Stylish and cute boot for shopping, doing errands or attending casual functions. They will not keep your feet warm if you plan to stay outside for any length of time. Definitely not made to go through any depths of snow. I was not looking to use them that way (have my 20 below zero Columbias for that) so no disappointment there. The inner foot pad feels similar to memory foam, almost like I am wearing my comfy slippers. I am considering buying the dark grey to match a new coat I just purchased.

I love these boots. I have never written a review until now but love these boots so much I had to do it. They are very lightweight and very warm. It is like having a sleeping bag wrapped around your foot. I live in VT and we get a lot of snow and cold. They hold up well to drive your car and the tread is aggressive. I would wear an extra pair of socks if it got down to -20 but other than that I am a true Nuptse fan now. I was looking for a boot that was light, warm, waterproof, good tread and cute to boot. I know I found it here.

Soft like slippers! I did not find them a snow boot nor super warm as I read others say but perfect for a Christmas walk at the park to feed the ducks and geese at the dock.

Extremely comfortable and cute; would suggest them over classic Uggs any day. They don't have the thickest soles though but I haven't had any issues in snow/on ice so even though the sole is thinner it's okay.

Great boots! My friend bought some and inspired me to get some. Very warm and comfortable. Sometimes there's a squishy feeling on the left outside which can be annoying, but its not enough for me to not love the boots.

Everyone told me that the white boots would get dirty...they were right. They don't look messy, but they aren't as bright as they were when I first got them. They're surprisingly comfortable. I wore these boots while I worked at a snow tubing hill. They were fine to stand and walk around for six hour shifts (more than I can say for my Uggs). The only issue I had is that the boots would tend to slide down and bunch around the heel. Otherwise these boots are great!

These boots fit true to size and keep my feet extremely warm and dry. They're easy to take on and off and overall very stylish. I love them!! I'm buying another set in brown!

Simply love these boots! I do a lot of walking around Philly for my volunteer ministry and these boots are perfect. Lightweight, so I'm not exhausted and very warm and think I will order another pair in black in a few weeks! I ordered half size larger to accommodate thick socks and I'm glad I did. Ordered Wednesday and arrived Friday morning. I love Zappos!

The boots look like they'll be very warm. The laces seem a bit short--I think I am going to have to trade them for longer laces. Absolutely no arch support in the pair I got. I'm going to have to put arch cookies or an innersole with arch support in the boots to be able to walk any distance.

I purchased these boots for my 9 year old daughter. She liked them so well, I decided to order an adult sized pair for myself. The boots are cute and very comfortable. But there are two issues I would like to share about them. Sizing runs small. I wear a 5. I ordered the 6 and they are almost snug. They fit, but I won't be able to wear heavier socks with them. The top of the boot does not fit snugly. Even with jeans tucked into the boot, and the laces tied as tightly as possible, they are not a snug fit. This may create a problem in deep snow, because I could easily see snow falling in the top of them. Overall, they are a cute casual winter boot. Because they are loose fitting on top, I wouldn't consider them a heavy duty snow boot.

Nice boots, but the top of the toes is soft (albeit warm) material. No protection if you accidentally hit your foot while shoveling, or knock into a snow covered rock while walking.

These a great fashionable yet practical boot. They are a lightweight boot but keep your feet warm.

Could be a great boot since it's very lightweight and doesn't look or feel like a winter boot! It has absolutely no support though. Perfect for someone looking for a very lightweight warm boot who wants a more feminine winter style. Thanks, Zappos, for the fantastically fast shipping!

They look really toasty and warm. Don't be fooled. They're waterproof, which is great, but make sure to get a half size bigger so you can wear plenty of socks with them! There's not much warm lining or anything. Other than that little complaint, they are good so far. Stylish and practical.

Great boots! Super comfortable, nice looking and light weight. A double sock still may be needed for those super cold days. I'd get a 1/2 size up encase.

These boots are cute, and they are weather proof. I wore them during the winter months in Montreal, and with a thick pair of socks, they were very good. They are waterproof for stepping in snow and walking through the rain (although this will make your feet cold, they won't be wet). However, do not expect them to be impermeable like rubber rain boots. I stepping into a big puddle of slush (very watery slush), and they got soaked. Hopefully that helps people get a better sense of their performance. In addition, I have one complaint: they are rather "mushy" so the boot tends to slouch down as you walk around. Even if you tie the laces very tightly, this happens (because your ankle is thinner than your calf).

I bought these boots two years ago, still look great and they are very comfortable! They did a great job while I was treking around in snow and ice (never slid), but definitely are not waterproof. Unfortuatelly, these boots should have come with frost bite warnings! They did not keep me warm even in 38° temperature while watching my son play football for 1½ hours even while wearing my warmest thickest socks. Bitter sweet boots, and I had expected more from The North Face name.

The boots are comfortable like sneakers, but not as nice-looking as I expected. Additionally, while they are good for snow, you cannot really step in a puddle of water without getting wet. So, these boots aren't doing what I wanted them to do.

These are very comfortable boots; however, they are not very warm for very cold weather! I have had them for a couple winters now and am not impressed with their lack of warmth! The bottoms of my feet get cold first, then my toes! Wouldn't recommend for those cold Wisconsin winters!

This is a very "pretty boot". Definitely not a boot to go walking the dog in. This boot is the boot your friends would compliment you on.( Strangers too!) It felt warm on my feet,it's cozy and comfortable. There is know arch support,what-so-ever. The shoe ties should be much longer ~ I could not get the top of the boot completely closed at the top~which looked odd to me because the 'fur' stuck out. It is 'true to size. I wear a 7~1/2 and often need a 7 or 8 depending on which way it goes (too big and too small ) These fit perfect. Obviously,I am sending them back~ I need a more solid made boot. I will keep looking.

These boots are definitely not made for snow or very cold weather. I wore them on a cold but beautiful snowy day and my feet froze, even with wool socks just walking around town. As they were made by the North Face, I was very disappointed. They seem like they are made for dry weather above 30 degrees and seemed flimsy, unsupported and the fur sheds.After using them one weekend, they already seem very worn.

I bought these boots last winter and barely wore them as it didn't snow as much. This year I wore them twice and started to feel water soaking my socks. Today I wore them again and my socks got really wet walking in wet snow. These are great boots while they lasted, but not durable and for the price, I would expect them to last more than they did. Now I have to shop for another pair as these are useless!
