I loved to love these boots... but I have to say they did not look good on my short legs... I know I have naturally wide feet and low ankles, the leather is so soft and lux on these boots, so it really wrinkles around my ankles and it is not that flattering on me... size wise I usually am a 6, and 5.5 fits me like a glove, might be too tight with socks so I go true to your size.

This is a great boot and a great staple for your wardrobe. I got them in black suede. They go great with tights and above the knee skirts and dresses. Very comfortable. I have skinny calves and these fit perfectly. I have gotten lots of compliments.

Beautiful boot. Had to try on a few different sizes, to finally get it right. I an typically a 9.5 and in the suede I went with a 9. In the leather I needed the 9.5.

These are the best over the knee boots. They fit like a glove, are super comfortable, easy to get on and off, and make you feel like a million bucks. They are worth every penny.

These are definitely a size too big! I ordered an 8 - my go to boot size - and I am returning them for a smaller size, I am not sure if a 7½ will fit but I think that I am going for a 7 as the foot part was just way too long. Otherwise, these are beautiful and flattering boots. I always wear heels and never find flat boots that are flattering. These are them!

The boot definitely runs large. My foot was swimming in a 7.5 which is the size I would typically wear. The boot looks nice on the outside, but I was surprised by what seems to be a very thin sole. I think the boot could be really comfortable, but the thin sole makes me hesitate to wear it.

I have wanted to try these boots for a few years and finally thought that I would give them a whirl. They came today and looked fabulous. My calfs are only 11½" so they looked pretty good, but the toe box was a little tight. I am going to try an 8½M instead of an 8N to see if it will make a difference. I usually wear a 9½N in Asics running shoes (the Cumulous W/ orthotics), but in boots, I usually get an 8 or 8½ but never keep them as my calfs are too small. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the 5050s fit in an 8½N. I am going to give these all fives as I love them so much, but I am just not very healthy these days and have lost a lot of muscle mass so my search for boots that work may never come to fruition. However, I am keeping a smile on my face and my fingers crossed!

Best boot ever. I now own three of this style- black suede, black leather and a taupe suede. I can wear these all day and night! Very comfortable.

These boots are beautiful, comfortable and so flattering on your leg. They are comfortable and well made. A true Stuart Weitzman classic!

I usually wear an 8.5N or 9N, but the 8N fit best. have a narrow foot with a long arch, and these boots are perfect for me. They are narrow where they should be, but leave room for my toes to wiggle. While it's true that it takes some practice to learn to put these on and take them off, it's pretty easy after a few times. The leather is soft and beautiful, and I love that they go over my knees, keeping my legs warm with dresses in the winter. I wish there were a bit of cushioning at the heel so that the impact was softer. But all around, a gorgeous well-fitting boot that I imagine will last a long time.

After getting over the price of the shoes, I finally made the move. Boy, are they worth every penny. Beautiful, comfortable, and warm. I wear them with jeans, legging, skirts and dresses. Dress them up or down. I usually wear a 5.5 and that is what I bought and they fit PERFECT.

These are gorgeous leather! When I first got these I really had a hard time getting them on. I found if you turn them down half way and then pull them on its easier and it gets easier the more you were them. I agree that they need a zipper. I have a larger athletic calf and they are a great fit. I would have given them an overall 5 if not for the initial problem getting them on. I thought I would have to return them, but worked with the issue and now love them.

So sad these didn't work. I was so excited to try the SW 5050 as the reviews are tremendous and photos of celebs are so great. I have muscular calves (15" at largest point) and while I was able to get the boots on (after some struggle with the foot/ankle angle) they just don't look right. Also, I am 5'5" and the back material came up to mid knee pit which would cause the material to roll over time. Sadly - they are going back.

I adore these boots! the color is amazing, subtle and sophisticated (the blue/black combo really works) and the suede is buttery, and like all Stuart Weitzmans, extremely well made and totally worth the investment. But sadly they will have to go back because without a zip, they are just too much of a struggle to get in and out of (particularly with even a 'skinny' jean). So sad.

I am a tall girl who almost always looks for a nice flat boot in the winter time to go out in. I found these are thought they were absolutely gorgeous. Definitely a hefty price tag but I think I will wear them endlessly. I originally bought a size 9.5 (my normal size) - but they were too big & bunching in the leg. I re-ordered for a size 9 narrow. I think these boots look best when they fit snug around the ankle so the narrow size really helped with that for me. They fit beautifully now & I already want another pair in suede.

These boots rock! BUT they run large, both in width and length. I have a AAA width foot, and 50% of my shoes are Stuart Weitzman. I almost always, without question, wear an 8N. In this boot, the 7.5 narrow fits me better than the 8N. Try a half size down!

I received the boots and thought they were gorgeous leather. I had a really hard time getting them on the first time and thought I would just send them back. Once I did get them on the foot area was very comfortable, so I just thought Id try the on and off a couple of more times. By the third time, they were going on easier and so I wore them out and LOVE them. A tip is to fold them half way down and then flip up for over the knee.I do think they should have a zipper somewhere. All the way down would be super.I usually wear an 8-8/12 in boots. The 8 was perfect. I would give them 5 stars, except for the on and off.

Most amazing boots ever! I have wanted them for so long, and now I got them. They fit like they were made for me. Super soft and comfy. I am size 8.5-9 and ordered these in a size 9. Perfect.

I can't say enough about these boots. I am one of those women who wants to look stylish but doesn't necessarily have an innate feel for how to put an outfit together. These boots do all of the work for me. I could wear them with a garbage bag and look chic. Don't despair if you can't get them on the first time. It's a pain, but just stick with it (hint: I find them *much* easier to get on if I'm standing up). They get easier each successive time. At 5'4 I'm on the shorter side and so I do have to pull them up a bit if I'm walking long distances, but it's not a major hinderance. Overall, I love, love, love these boots.

OMG! I just received the 50/50 boot in Nice Blue. Talk about gorgeous. They are absolutely beautiful. I've been eyeing them on Zappos for about a year now and finally decided to "invest" the money in a quality pair of flat boots. I am not disappointed. In my opinion, there was no problem getting them on and off. I would suggest ordering a half size smaller than you wear in closed-toe shoes. Very happy with this purchase. Considering buying red pair!

I bought this shoe last year and it is perfect in every way. I am 5'1" when happy and this shoe still looked amazing on me - so much so that twice when I wore this and entered shoe shops, patrons dropped the boots they were about to buy and asked me where I got mine. Of course I told them I got them from Zappos, showed the website to them on their phones, and told them how Zappos customer service is as perfect as these shoes. We live outside US so Zappos has not caught on much to locals here. Thank you Zappos for a great online shopping experience and for introducing me to even more awesome shoes!

These a great classic, stylish boots. I'm very happy with them. The heel is low so they are also comfortable. You can wear them over the knee or tuck the high part into the boot for a different look. They are easy to pack for travel too. You can just roll them up.

I listened to the reviews and sized down but turns out it runs pretty true to size. Maybe a little larger, but not enough for me to size down. So I returned the smaller pair and ordered my regular size. The black suede leaves dark marks on my fingers when I pull them on. So I will avoid white or lighter colored jeans to pair with these boots.

Thrilled with these boots. They're very elegant in the black suede, and go with everything - literally everything. Very comfortable, no need to break them in at all. They run to size or maybe half a size generous, but not enough to worry about not ordering your normal size. Zappos was great - gave me a free upgrade to next day shipping, which was most appreciated!
