Really like these boots but size 7 was too large for my 6 1/2 foot.

I've been eyeing this rain boots. I'm keeping it however I must say the color is more green than hunter green. I always size up with boots, easier to put on and take off. Fit is great.

I am amazed how comfortable these are to walk in. I use Power Steps insoles for plantar fasciitis, and they work beautifully in these boots. With these and my hooded rain jacket, the dog didn’t have to miss out on his walk on a rainy weekend. I usually wear a 7, and these 7s are perfect. (And yes, wear socks. They’re rubber boots, after all.)

Although they felt nice overall I had to return these boots. Walking around house the top rubbing on shins was not going to work for me.

Boots fit great. I have flat wide feet and they are comfortable so far. They were a little difficult to get off. I typically wear a 8.5 but buy a 9 in some shoes due to the width of my feet. I bought a 9 and they are perfect. The purple color is dull but they can be easily styled.

I am usually a 8.5 and sometimes a 9 so I ordered 9, but way big. I think the 8 would be okay, but find the style too chucky for me. Not army boot, but not for me

Wife loves them. A little bummed they didn’t have half sizes but that’s ok. She didn’t mention they bend a little weird around the ankle. They came in real handy for her just 3 days after purchase when our tractor got stuck in the mud.

Much easier to put on and walk in than the tall ones if you’re short (5’3) like me. I’m usually a 7.5 and the 7 was perfect. I have wide feet and the width is great, except for when I try to wear thick socks. Overall overall love them! Just hate the label advertising the brand so blatantly. It’s a pet peeve of mine but I understand some people are into it.

Loved the boots-color, feel, height, and comfortable, the only downside was the footbed was wider than expected. I ordered an 8, same size as my tall red gloss Hunter boots. I wear a 7.5-8 in shoes/boots, but this style was much roomier, my feet are swimming in them. I’m not exchanging them because I’m afraid the 7 will be too short, I’m just wearing thicker socks

Boot is comfortable once you get it on, but I have wide feet and the ankle area of the boot is narrow making it a full blown work out to get them on and off.

I wish boots came in half sizes. Reviews seemed split on whether or not to size up for 1/2 sizes (as did Zappos recommendation based on reviews). I am true 9 1/2. Depending on brand I’ve occasionally had to get a wide, but usually I am a medium. I didn’t want boots that would be tight, & I wanted to be able to wear socks in cold weather. So I got the 10. My toe is nowhere near end. They feel pretty sloppy through the arch & ball of foot. Slip at heel when I walk. But I’m keeping them because if I wear thick/heavy socks (winter weight) they aren’t too bad. I might opt to buy size 9 for wearing in the spring & summer rain storms. With all that said, loose as they are on the ball of my foot, they were harder to get off than I would have expected. I’ve only worn once so far & feet kept dry.

I have not worn these yet, but after being caught in a deluge of rain and having to walk through water to get to work, I bought my first pair of hunter boots. I did not want to spend $150 on boots that I would not be wearing too often, or only once or twice a year, so I opted for the ankle length. Even better, the Aubergine 1 color was also a less expensive option. The color is deep and dark like an eggplant and that is fine by me. I am usually a 7 or 7.5 in most shoes and ordered a 7. I think this was a good choice because with an added layer of socks, they will fit perfectly. Now I'm hoping for rain so that I can test them out.

I had to return these because they were just too big. I normally wear a 7.5 so I ordered up to an 8 and they were huge. Waiting to see if the Size 7s fit better.

Cute wellie, metal hardware a little cheap, but throw these on with jeans and some wool socks and are perfect for gardening or sloshing around in the rain. I’m 5’2”, so grabbed the shorter ones and look better than the tall version. If you’re looking for a staple boot it’s a good buy.

I love these boots. But in reality they need to come in 1/2 sizes. I am a 10 in EVERYTHING. I never have to worry if my shoes/boots fit unless it's some knockoff garbage from overseas. I ordered these Hunter boots in a 10 and my big toe was literally touching the tip of the toebox. I wasn't sure if they would stretch out and I already have problems with my feet so I exchanged them for an 11. The fit is a bit better but it's not exact. I will need thick socks when I wear them. I will say that a 1/2 size larger than my normal 10 would have done the trick. Still, I love the boots. Well made and sturdy, so for the price, they are worth it. Zappos has great, great customer service. The exchange process was the best!!

My first pair of Hunters. Ordered up since no half sizes. Mistake! Ordering the next size down.

I wear a 7.5 or 8. The size 8 was the right length, but felt wide even for my somewhat wide foot.

I need an 11.5 which, in boot sizes, would be a size 12. So, I had to make the size 11 suffice. It fits pretty well except when on the tractor or mower for hours, I do feel my toes pressing uncomfortably against the end of the boot. My heel does not slip much, so the heel, for a boot, is pretty good. Not super-wide like you might expect. I ordered the yellow but returned for the hunter green. The yellow, in my larger size, was just too screaming. I never like labels on the outside of something I wear, so the minus one star for this review is because of the label smacked right on the front, and because they don't make my size. Why stop at 11? Please make a 12, and don't just put a man's boot in the ladies' line. The men's last is much, much too wide.

Great boots but could do better with the coating. Like any other Hunter boots the coating does peel off after wearing for a while. Besides that everything else is great.

I am between sizes (8.5), so I decided to order both an 8 and a 9 from Zappos of these boots based on the other reviews of this item who said they were "huge". (Then I returned the size that didn't work for me since Zappos has such an excellent return policy.) I was worried that by going up to a 9, these boots would swim on me like it did others. The verdict: I went with the 9. It was slightly bigger than I wanted, but not huge. The 8 fit as well, but was a little too snug around the ankle and I had to work to get them off more than the 9. With the size 9, I get a little extra room for comfort and when I wear heavy socks with long pants to tuck in, they are fine. I had LL Bean Wellies just like this for years that they no longer make and that I loved, but my pair finally bit the dust. The new LL Bean Wellies are awful (stiff and couldn't get them off). But, these Hunter Boots are very close to my original Wellies which were easy on/off and durable. I use these mainly to walk my dog in our large unfenced yard. Great for all weather (rain, snow) and during tick season, I like that I can tuck my pants in and not worry if one little bugger climbed onto my pants. So, I will wear these basically every day, several times a day. Four stars instead of five because they are not a perfect. Wish they came in half sizes.

Highest quality rubber and absolutely waterproof. Both functional and fashionable. I've had a tall pink pair for years and I truly trust this brand. When my favorite pair of yellow Tretorn rainboots ripped, I was thrilled to discover short Hunters were offered in yellow. The only downside is that the yellow shown on the site is much more vibrant. I'd almost consider the boots I received as a mustard yellow.

Love the style and look but because of the wide opening the fit was poor. I have thin calves and the top part of the boots were just way too big. I was disappointed since they are such cute boots.

Cute, but they didn't quite fit me like they seem to fit others. I know now that I prefer a shorter boot shaft.

I bought Matte Black and they look great with leggings and my raincoat. I like the short style because the full length Hunters make my leg so hot. (The rubber doesn't breathe) I had tried another brand of boots, but they just didn't come close in terms of comfort and support. These are worth the money, hopefully will last a long time!
