I love these shoes. Very soft and comfortable. I have to say that sizing is inconsistent. I have ordered in several different colors in my size and some fit and some don't. That's my biggest criticism. Luckily Zappos makes returns easy!

It's worth every penny and these flats are immediately comfortable. No rubbing on your heel and plenty of toe room!

These are comfortable and stylish. They are slippery when walking outside at first but with a little wear they are much better. These are excellent flats that are very high quality!

I live in ballet flats. I have been very loyal to a few other brands, but am very pleased with this purchase. I'm hard on shoes (very active). Not only are these a beautiful "cut' (love the look); they're hardier than the other two brands I've been buying. I intend to get these in black as well. Worth the money.

The leather sole makes it an elegant shoe. The shape is very nice, fits comfortable, but would not hike in them, too dainty.

This shoe is so comfy! Like walking on air. I hadn't heard of this brand before... But love it. Nice spring summer shoe or year round in hot climates.

I've never had success with ballet flats - even the most expensive kind, but this pair is just perfect...fits well, well structured, the back heel just right, not riding up your back ankle, and most of all, they are so comfortable. and of course, they look absolutely gorgeous. True to size. This is the first pair of shoes I bought online that I didn't have to return or exchange. I highly recommend these flats. as they say you get what you pay for - these are pricey but I've had pricier ones that I had to trash.

Love these shoes! I wear flats most of the time and these are very comfortable right out of the box. I have fairly narrow feet and these fit well- true to size. My only sort of complaint is that the soles are leather and very slippery when new. I scuffed up the soles on a rough sidewalk and now they are great. Nice color for almost any outfit. Good looking and well made.

I love these! They are slippery on the bottom (no tread) but comfortable, I stretched mine out with a blow dryer and they gave me 0 blisters the first time I put them on! They also look fantastic.

These shoes are so comfortable and pretty, I love them! The run small though. I ordered a 6.5 which is my size in 99% of shoes but these I had to order them in 7.

These are probably the best pair of flats I have ever owned. They are so soft and comfortable and fit my foot perfectly. I ordered my regular size. They don't have arch support b/c they are flats of course, so I tried adding an arch support but there wasn't enough room in the shoe so it squeezed my foot too much. I've been wearing them with no arch the last few weeks and they are great for regular wear. If you walk 5 miles in them, your foot may be sore. I live in NYC and do walk a fair amount and these shoes are great for it. Cute and really comfortable for flats. Maybe order up a 1/2 size if you want to add an arch?

Love these super comfy and super cute ballet flats. I should have really concentrated on all of the other reviews and bought the size 9 first, but I bought my standard 8.5 which kind of sort of fit, but was a bit was ultimately too snug in the length. So be warned, go up a bit when ordering or you will be taking advantage of Zappos free shipping in reverse. Love the charcoal color - it looks like a really well worn and warm color. Plan on buying other colors in the future. Plan on buying other Frye shoes in the future (second pair) and of course more boots.

These are my new go-to flats! The grey is very versatile. I am normally a 9 in Frye boots. I went up to a 9.5 in these because I felt like my toe was pushing against the front and would stretch the leather. After a few wears the 9.5 are a little loose but stay on my feet. If I ordered another pair, I'd stay with the 9. There is no toe cleavage by the way:). Also the soles are very slick at first but after two wears they roughed up nicely! Beautiful flat!!

These flats are a classic staple. They are well made with high quality leather. I ordered my usual size and they fit great. I do have wider feet than average.

These are the most amazing flats that I have ever worn. They are so comfortable I feel like I am wearing sneakers. I used to be a heel girl but retail and sports have done a number on my feet. These are stylish enough to fill my needs for fashion without wrecking my feet. They are not inexpensive but cheap shoes can do a lot of damage. Try these on, you will not regret it.

I have these now in two styles. One from Zappos and the other from 6pm, a subsidiary sale site of Zappos. I have long toes and a slightly narrow foot and these work great for me. They do not have a padded footbed, but for just running around, I have no problem, as I don't need that or arch support. I wish they weren't so expensive, but after returning 8 pairs of flats that didn't fit, it's worth it to me. One pair is over a year old and the others I just received and wore them all day with no blisters, rubbing, etc.

Worn without knee-highs or hosiery they squeak. Worn with they are great. The style is very cute and comfortable. This is the first time I have been unable to wear Anne Klein shoes without hosiery.

Love these flats! Haver purchased several colors since buying this pair. True to size, I wear an 8 M. Wore them all day walking around Chicago with no issues. Very slippery on the bottom on carpeting, flooring and sidewalks, so would recommend scuffing the bottoms with sand paper before wearing. Great shoes!

I purchased these in mustard a few months ago in an 8.5. Had to exchange too small. 9 was much better. Ordered them again in black in 9 but was a little disappointed they were small again even at size 9 but needed them for work and couldn't return. It took about 6 weeks to break them in. Now they are perfect and love both pairs. The soles are very smooth which makes walking on carpet awkward until they rough out. Will probably buy even more colors. Awesome flat!

I really wanted to hate these because of the price, but I LOVED them. They are supple and the leather is extremely fine. They are weathered looking but the raisin/oxblood color is just unique enough that they look very special and high end rather than worn. The soles are VERY slippery at first, but they get beat up in a week. My only concern is that the leather bottoms will wear out SUPER fast. I have never had soles like this and the soles seem to be eroding quickly.

I bought my first pair of these at Costco, for $$! And I wore them all the time. I was never a fan of flats, because of the lack of support. However, I can wear these all day, every day, which I do. I initially bought a size 8 because they felt snug, but they stretched to where they no longer looked structured. So, and here's the kicker, I ordered both black and brown in 7.5 from zappos. When they arrived, the black was snug, but comfortable, and the cognac brown was so small you could see my toes through the leather. I took them off to check the sizes, and they were both 7.5. Then I realized the black ones were made in one country and the cognac ones were made somewhere else. The cognac ones are at least a half inch shorter and narrower than the black! I called frye, and they were evasive about telling me which ones were made in this hemisphere and which overseas. I just want to know if I order a second pair of cognac in 7.5, will they be made overseas or could I get lucky and get the regularly sized pair, or, should I size up because maybe all cognac ones are made overseas?!?

It is hard to find a nice navy blue ballet flat. I searched for a while before finding Frye's Carson Ballet. These shoes are made beautifully and are true to size. I can't wait for the fall weather to wear them.

I love these shoes! I purchased the plum in 8.5. They are true to size. I am usually an 8 or an 8.5 and the 8.5 fit perfectly. The color is beautiful and the shoes are extremely comfortable, no break in time required. The color goes with everything (jeans, black pants, brown pants) and they are just nice enough to get away with at the office although I would consider them weekend shoes, because of the distressed look. I have bunions and the shoes don't hurt them at all.
