Love, love, love these boots. They were a little spendy fur me, but worth the money. They look terrific over jeans, pants , tights & skirts. Fits well& comfortable.

These boots are awesome! They are beautifully made. Fit like a glove. They stay up on my leg, no bagging or sagging. They are very flattering. I will be wearing these for years to come. If they were not so expensive I would get them in other colors!

I am more than happy with these boots. The other reviews to go down a half size worked for me. I usually wear a 7 and the 6.5 fits perfectly!

Bought these in black while on a trip with achy feet, put them on right there, best boot I have ever worn..had to come to Zappos to get another pair in another color. Comfortable, stylish and the softest leather.

I bought another pair in black nappa in the exact same size and width and for some reason these feel more snug than the other pair. Normally I am a 6 1/2 with average width but I had to return a pair and buy a half size down in wide. With socks these feel tighter than the black nappa. I even double checked to make sure I didn't accidentally order average width. Not sure if I will be able to keep which is a shame considering they are so hot looking!

Beautiful boots but I had to order a half size down from 6 1/2 and I still have a bit of room to wiggle my toes. However, wearing socks takes care of that problem. Also, I ordered a wide instead of regular because my heel refused to fit inside the boot. Still a pain to slip on but not as much. My advice is to sit in a chair and push feet down while pulling up the boot vs sitting on the floor. Much easier!

OK, they were worth the hype (if maybe not the $). I'd bought black suede boots in the past, and they were never quite right. In particular, I'm really tall, with a ~35-36 inseam, and knee-high boots often don't come anywhere my knee. I wanted black suede boots that would reach my knee, be comfortable, and be attractive. Et voila, the 5050s. They're not over-the-knee on me (see my inseam, above!), but they do reach just about to my kneecap. They're so comfy, and they look great. Surprising bonuses: (1) They're a lot warmer than I expected them to be, considering they have no lining, and (2) considering how tall (and zipper-free) they are, I find them quite easy to get on and off. I'm a runner and have a well-muscled calf, about 15 3/4 inches in diameter, and I can fit leggings or skinny jeans inside them - regular jeans won't fit. I wear size 11 in street shoes, and that's what I got in these, which was the correct size. I still wish they were about half the price, but for me they were well worth it.

Really comfortable. I went up a 1/2 size, but I really didn't need to. I kept them anyway, as I'll probably be wearing socks with these.

Awesome boot! I am normally an 8N but Stuart Weitzman is perfect for me in a 7.5 M. They are snug through the legs but the elastic on the bag makes them work perfectly...get them, you will love them! SO comfortable and super chic.

Like everyone else - fabulous sexy boot. Extremely comfortable. Expensive, but worth every dollar. They fit like a glove.

I finally purchased these after lusting after them for about 2 years. I was really expecting some lovely arch support inside these boots as I have a different pair of SW boots that do. These have none. Very disappointing. I would have to add an insole and would except the heel is so wide on me in my usual narrow width that the flip flop action would make them too annoying to wear. They are going back. The real shame is that there are no other choices for an 11.5 or 12 narrow in his boots right now. I love my last pair even if I could not get them in the leopard print in my size (that was cruel not to offer it) but they are brown which leaves me on the forever hunt for black boots that will fit my very long legs up to the knee like my last pair; which are 5 or 6 years old now. I guess it is too much to ask for a boot with an 18-19 inch shaft height on a 12 narrow size. I suppose the last ones were meant to go over the knee but on me were just under for me and my first knee high boots I had ever had that actually come up to my knees. I wear a 37 inseam in jeans. This pair actually cover m knee cap.

What can I say, Comfort Casual, Dressy, Everyday, special occasions...I wear these boots everywhere. I have 2 colors and took out a loan for the 2nd pair. But they last, and are comfortable, Did I say comfortable? I have suede, they need a little more TLC to keep clean. I am a size 5 1/2. I got the Wide because I have a bunion. I didn't need to Shoe stretch them. Go for a color pair, you won't regret it. My Burgundy's get more use than my black leather pair.

I have wanted these iconic boots for years, and this fall I took the plunge. Worth the wait. Comfortable on first wearing. Sleek and understated with skinny jeans and leggings. I love the lack of hardware. They are a bit of a challenge to get on and off, but worth it!

These are the best boots. I have them in the black napa and the cola suede. They are very flattering and very comfortable. I cannot recommend them enough - they are worth every penny.

I am going to return these boots. They are way too hard to put on and off, they look lovely from the front but ugly from the back and are way overpriced for what you get. I am returning them mostly because they are just flat ugly from the back. I am not a fan of 50 percent Spandex boots.

I love these boots. They are absolutely perfect. I have wide feet and large calves so the 8W fit me perfectly. The entire back half of the boot is stretchy to accommodate a wide variety of calf sizes. It is so hard for me to find chic looking shoes in wide but SW always comes through. These boots are a home run. Sexy, comfy and chic.

These are beautiful boots that are pricey, but beautifully crafted. I ordered half a size down, after reading comments. I am a true 8½N, and should have gone with it. I called a wonderful representative, I sent back the 8 and received the correct size. Coming from northern North Dakota, that little extravagance, will make tolerating our winters a bit easier.

These boots are amazing. I wish I had found them earlier in my life. I have muscular calves and have always had issues finding stylish boots that fit. These fit me like a glove and make my legs looks long and sleek. The leather is like butter and they feel like a second skin. They are expensive, but they are worth it to me -- I'm going to have these forever!

I recently bought two pairs of the 50/50 boots -- one in Black Nappa leather and the other in Cola Nappa leather. I am extremely pleased with my purchase despite the price. I am an Ugg girl -- but felt the need to get these boots since they seem like a classic boot. I normally wear either a size 6 or 6.5 and called Zappos before my purchase to see what a staffer would recommend. The representative recommended that I go with my usual size and not to size down since the majority of those who purchased the boot before felt that they were true to size. I am glad that I did -- the size 6 feels great with some room to breathe. These boots are a fashion statement, but high end and I would not wear them in slushy, snowy weather. They are definitely designed for the Fall months and if you want to show them off, do so in dry conditions. I would recommend them to women and say, "treat yourself, you deserve them!" Great style, not so great price, but as we all know -- you can't have everything.

My second pair, this time in brown. When I go to NY in winter, I wear these every other day, and every evening in all but the worst weather. They are lightweight comfortable and make everything you wear look classy. So despite their height, they are perfect for travel because they do the work of many pairs of shoes. I absolutely love them. The cost is high, more Thani I've ever spent on footwear and worth it.

Love these boots! A few things to note before you buy, though...1) they run very large. I'm a consistent 7.5 in shoes and I bought these in 2 sizes (6.5 for wearing with tights and thin socks and size 7 for very heavy fuzzy socks). 2) The Olive Brown description was a bit misleading. They are more of an Olive Green with not much in the way of brown tones. I ended up keeping them, but the color was not what I was expecting. Overall, really happy with them, though!

By far the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. The leather feels supple and high quality. If you are hesitating, don't!

This is my go-to boot. I purchased it last year in black and this year in blue. I wear them all the time. The fit is fabulous for muscular calves because of the stretch panel and the tall height is fashionable, warm and a bit sexy. Love.
