I usually wear and ordered an 8.5. Nevertheless, would definitely recommend these shoes. The women at work and the yoga studio were very curious about my shoes!

I love these shoes! I'm so glad I spent the money, because I can see how well Fryes are made. I feel like I can wear them with everything.

This shoe is unbelievably comfortable. However, when this shoe is on, it looks dressier than I thought it would. Unfortunately, I was looking for something more casual. I will definitely be trying on more Frye boots, because they're so amazingly comfortable.

Finally, a shoe that has a deeper toe box that doesn't pinch your toes! The boot-style heel looks sharp. Wish it came in black as well.

I usually wear a 9 narrow - the 8.5 worked for me. Also with padding in the heel I'm able to wear them without socks - they look great with skirts, jeans, etc. I love these shoes - love Zappos!

This shoe has the looks and comfort found in quality vintage shoes. Good looking, with just the right heel height and lacing to really customize the fit around the arch of the foot. And I can wiggle my toes in them and very happy with these shoes!

Gorgeous, fun, well-made shoe! I originally purchased a 7 after reading all the reviews that say to go a half size down, but the arch felt like it was in the wrong spot and the overall feel was just too snug. I exchanged for the 7 1/2 and although the toebox is a little long, the overall fit is much better. Unless you have extremely narrow feet I recommend sticking to your true size. My Harness boots are a 7, but only because the toe box is wider and stubbier. I believe with the pointier-toed Fryes, the best thing is to stick to your true size. I'm looking forward to wearing these with dresses and pants alike.

These are the highest quality shoes I own. They are very comfortable, and I love the color and the style.

The best shoes! Very high quality and the soles are more durable than my Frye boots. And they are so cute! They look great with both jeans and dresses. Also very comfortable, especially for such a cute shoe. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than my normal size, and they fit perfectly.

My first pair of Frye. I love them. Fits perfectly straight out of the box. No breaking in period. Classic look. Worth the money. Wore them all day at work...feet were happy at the end of the day.

These shoes are amazing! I'm on my feet all day long at work and they never stop being comfortable! I was hesitant at first to get them because I was worried they'd look too masculine with the slight turn up at the toes but I ordered a half size down from what I usually am in Frye and they're perfect! A bit slick but it's a small price to pay for the all leather sole and gorgeous Frye craftsmanship. I highly recommend these shoes to everyone looking for perfect, classic, comfy oxfords!

Just what I was looking for in an oxford. I normally wear a size 9.5 or 10, but a size 9 in these fit perfectly! These were on my front porch when I arrived home from work, I threw them on to head to the grocery store and they were comfortable straight out of the box. I highly recommend these!

These shoes exceeded my expectations. Not only do they look great on and are completely well-made like everything Frye, they are comfortable. I was a little worried because I am a big Frye fan. I own the Harness boots and shoe boots and, while they're comfortable, they are heavy. Wearing the Oxfords is like walking on air! My advice: if you're going to buy in to the Oxford trend this season, go for quality, even if that means spending more. I ordered a less expensive shoe along with the Fryes and sent them right back. There is no comparison. Plus this is a shoe that never goes out of style.

I ordered these shoes and had immediate buyers remorse because of the price. I received the shoes the next day (thank you, Zappos) and the feeling went immediately away! I ordered the cognac and the color was exactly what I was looking for. Put them on and felt like I'd been wearing them for years, very comfortable. The first day I wore these shoes they were on my feet for more than 8 hours and never hurt once. I will agree with a prior review that the bottoms are very slick so be careful for the first wear. Fit is true to size, I'm a 5.5 and they fit great. Don't hesitate to spend the money, these shoes are definitely worth the price.

These are gorgeous and comfortable! I wore them throughout a recent trip to Paris, walking everywhere, and not a single blister. Super cute with ankle-length slim trousers. Expensive but I'll have these classics for years.

I wear a size 9.5 or 10 and have very narrow feet. The size 9 fits very well, although I can still slip the shoe on and off without untying. For me it's all about where the instep hits. Great looking oxford, wonderfully made, hard to find an actual leather sole anymore but you need to rough it up a bit so as not to slip. Love the heel shape, not too western, just stylishly different. Comfy all day.

This shoe is fabulous! I agree with the other reviews that it is comfortable from the first wear, without having to break them in. I also agree with the other review that the toe box is a little long, so I would downsize by one size if your foot is narrow, but since mine is normal to wide, I kept my normal size, and there is some space at the toe (which is okay). Overall, they still feel very comfortable.

The search for the perfect oxford is over! This shoe is beautiful! The toe box is a little on the long side, but I have wide feet, so my normal size fits perfectly. Downsize only if you have narrow feet. The stacked leather heel adds a special touch to this shoe. The leather is gorgeous--rich and luxurious. This is a classic oxford with the perfect amount of femininity. Don't hesitate to buy this.

I love these shoes. I got them for work and they look very professional. They are well made and look better the more I wear them. They do not have any arch support so if you have high arches plan on buying an insert of some kind.

I've only worn these shoes for a few hours and they felt great. There wasn't that dreaded sensation of having to break them in. They're beautifully crafted too and comfortable.

I found this shoe to be a half size too large. The smaller size fit me fine in the toe box (and I have wide feet) although it was tight initially across the mid-section of the foot. After wearing them for one day, that part has stretched out and now they feel fine. I\'m glad I went with half a size smaller than normal. Stylish shoe, well constructed. The fawn color is neutral and I can wear it with anything. The sole is slippery but I imagine once it gets scuffed up, I won\'t have to worry about it anymore.

I read the previous reviews that this shoe is a little long in the toe box so I tried both an 8 1/2 (which I typically wear) and an 8. I chose the 8 as it felt more comfortable (snug) and didn't feel "odd" (long in the toe). I'm very glad I went down a half size for this shoe. Also, since the shoe is leather, I'm sure it will "give" a little after wearing it and not feel too sloppy.
