I got these boots for Christmas three years ago (they are not exactly the same, North Face has changed the look of the boot a little since then) and they are as fantastic today as the day I got them in 2007. I have worn them literally every time there was snow on the ground, and they are still good as new. They are comfortable and lightweight, like a sneaker, but totally waterproof and super warm. And there is plenty of room for stuffing jeans inside, which keeps them nice and dry in the snow and slush. I wear a 7 in shoes, and I got a 7 in these and they fit great. There is plenty of room for thick socks if I want them, but they also work just fine with regular socks.

Wow! They're light like a pair of slippers! But they are so incredibly warm. If you're looking for a clunky, heavy boot this is not the one for you. But if you like a lightweight feel, they're awesome.

These boots are awesome, warm and comfortable! I have MS, and getting boots on can be difficult. The front opens way down, for easy on an off. They're light as a feather, so walking is easy. And they're warm! I am totally in love, and about to order another color.

I walk 1 mile on my commute to work in Chicago every day and my feet were aching from only wearing gym shoes so I finally thought -- duh, I need winter boots. I went for The North Face because they have such a great reputation and because I thought they were cute looking. They arrived and looked a bit different from the photo, but I still love them. The white portions of the boot are soft like a winter coat would be, whereas I thought it was stiffer material. Either way, I really like them. They are LIGHT like slippers, but definitely have a good sole for outside. I wore my boots this morning in 20 degrees F and my toes were toasty warm! All I wore was a thin wool sock. The full lace-up makes the fit adjustable -- tighter fit or looser. I love these boots! I normally wear a 7.5 woman's shoe in terms of gym shoes and ladies heels, so I went with an 8 and they fit perfectly. Therefore, I would say the sizing is a bit small. If you wear an 8.5 I would not buy an 8 but a 9. Go up in size. Also, the sole is nice and squishy and feels good on my feet when I walk.

These boots are very warm and look nice with my jeans tucked in them or out. They do well in the snow.

You cannot go wrong with this boot. It is super comfortable from the moment it goes on, quite stylish, and has good traction through snow and hardened icy surfaces. If you are trekking over ice, I do recommend giving the outsole traction system a moment to activate/harden if you are going from a warm home directly to the icy surface. I am certain that these boots will keep my feet warm during long treks this winter, as all of the other North Face gear I own (jackets, ski pants, thermal shirts) has lived up to its product description/my expectations.

Bought these online after trying other North Face boots on in store. I was so excited to try these on and have not been let down one bit! They are as light as a ballet flat, warm as the best pair of slippers and cute to "boot"! I want them in more than one color! Great boot, and best of all the star pattern on the bottom of the boot keeps you safe and leaves a great track - my kids like to follow the stars to find me! Can't wait to get a second pair!

After searching for the perfect winter boot that I can wear in crazy Michigan weather, I settled on these. I wasn't sure if I wanted another pair of Uggs or not (because I get tired of repeatedly spraying them), but once I got these I was confident I had chosen the right ones...in the Ivory color. The back of the boot is sort of strange because it feels so empty, but the front has so much going on that it kind of distracts you away from the back. It's extremely comfortable, as North Face products usually are. And the thing that I love about these boots is that you could wear sweatpants, skinny jeans, bootcut, flare, anything, and they will look good tucked in. In the pair of Uggs I own (Bailey Button), my flares look ridiculous when tried I try to tuck them in. I haven't yet worn these in deep snow, but they're really warm in flurries weather, no matter the temperature! If you're iffy about a color or just the style in general, I would buy these, inspect them when they arrive at your house, and the decide. It's free shipping, people! Take the chance, it's worth it!

I ordered these based on Nuptse III reviews and have not been disappointed. They are cozy warm and light, yet still have decent structure. I replaced the inserts with UGG inserts - based on another reviewer's suggestion - and I like the added cushion enough to ignore the fact that my heel no longer fits as snugly in the boot. I find myself not wanting to take them off and daydreaming about getting a second, inside-only, pair.

First of all, I wear a woman's size 8 and ordered the girl's size 6; they fit perfectly, and I saved money. Okay, so these boots are amazing. They're lightweight, have great traction, and keep my feet warm and dry, and I really use them (miscellaneous running around, but also snow blowing and sled riding with my kiddos). I was so impressed that I ordered some for my 10 and 6-year-old daughters and truthfully, I rarely buy them expensive boots because their feet grow so darn fast! I'd absolutely recommend these boots.

