I love these shoes! They took a few days to break in, but the leather has formed to my feet and they are super comfortable. I'm buying them in multiple colors!

A very comfortable and attractive shoe. My thanks to those who submitted reviews noting that it runs a half size too long. I usually wear an 8.5 Medium, and the 8 Medium fit perfectly.

These are by far the most comfortable ballet flats I have worn. The curry color is perfect with black and dark blue jeans. The leather is soft and lovely. My only disappointment is that the leather on the lateral side of one shoe is narrower than the other, hence that foot looks a little wider. But, probably I am the only one who notices such silliness. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat.

I love these shoes. I have tried numerous ballet flats but they either look very unattractive on my feet or hit the wrong places and hurt. These were perfect out of the box. I like how they look on and they are comfortable.

They are the most comfortable ballet flat I have purchased. I hesitated to spend the money but I am truly glad I did! The reviews regarding sizing was so helpful.

Frye flats are the most comfortable! They are a perfect fit and as soft as slippers, yet give ample support for my high arches.

Love, love, love! Originally I bough the orange patent and mint patent, but the colors didn't look right against my skin. They were a bit too dull in color. Then, I bought the BLUE PATENT ones and the first day I wore them received two or three compliments. However, that isn't why I love them. They are comfortable right out of the box, as other Frye Carson flats. I have two other pairs and love them all. If you are after arch support, these aren't for you. If you are after good craftsmanship, these fit the bill. Some people say they are too slippery, yes, right out of the box they are. Once you wear them outside and scratch the bottom, they aren't slippery anymore. They are pricey, but I'd rather pay more for something that is well made and comfortable, than something that isn't, makes my feet stink and hurts all day long. Give them a try!

I now own five pairs of these -- one black, one brown, one a gorgeous ultramarine blue, one distressed brown with studs, and one in the grey Navajo blanket weave. Next up: red! As you can tell: I like them. No, they don't have much arch support; but like all Fryes, they're all leather and break in within two or three wearings, after which they conform perfectly to your feet. And they're well-made: I wear the black ones probably 2-3 days a week, and expect to get a year or two out of them at that rate. Also: I have a real problem with ballet flats that are cut stubby around the toe in a way that compresses my toes -- either the big toe, or the small one, end up blistered. But Frye got the toe box just right on these: plenty of room for everybody, while still looking grown-up and elegant. In short: this is the perfect ballet flat. Look no further.

These are so lovely, classic shape and interesting colors. I just bought a second pair. They ran a bit big for me, but not enough to get a size up. My feet are on the wide side, so they may not work for narrow feet. The leather is so supple that there was no rubbing or chafing for the many hours I wore them right away. I got many compliments.

This is a great pair of flats. Was a little worried with how much they cost, but they are so well made. I run around all day at work and these shoes are super comfortable. The leather is so soft so they did not cause any blisters. This is the first pair of Frye shoes I have owned. I ordered my normal size they and fit great.

I'm done with cheap shoes that hurt my feet! These shoes were a little pricey but from they second I put them on, they were so comfortable. I wore them barefoot all day without any blisters or sore spots. I love these shoes!

I have wide feet and ordered these because I love them, and took a chance that they might work. I'm here to say that if you do, too, don't bother ordering them. They are not going to fit wide feet, ever, and you are just going to have to love them and ship them back.

I can't say enough good things about this shoe. Worth every penny! I'm definitely going to get more. I purchased the silver multi metallic. I'm an 8 narrow, and these fit perfectly. I have never really been able to wear flats because they always bother the bone on the outside of my pinkie toe and it turns red and gets huge blisters. But not with these. The leather is so soft that it "forms" to my foot and they way that the shoe is cut by the toes is so comfortable. I love that they are 100% leather (inside, outside and sole). I wear these with almost everything, even when they don't match perfectly.

These are the best shoes ever! They immediately were comfortable on my feet; no breaking in! The color is luscious and I LOVE that they are ALL leather!!

These are great little flats. The quality of Frye, comfortable and because of the patent leather work for a dressy event when you want to be comfy and wear a cute dress.

I purchased the Frye Carson Ballet flats after returning another pair of Frye's whose heel let loose after one time wearing them. I contacted customer service & promptly returned and got a quick refund so no issue there but unfortunately they did not have my size in the original flats I ordered. I ordered this pair instead which I think I like even better than the original pair. These are literally the most comfortable ballet flats I have ever worn and I've had many different types. I think these fit perfectly and am very happy with the purchase. As other reviews have noted and is common with Frye's the bottoms are a bit slick especially when you first put them on but can be easily remedied with no slip pads stuck on the bottom or just stepping carefully especially on carpet.

Very high quality and beautiful leather flats. The toe shape is just perfect, unlike a lot of other flats. The leather is incredibly soft, no blisters. Mine are a little big in the heel, causing some flapping when I walk, but that's a problem I have with a lot of ballet flats; I'll probably buy some heel inserts to try and improve the fit.

These shoes are the perfect no brainer daily footwear of choice. They are comfortable, casual, nice looking. Given the price (and quality) I expect them to wear me out and not the other way around. Size 9 shoes fit my size 9 feet.

Love. Most importantly they are so comfy! Then add the fact that they are that timeless classic flat made of delicious soft leather. Wore them all over San Antonio on vacation and never knew I had shoes on. Buy them now!

Inaugural day in flats, with a pair of boots and socks in tow...just in case. Six miles of walking later, not even the threat of a blister. I swear by Frye boots, but tend to go cheaper for flats. Not anymore. I am so tired of spending the first month of spring covered in bandaids, hobbling around in new shoes. Keep in mind, these are very flat flats, so they aren't nearly as cushy as the Carson boots, but for what they are? I am sold. About to look at other Frye flat styles and pull the trigger again.

After reading all of the reviews for this flat, I was still skeptical that they would be as comfortable as people claimed. Boy, was I wrong! And gladly so. This has to be the most comfortable flat I have ever worn .. no breaking in, no rubbing, doesn't cut into my foot anywhere. I'm tempted to throw out every shoe I own and just stock my closet with these flats (and the Frye boots I already own). Amazingly, even though these flats feel like a pair of leather socks (for lack of a better description), these shoes are very sturdy and well constructed so they look like actual shoes - which is great for my dress up job. I'm a true size 9 and the 9 fits perfectly. A little snug perhaps, but I know that they will loosen up. Leather bottoms can be a bit slippery at first, but a few walks around the city sidewalks will take care of that. Arch support is better than with most flats, but I imagine if you have problem arches, you probably wouldn't want to wear flats in the first place. I am beyond thrilled with this purchase, and of course Zappos' customer service is without comparison.

I. Love. These. Shoes. I get so many compliments on these shoes and they are BY FAR my favorites. In fact, I've ordered two more pairs in different colors. My only complaint is that after three months of wear they have stretched out to the point where I cannot wear them without them slipping off as I walk. I'm reordering them in a half size smaller, hoping that this solves the problem. All in all, these are by far my favorite flats.

Wonderful shoes! So comfy and cute, with no break-in time. I love them so much I ordered them in black and I just ordered the Carson pumps. I usually wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8 after reading other reviews and the 8 was perfect.

As per the norm with Frye flats, didn't really take any time at all to break in (though I shouldn't have walked 2 miles in them the first day... but still, no major pain or blisters).
