes have a very rugged look. The heels had a lot of hammer marks. I liked them, but they were very narrow in the toes (I usually wear 7½ medium width and these pinched). The heel was also lower than I generally like.

These boots were just drab and clunky no style and looked like a man's paddock boot. I wanted something cool for travel and good short boots. These were very heavy. I returned them.

They are real cute but not comfortable at all. At this price I thought there would be a nice arch support and a bit more padding inside. Sorry to say they're going back.

This boot is incredibly long and quite narrow, especially in the toebox. After wearing them around for at least a week, and even in the rain (which usually makes my leather shoes stretch out a bit), they are still not broken in. Not as comfortable as my paddock boots for walking around. The leather sole is extremely slippery. Still waiting for the narrow toebox to ease up, which it is slowly doing. I have to wear at least calf-length socks or else the zipper rubs and irritates my bare skin. If I had to do it all over again, I don't think that I would buy them again. But, I can't return them at this point.

Felt like a good quality boot, but the fit was too big. I usually wear an 8.5 so ordered that size as reviews said the boot ran true to size. Felt at least a half size too large.

I really wanted to like these and usually, I am a perfect 8.5 shoe/boot size. These felt big and sloppy and the brown was so dark it almost felt black to me. Darn.

I was so excited to get these boots but when they arrived they were incredibly tight. Felt they were too narrow for my foot & at least 1/2 a size too small. Shame but had to return them.

I am very disappointed in the color of leather. It is as if they tried to add depth to leather which looks cheap. The only reason that I did not return them was that my husband gave them to me as anniversary gift. Plus the toe is pretty round, more than I noticed in pictures. Otherwise the fit and feel are good.

These boots have absolutely no traction, which I should have realized from the images provided. I didn't expect a Gore-tex winter boot or anything, but for this amount of money, I would like to not slip everywhere. These are going back.

Good-looking boot and great color but ill-fitting. I have other Frye boots and they fit so well, but these are too tight across the front and feel cramped in the heel.It's not that they are too small, they just don't fit like other Frye boots.

These boots were difficult to get on. The heel area is steep and narrow.

Wrong item delivered. I ordered this item in a size 5.5M, I got a size 8 blue suede bootie from a brand I have never heard of. This would actually be funny if I wasn't living overseas at an Armed Forces address that makes returns such a giant pain in the butt. Customer service was helpful with the exchange, though I'd rather not have Zappos credit after this exchange is complete. I'd prefer my credit card refunded for the charge of a shoe I didn't even purchase, but adding a layer of inconvenience is what it is. Guys whats going on over there? I've been a loyal Zappos buyer for a decade and never had this happen...