I ordered these boots to wear around the ski resorts, to get me through the slushy parking lots. First, these boots are super cute and are extremely light weight! They are cuddly warm. This weekend in NH there was snow on the ground and slush everywhere and these boots worked out perfectly! I left my Uggs at home and stayed nice and dry while everyone else had wet soggy Uggs! I even overheard a couple of women saying how much they loved my boots! If you need waterproof, leave your Uggs at home and get these!

This boot is GREAT for tough winters! It has a snug fit, but it keeps your feet warm and dry!

I couldn't be happier with these boots, they are very lightweight and the rubber on the heel is low enough not to rub my foot. I haven't worn it in the rain or snow yet, so I don't know how fast water would soak in, but I have worn it in the cold and my feet stay quite warm!

I ordered these the day before we got snow and have worn them every day for the past week. Warm, comfy,lightweight and good-looking. I have received a lot of compliments on them from women of all ages. Something about them is just appealing, cute, feminine without the typical snow boot clunkiness. And they are roomy enough to use the arch supports I always put in my shoes. Love 'em!

Zappos is the best! I really like these boots because they are lightweight, not slippery, very warm. They don't make my size 11 foot look like a boat either. Nicely designed. I can't say enough about them. Shipping is wonderful from Zappos. I haven't gotten shoes anywhere else in years!

These are really cute! Warm boots too. I would order them again and would tell others to also. The boots are so comfy and easy to walk in. Boots aren't always easy to walk the distance, but these help me get across campus dry and warm.

I've never written reviews before but this time I have to. I got this and it's the best thing that ever happened to my feet. I work a 12-hour shift and this pair is by far the most comfortable thing that I've worn. I have 3 pairs of Uggs and 5 pairs of Aerosole boots but this one is by far the best! I'm actually going to buy one more in a different color.

These boots are true to size and level of comfort. I purchased these for the winter months when it's really cold, and rainy days so I can be outside with my dogs and not get soaking wet from the knee down! They are extremely lightweight, and very comfortable, even with thick socks. Great purchase and I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for water resistant boots that are stylish.

PERFECT!!! Soooo comfortable - true to size and so cute. Looks better than the picture and is so warm and water resistant! I would suggest anyone on the edge to DEFINITELY buy these boots! A seriously winter MUST HAVE!

I put these boots to the test today and they passed with flying colors! I needed a boot that was warm and comfortable and not cumbersome to wear to watch my kids play fall sports. Standing on cold ground for 3 1\\\/2 hours straight my feet only started to feel a bit chilly - while everyone else was complaining of frozen toes. Money well spent! It helps that they\\\'re kinda cute, too!

I have yet to really put these to the test (like the other reviewers), but in just looking at the material, I wouldn't expect to wear these in two feet of snow or in large amounts of wet snow. However, they do look "resistant" enough, and I do plan to at least see what I can get away with. These are extremely light and fit/feel much like a walking shoe. They are very warm, but I like that they are not overly puffy and large. I got the olive color, which I think the picture accurately represents (though it's kind of a nice slate color in certain lights). If you plan to wear really thick socks, I'd recommend trying a half-size larger.

I wore these boots for 2 years and they were awesome! Very warm, soft and light. The lightest boots I have ever had! Two minuses: 1) if you wear "wrong" socks - they would crumble inside the shoe; 2) they started to tear along the line where 2 different materials meet after the 1st year. But would I buy them again? For sure!

First of all, I must say I love Zappos! I got them shipped for free next day! I don't know how they do it. Zappos is great and I will always use them! I ordered the size 7.5 brown pair and they are a little darker than in the photo, but not as dark as the ones in the video. I personally liked the photo better. They are still very cute! They are slightly narrow at the toe but not enough so that it causes discomfort. The narrowness makes the front have a funny shape since my feet aren't the narrowest. The fit is pretty close although my heels slip out a little every time i walk. I tried to adjust the laces to fix this issue and possibly make them tighter to no avail. I suppose if I wore thicker socks it would be better but I haven't tried it yet. Also, since there is this hard mud guard thing, it annoyingly rubs my heel every time I walk. I suppose this will change once the boot is better molded to my foot. I own Sorels and Uggs and I think these are more comfortable than both of those. Very light. They are more water resistant than the Uggs but not as water proof as my Sorels. They are also not as clunky and bulky as my other boots. I almost wish I never purchased my Uggs and got these instead! They feel pretty warm, but i haven't gotten a chance to wear them below freezing yet... But I'm sure I will. I'm not sure these would be worth full price (120), but i got them on sale for 85. I say if you can get them on sale... Do it.

They are not as cute in person as the picture but over all a good boot. Already used them in snowstorm Nemo and they kept me warm. They cost more than I would normally spend on a pair of winter boots but time will tell if they last me many years they will be worth it.
