Great shoes. They take some getting use to because of the way they tone your feet as you walk. Wide enough and definitely long enough. Would definitely recommend.

I like the style of this shoe, but I am not sure I like the fabric since it is light and made out of a cotten/polyester fabric and it already has a stain on it. That said it is a comfortable shoe.

Very comfortable shoes. This is one of those in-between shoes. Not a high impact running shoe nor a shoe like the new barefoot technology. Just right for low impact exercising at the gym.

I am returning these because they just didn't feel that great. Have ordered another brand.

I have really enjoyed these shoes. But they run just a smidge too small. But I kept them. They are so sturdy and attractive.
I'd also recommend:

Great looking sneakers! Not as supportive as they could be, but they look great on. Stylin'.

Very comfortable, even the first day I wore them. They really do seem to be helping me lose weight. I didn't even realize they were one of those shaping type shoes 'til they got here, then I figured I might as well give them a shot...lo and behold a month later that's all that's changed and my pants are starting to need a belt! There's one little thing that's bothering me, though. Some of the material around the toe is starting to fray already. I've only had them for about a month. Other than that, wonderful shoes! Buy them!

This shoe is cute and stylish. I got it because I wanted the toning features, but have a wide foot and this is the only company that makes shoes wide enough. They are comfortable (and I wear them for 12 hour nursing shifts), but I do not notice any difference between these and regular sneakers.

Comfortable and not awkward. I like the wide widths that New Balance offers. I use these sneakers strictly for taking walks at good pace.

Wide enough in forefoot. Could be more narrow in heel. Could use a little more arch support. Love the fact it is all mesh, and nothing restricts toe movement.

Although this shoe might do what it purports to do, I felt it fell short of good support on the sides. Maybe I need more support in that area in addition to the arch support. My other New Balance shoes do that.

I thought this shoe was really comfortable but I didn't feel like it had enough cushioning in the ball of the foot. The way that the shoe is tilted slightly down in the front puts more pressure there which is an issue for me because I have had a foot injury.

These were comfortable right out of the box, felt true to size, and were everything I expected! I work in a lab so I'm on my feet all day, and these have been perfect. I must caution other buyers, however, to heed the warning on the label that says not to run with these. I decided to sprint for the bus a few days ago and exacerbated a prior knee injury (ACL tear) because these shoes have very little traction. 4 stars on overall for lack of traction. Don't do anything stupid, and you'll love these!

I admit I got suckered in by the whole added fitness feature of this sneaker. So far, I can't really tell if they are working any better than my other sneakers. It feels the same as any other sneaker. Very comfortable for my wide foot. As usual for New Balance, I had to order a half size up since they run short. Are these mesh sneakers worth the price tag? Not so sure.

These shoes arrived so fast! Unfortunately I wasn't able to tell what the true colors were online on the coral/white pair. However, they felt incredibly and wonderfully comfortable when I tried them on! The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I especially loved how light they were. I just wish the colors were what they seemed.

I can't say for sure that my glutes are working 16% more (per marketing info), but I do like walking in them. The fabric part is very breezy so I won't wear them in rain or extreme cold. The toe part has a noticeably thinner sole, which I think causes the different stride. Heel and arch part padded but not extremely so. Don't get if you need lots and lots of heel cushioning. However, love the style!

Bought these as an alternative to replace another pair of kinetic shoes - the ones with the curved sole. I use them for my 12 hour nursing shifts where I spend a lot of time standing at the bedside and walking or running between the nursing station, patient rooms and the OR. They help with the pain in my arches & heels as well as lower back pain associated with standing. Also feel very little impact when walking/running. They are quiet when walking on linoleum unless wet, but have very little traction on a slick surface which is occasionally a problem I need to be aware of. Because the top is woven, they are not great for windy/rainy days outdoors, but otherwise are great.

Very comfortable sneaker and looks good too. Feet didn't feel tired after walking around a lot. Although listed as a "toning" sneaker, I haven't noticed any of those effects and that's after using these sneakers to walk all around NYC and Boston.

Wonderfully comfortable shoes. Like walking on air. I don't know about the toning aspects, but who cares when your feet are happy.

Bought this shoe because I wanted to get a toning sneaker and I have a wide foot. I found it to be very comfortable and light, they held up when on my longer walks. I am sad that they only had my size in the coral-white color, as I'm not too careful with shoes and they are already starting to look a bit dirty (I've had them about a week).

Nice looking, lightweight shoes but they felt too unstable for me to keep. Probably best for people with normal pronation.

These shoes fit well and were comfortable, at least as I tried briefly walking around in them in my house, except that they were not as cool as I had hoped; they made my feet hot. But what made me feel wary about them is that they are designed to make your body 'work' to maintain your natural balancing. There is something that does not ring true about this, because if your body has to work to maintain your natural balance, then it is not naturally balanced at all since a balanced body is efficient. And if these shoes, as they claim, increase calories burned then that for sure is a sign that your body cannot move with maximum efficiently. Perhaps it is true that the balance distribution in these shoes increases quad and hamstring and glut activity, but it seems to me that this artificial focus on certain muscle groups would lend itself to an artificial and inefficient pattern of gait. It reminds me of the time I purchased those rocker-bottom type of shoes that reviewers claimed helped their knee pain a lot. Well that might be true, but try running to catch a train wearing those rocker-bottom shoes! It happened to me! Thankfully the porter that day was kind-hearted and held the train for me. But I was running hard and getting nowhere, it was like a bad dream, when you are running in slow motion. My point is that any shoe that deviates from one's natural gait by claiming to strengthen certain muscles over others? That is more likely to lead to an habitually imbalanced, inefficient gait rather than a balanced, efficient one.

This is an okay shoe but nowhere near as comfortable as the Rock & Tone NB. This one doesn't have much cushioning in the front half to protect the ball of your foot. For a regular shoe they are fine, nice looking and comfortable. But they do not hold up for a 12 hour shift in a hospital setting.

Don't care for this sneaker as much as regular NB walking shoes. I don't believe the claims that they will tone your legs. This claim has recently been debunked in studies. The only reason I purchased them is because I could not find a comparable walking shoe replace my worn out NB 558.

Initially these sneakers fit fine; however, when I removed the insoles and slipped in my orthotics, the shoe became too small. My toes were scrunched and the shoes were too narrow. I think this happened because the heel cup is not deep enough to accommodate orthotics, despite the removable insole. Too bad because they are great looking sneakers! If you don't use an insert in your shoe, I believe that it would be true to size.
