This is a classic, well constructed ballet flat. I got these to replace my old Carson ballet flats, which were black with decorative piping, and finally got worn out after many years. Glad to see this style is still around, and still well made. Thinking about ordering another pair in another color.

I purchased the golden silver vintage metallic color in a 6M, my standard size. I found the length to be a bit longer than a normal 6; but have added non slip heel pads to fix that problem. As with many flats, I feel there could be a bit more padding in the arch area. All in all, I am pleased with this flat. I love the versatility of this metallic color—-it will go with everything. My daughter thinks the look is “oh so chic-in a French way.” I have to agree. The shoe is comfortable and leather is soft. The color is wonderful, simple and pretty with a bit of shine. Styling is classic and will take me lots of places.

I love Frye. I have previously only bought their boots but finally decided to buy these flats. I absolutely love them. They felt a little tight at first but after wearing them around the house for a day they felt perfect. I usually get blisters wearing any kind of shoe without socks but these are fine. I bought the vintage grey (great neutral color) and plan on getting another pair in a different color. I always buy a 7.5 in Frye boots but I got these in a 7 and they are perfect.

When I got these in the mail I wasn’t wowed. But they are comfortable with very little break in time. Also no toe cleavage! I feel these will last me a long time and that was really what I was looking for. Classic, quality! Got them in black.

Very comfortable out of box but one shoe was a little loose. I probably could have resolved issue with an insert, Color was lovely and leather was high quality and soft, very comfy right out of box. However I had ordered different styles of shoes hoping that one pair would fit perfectly and the other pair won out. If I was in the market for two pairs I might have considered keeping these too. However chose to send them back.

These shoes are great! I have a bit of a wider foot, but generally ordering a half size up works for me, and the same was true for these shoes. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on, and remained that way for the eight hours I wore them the first night. I will warn that the soles are slippery, but I read that in other reviews so I was expecting it. I just scuffed them up a bit and they were fine. I will absolutely be ordering another pair! Totally worth the money in my opinion.

I am usually a 7.5M but sized down to a 7M in this shoe, based on previous reviews, with no regrets! They fit perfectly. The leather is substantial enough that they feel like they will hold their shape quite nicely. The leather sole on the bottom is a wee bit slippery, as leather soles are. Other than that, I've got no complaints.

These are, as usual, fabulous. My fourth pair. These are the antique black leather. My others are the golden tan, dark red and some pink suede. They are all 8.5m, my usual size. They're flats. So don't expect a lot if support but for what they are, they're very comfortable. One reviewer mentioned having some non slip soles put on, which I think is a really good idea. They'll last longer too. I love all things Frye and Zappos too. These are the cutest and best looking flat, and they're a little pricey, but beautiful leather and we'll made.

I agree that the shoe is initially slick but I think with some wear over concrete it will gain some friction! Overall love the the shoe. Wore it out of the box for 9 hours and no blisters! I didn’t think the shoe was wide but I think that is because I need a little wide at my toe box area!

I love, love, love Frye flats! The fit and comfort can’t be beat.

I've owned multiple pairs of Frye Carsons, love them.

I got these in black and they're great. The seem well made and have a premium feel to them. With more professional clothes they can have a fancier look than is conveyed in the product images. They fit comfortably, the only break in factor is the leather sole (the slippery-ness some people mention), this was resolved for me after one day of actual wear. The toe box is a good size, I have longer toes and there is no toe cleavage factor in these. Also note that Frye has a year warranty for these shoes.
