I have worn a pair of these for over 2 years. They're getting pretty worn so I order another pair, same size, receive the order and the shoe is too narrow. Since I know the size should fit I order another pair in the same size, receive it and it's too wide. Love the shoes but Frye's quality control needs work. I'm trying a third pair, which is the exact thing I had to get my first time around. Thankful for free shipping!

I love Frye Leather. Sadly, I have to return these shoes because my arch is too high and I need a bit of support.

I have a few pairs of Carson Ballet shoes that have been wearing them for the past few years. They are my go to shoes when I want to have a quick put together look. I just ordered the Sage Antique color, which will be great for fall. The color is a very rich sagey color, with the same comfort and quality. These shoes are the best for traveling (airport), running around , and light walking. They are comfortable, light, but chic and timeless. I wear size 9 and the size is always a guarantee to be true to size.

I ordered a half-size smaller (can't remember why...maybe my normal size was not available?) and overall the size felt fine, so perhaps they do run a bit large. In any case, I've always loved Frye's no-nonsense quality. These shoes are just that... a nice, simple, classic ballet flat. While the leather felt a TEENY bit stiff out of the box, I know that after a few wears the leather will surely soften up. I will start wearing these for short trips to the market or whatever, and slowly increase my wear of them as the leather softens...

These shoes are very comfortable and will mold and shape to your feet. They are good quality and craftsmanship. They are a bit pricey, but to me...worth the money. I use a leather lotion on them from time to time to buff out any scratches and moisten the leather. They are the perfect staple flat for me.

Although they are tight when new, after an appropriate break-in time, these ballet flats eventually feel like little foot gloves. The leather is high quality and durable. The colors (I have the dark gray and dark brown ones) are deep and rich. The shape and profile of these flats make my feet look dainty and elegant. The design is simple and yet classic such that they match any outfit.

Trying these on now. The length is perfect for my size 11 feet. I have narrow heels, and they are swimming - I'd have to add inserts. They do cut into my metatarsals a bit - perhaps when the leather softens this is not a problem. Charcoal color is beautiful, and they meet my "gotta be able to bend the shoe in half" standard.
