I really like these shoes. They make my size 11 feet look smaller, which is definitely a plus. I have ordered 4 colors. The black and dark brown fit me perfectly because I need a more narrow width, which is why I indicated they felt too narrow for a medium width shoe. The grey also fit perfectly, but the color was odd. It was pretty, but it wasn’t what I would call grey. It had a slight lavender cast to it. I received the last available pair of the beige today, but I am sending them back because they are too loose. They are more of what a medium width should be. I wish that all colors in the same style would fit the same, but Frye shoes and boots are not consistent in their sizing. That doesn’t stop me from buying their brand, which I love. I also normally need to wear shoes with good arch support, but these are very comfortable.

This is a lovely versatile little shoe. Comfortable to wear all day right out of the box and true to size. Unfortunately, the first time I wore them my right shoe squeaked so badly I returned the shoes. I have reordered a second pair and so far no squeak.

This is my second Frye ballet shoe. This present shoe fits a bit more snugly than an earlier flat I ordered years ago. The first shoe has lasted well, but after 3 seasons, it is showing wear, especially the leather sole is worn to nubs. Other reviewers mentioned the sides of the slipper seem low, I agree. My second shoe seems a bit narrower, which is OK with me. I look forward to many years enjoyment. Both colors I've tried, red and now a grayish neutral are super nice and coordinate with many outfits. The earlier shoe was so large it slipped in the heel, but I wore it because it was so pretty. I'm looking forward to a slip-on that does not fall off my foot.

These shoes fit me perfectly. I wear a size 7 1/2 and I was surprised how comfortable they were as soon as I put them on. I have worn Frye boots before and they have taken a while to break in. I wanted shoes for dancing that would glide easily across the floor. These fit the bill perfectly and I really like the muted colors. I have a red pair and just purchased the green color. The only draw back is that they are slippery to wear out as casual shoes. I feel a little precarious walking in them....the downside of sliding easily across the dance floor.

Carson ballet is my favorite Frye shoe. Great brand and wonderful colors, I have quite a few colors and love them all. Very comfortable from the first day you put on, no breaking in. You can’t go wrong.

I have these shoes in various colors. They are perfect for work because they are super comfortable to walk around in all day and they look great with anything - suits, dresses, skirts, etc.

The Frye Regina Ballet in the same size fit me, but the Carson was small in comparison. Will have to order a half or even whole size larger. Beautiful color.

My absolute favorite flats. I own them in 3 colors, and have gotten rid of all of my other flats. I do think that the soles wear through rather quickly for the price of the shoe, but they look great and are comfortable, and I do wear them almost every day, so I will continue to buy them.

These shoes are great -- so well made and classic. They are of obvious quality when compared with other leather flats I've tried, and I now own them in two colors. They broke in after about 2 days of walking in them and now fit like a glove. They are a little slippery on the bottom initially, but that improves with time too.

Wanted to love these but sadly they just didn't fit. The leather was incredible stiff along my heel. Seemed as though these would require a significant break in period. Also, while the 8.5 were a bit too snug (and for this price I wasn't going to gamble on no stretch with wear) the 9's were too loose in the heel. Beautiful shoe and seemed to be the same high quality I've come to expect from Frye, but unfortunately this style just doesn't work for my feet.

I originally ordered my normal size and felt they were slightly to big. I have narrow feet. After ready the reviews, I ordered a half size down per others recommendation, bad idea. Way to short. Keeping my original size even though a little big. Very comfortable and after wearing them all day, they fit fine. May use a very thin insert if needed in the future.

Beautiful well made shoe - what I've come to expect and love about Frye! My only complaint is that these seem to run a bit small for my feet (I do have a wider toe box and a bunion that causes some sizing difficulty). However, my sister has this shoe and they do break in to be quite soft. I am returning for a 1/2 size larger in hopes they fit. Beautiful color, sturdy sole. Fingers crossed!

Simple, elegant, and classic flat. The structure of the shoe is solid, but the leather is supple and takes to the shape of your foot over time. Highly recommended!
