I really liked this shoe, especially its light weight, comfort, and support. However, after less than six months of only light weekend use, the heel has worn where the plastic comes through and scrapes the back of my heel. Durability is certainly lacking.

I love New Balance shoes, but these have not lived up to my expectations. As far as toning I have noticed no difference or improvement. I got these shoes to wear at work. I am on my feet for 12 hours a day, and my feet have been hurting extra bad at the end of the day since I have been wearing them. I even bought some super feet inserts to see if that would help. Better but still not as comfy as my old New Balance.

Nice looking shoe, however, I don't really feel like it's working out my legs or butt as advertised. I use them a lot for my job and have yet to feel any real difference.

Great looking shoe! I could not tell by wearing them that they actually were toning as they were made for but were very comfortable. I would definitely purchase again.

I got these in early November and they are already completely worn out. I wore them on cardio equipment, at the gym only, and although I do workout between 4-6 days a week I do feel they should have lasted longer then three months. I usually really like New Balance, but just replaced these with the Reebok version - even though they are a little more expensive, I already know it's worth it. A friend has a pair that lasted twice as long before they started to disintegrate.

I ordered two different pairs of NB shoes, because I couldn't decide by looking at them on the computer. I am returning these because the bottoms are very thin with no support and they were made in China; the other pair was much sturdier and made in the USA!

Was very disappointed to receive these and find they're one of the fad "toning" shoes. Thankfully, they didn't feel any different than other shoes, but as is common with New Balance, the interior is a box with little support and no cushion. Very stiff shoe. Too bad because I liked the look of them!

Are you kidding me? I could not wear these shoes on a walk with confidence. I walk anywhere from one to three hours (round trip), so my feet would be shot after these shoes.

I actually tried these on at a New Balance store and thought they were cute. They were very comfortable at first, but for me with flat feet, the instability of the shoe which is supposed to make your leg muscles work harder, can cause a problem. After walking around the store for 10 minutes my feet were suddenly so sore I had to hobble out of the store (in my own shoes). If you don't have my flat feet problem you might be okay. If you get these, just be sure to walk around in them indoors for some time before deciding you'll keep them.

These shoes are super cute and comfy, but the soles separated from the insteps within a week of wearing them. I do a fair bit of walking on hills and various terrain, but this is ridiculous- no matter how much shoe goo and other glues I applied, the insides of the soles simply did not want to stick to the shoe fabric. Fairly disappointed, New Balance.

I was disappointed in the minimal cushioning in these shoes and found that I suffered pain in the ball of my foot and achilles tendon after wearing them. I can't recommend them even though the price has dropped since I bought them this spring.

Not a fan of this New Balance shoe. NB makes some really fabulous shoes, but this style is not a good choice. They look really cool, but fall short when it comes to support. The off balance foot bed did not help work my muscles out, it made my sciatic nerve pain flare up instead. I am a NB lover and I always wear their shoes, but I do not recommend this shoe to anyone. I will go back to old faithful NB 1210.

I wanted a lightweight black sneaker and figured the extra muscular boost these provided would only make them better. Right? Wrong. Though they feel like regular sneakers, the slight instability in these is enough to cause me knee pain, a problem I've never had before. They're cute, but they're going in the trash.

This shoe, as lovely as it is,I am sad to say, cannot be worn on wet pavement. The pink stripe on the sole wicks water up and splashes on the top, yielding wet socks and toes, within minutes.

These shoes are really cute but the comfort was so-so. I had a pair of old Spiras that I was replacing with these shoes. My feet hurt for a week in these shoes. Then I went and got Dr Scholl's insoles and it helped some. I stand on my feet 40 hours a week. I gave up and bought new Spiras and it was like night and day. I can't buy any other brand but Spiras now.

Look nice, but falling apart. I have had these for about three months. I work three 13 hour shifts a week in a hospital, so I need a good shoe. The padding on the back of the shoe, where your heel rubs, has come off resulting in massive blisters. The mesh on the top of the shoe has worn through, I can see my white socks through it. Ultimately very disappointed. I'm going back to Asics.

Not worth the money. They are a bit small to size and have no support. The fabric frays right away and makes them look old and worn after a month. Do not wear them when it is raining because they wick the water right up and soak the whole top of the shoe. My feet hurt after wearing these all day from lack of support. Try Reebok Easytone running shoe for best support and comfort.

They are probably good for walking, but I would caution against using them for activities that involve lateral motion. I used them in a circuit training class and sprained my ankle the 2nd time I wore them. I have never had ankle problems before!

I bought these for my Zumba classes. After wearing them for three classes, my feet and toes started to hurt pretty much after the first 30 minutes of a session. I thought maybe I can use them for walking instead of totally wasting the money. After two days of walking in them on my vacation, I developed severe backaches, which could not be alleviated with extra strength Tylenol. I actually considered checking in with a local doctor. It took me on the second night to realize that it was these shoes that caused the problem, because one hour after I took them off, my backache started to subside. My backache completely went away the next day when I switched to another pair of shoes. The point is these are poorly made sneakers with no cushion, no arch support, and could actually do a lot of harm to your health.

These shoes are very comfortable but if they even get alittle dirty they will not come clean, I have tried stain remover and washing them and they still will not come clean. I don't recommend buying them.

I love the fit and quality of New Balance shoes, and have been eager to try their version of the toning fitness shoe. Didn't do much more with this shoe other than lace it up, put it on, and walk across the floor - comfortable enough, could feel it doing a little tiny something, but just could not get over how butt-ugly it is. Really. And I'm not a fashion diva in the least. Don't care a lot about looks. But the pink plastic detail on the outsole looks like Lee Press-on Nails. Just had to return.
