Frye Carson Ballet was an excellent choice for me, light weight, fashionable, comfortable, goes with everything.

I love these and would buy one in every color if I could! A lot of other ballet flats that I have tried are too tight on my toes. These are not and are nice and comfy.

I was looking for a dark brown flat (not milk chocolate) these are perfect. I wore them right out of the box; very soft leather toe box room, absolutely no break in time. I wear a size 8 and ordered an 8- Perfect. it's a girly flat so not much arch support but cute!

I received these 3 days ago, the more I wear them, the more I like them. If you are looking for a basic flat, but want one that you won't be replacing constantly - this is it. Fit great, soft, quality leather! Love them.

Gorgeous. But seem very small to me. All my Frye boots ( campus, Melissa button, engineer) are 9 and have amazing fit. I ordered a 9.5 in these to be safe. I refuse to suffer with blisters or hurting feet. The 9.5 was snug. I didn't want to chance it so I returned and got a 10. I never bought a size 10 shoe in my life! So many other reviewers said they were true to size or even running a little bit big, so I don't know what's going on with me. I need a nice flat to wear after knee surgery, these fit the bill. I ordered two more pairs for a total of three! I hope they don't overstretch.

I thought that I would add my two cents because I found the other reviews confusing. I own several Frye boots, all 9½. I was not sure whether to order these in a 9 or 9½, since many reviewers were saying that these are larger than expected. That was not the case. If you have other Frye shoes, order these in the same size. These are very cute flats, and as usual, the Frye leather is beautiful.

These are really cute shoes. The look is between office and casual so depending upon the rest of the outfit they can be worn anywhere. The fit is standard. I normally wear a 7 medium and these are right on. If you are looking for arch support, these flats are not for you.

Love the Carson Ballet Flat, very comfortable! No break in time because leather is soft and quality of the leather keeps its shape after many, many wears. I have in several colors; it's my go to shoe. Order 1/2 size down.

I have wide feet and ballet flats usually are a tough fit. These are perfect. Incredibly well-made. Leather is as soft as butter. Fits true to size. Soles will need a little roughing up to avoid slipping. I look forward to wearing these for years!

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable and they look casual but polished. I am in between sizes, so I ordered up and that was definitely the right way to go!

I was considering the BB Flats by Repetto and also these. In the end these seemed sturdier and more comfortable. I love them! They are just great basic flats. The kind that you want in many colors. They are very comfortable and attractive. I am usually a 6-6½ and I got the 6 which is perfect!

Lovely style, lovely color, but the toe box is quite narrow, the shoe felt a half size shorter than the listed size, and there are not more in stock. Too bad for me.

I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. Before finding the Carson Ballet Flats, I'd go through a pair of flats in a matter of months, even quality brands like French Soles and Gentle Souls. I wear my Carsons every day, and after several months, they still look and feel new. They're the best flats I've had. They're comfortable and supportive, and have a classic design that goes with anything. The fit is a bit smaller than Frye boots I've had, so going up half a size may work for some but I have found that I like the snug fit of my regular size, 8.

I love this shoes! I got them in two colors. At work I'm all day on my feet and its hard to find comfortable shoes! Those flats are awesome! I have wide feet and this shoes fit me perfect. I also recommend phoebe mj!

Love the plain and simple design of the shoe. Buy a size smaller than your normal shoe since they will stretch and they have a low back you want to them fit snug so they stay on your foot. I also had to rough up the soles in the pavement, so I would not be slipping all over the place. I love the fact that they are all leather and the plain look.

I am not a "flat" person but I needed something besides boots to wear with skinny jeans. I ordered these in charcoal antique in 8½, my normal size. I was actually surprised at how much I like these. As others have said, these fit like a glove, which is key to keeping them on your feet. My previous experience with flats involved them flying off my feet when I walked. These are snug but not tight. The leather is so soft that the shoes mold to your feet and they are very comfortable. Granted, the bottoms are leather (not at all cushy) and you can really feel hard surfaces like cement sidewalks. I wear them at work where it is nice and carpeted. I do not think that I would wear these for a long day of shopping. I just bought a second pair in the same color because I stepped in gasoline at the gas station and the smell will not come out (sigh). I will be taking better care of my new pair. The charcoal color goes with everything!

Very comfortable shoe for a flat. This is the second pair of Carson's for me. On the first pair, I gasped a bit at the price but it was the color I wanted (so many to choose from). But the shoe was such a good fit, I bought a second pair. The first was a cream color and the leather is very soft, so it absorbed every bit of dirt there was... But, hey, it's a white shoe.

Frye is the best brand shoes I have ever worn. Leather is soft yet durable. Cleans up nicely. Cut of throat of the shoe is extremely comfortable.

These are great shoes! They do run small so go up half a size. I find that all Frye shoes run a tad bit small. The more you wear them the more comfortable they are. I love them and I love Frye!

This is the second pair I've purchased. The shoe is extraordinarily comfortable and handsome. My feet are not the best, and the Carson Ballet is the only flat I've found that works for me. I love the soft leather and great colors.

I'm happy with these (silver color), although like another reviewer said, they do have pale yellow sort of mixed in with the silver in some places. It is hard to explain, but the bottom line is that these are not 100% all-over silver shoes. That is fine for my purposes, but something to consider. These are super comfortable right out of the box. They do have leather soles (slick at first), but I think that is a major plus (and sign of quality) a leather sole should last a very long time.

I finally found the perfect ballet flat! I've been searching for quite some time for the perfect ballet flat, and I finally found it! I will be ordering this shoe in additional colors. So incredibly comfortable from the moment I put them on. The first time I wore them - walking around NYC for 3 days - absolutely no blisters, and so comfortable! You will not be sorry. I typically wear a 10...sometimes a 10 1/2, but never small than a 10. The 10 fit perfectly!

My favorite flat ever! I have 8 pairs now. All had to be purchased in size smaller. When I try to go to my normal size, they feel too loose and being all leather, will likely stretch. The first thing I do when I get a new pair is stick a non-skid pad on the leather sole.
