I ordered these boots last week because I have been wanting a pair of rain boots. They definitely seem worth the money based on the quality of them. I am normally a size 11.5-12 so I ordered the 11 as it was the largest size and everyone said they run big. They definitely fit me. My only complaint is that they seem very narrow in the ankle area. I have chicken legs and ankles too so they still fit but its definitely snugger than I'm used to with boots. Overall I still like them and I worry that people with normal or large sized ankles may not be able to get these on.

Love them! Perfect for rain or snow. Wear them with purple wellies and they look adorable! Not a ton of traction but they do the job. Very warm with the wellies - moderate without.

Fit and size was great and i loved them...but had them less then 3 months and my right boot already has tears along the crease and is no longer water-proof. Very disappointed bc i thought i was going to get a long-lasting quality boot. I have another full-length Hunter boot and so far it is holding up.

Like many other people who have purchased the Hunter Original Short Rain Boots, I have athletic calves and ankles that do not play well with most boots. These, however, fit perfectly around my calves, leaving me room for yoga tights and jeans to tuck in. I haven't worn any knee-high socks under those tights or jeans yet, nor am I likely to, but I think the upper portion of the boot would still fit, albeit a little tighter. Though I wear a 9 1/2 size boot normally, I purchased the 9 and couldn't be happier. As for comfort, it is not my intention to walk miles in these boots, but I have worn them for several hours a day while running errands, and I plan on wearing them for an entire day, likely during tailgates and football games when the weather demands. I'm in my late 50s, and I think these rain boots are stylish for younger women or mature women. They are my first pair, and I have a feeling that I'll be getting another pair in another color simply because I can. No, they aren't inexpensive, but sometimes you just have to spend more money to get the product you want and deserve.

These boots are great. I kept walking around saying I felt like royalty wearing these British boots. Just arrived yesterday and I wore them out for dinner because it was raining. The toe space is roomy and the boots don’t have such a clunky look about them. I was able to tuck my pants in and they were a bit snug. So happy to have good looking rain boots.

Best boots ever! Very comfortable, stylish and most importantly dry! Lots of other (cheap) rain boots make your feet feel sweaty if you wear them all day, not Hunters though! I've worn them on light rainy days to days when there is heavy wet snow and they always feel great. One pair isn't enough, I'm keeping an eye out for my second.

These are the most comfortable rain boots I have ever put on! I am normally an 8.5, so I bought an 8. I also bought a fleece welly sock. I was able to put them on with the welly sock and tuck in my jeans.

Love these boots! Your feet will never get wet in these. Highly recommend the fleece socks that go with them; they keep your feet toasty and look cute, too! Best rain boots ever!

Well, I got these for my daughter and when she opened them she was super excited. They are warm and comfortable and she loves them. She turned me onto Zappos. Definitely recommend them.

These boots are adorable! I first bought the Original Tall Hunter boots, but they were too tight on my calves (this is the first boot that I've had a problem with -- my calves aren't even very large). So I exchanged for the Original Short and these are perfect!

The Hunter boots are better than expected, especially with the fleece socks.

I was looking for a rain boot that wouldn't be heavy/bulky and this seems to do the trick. Good boot and nice and comfy.

Love these boots. I wear a size 8 or 8.5 and ordered a size 7, but by mistake they sent me a size 6. I was too lazy to return them. They fit well but will be tight with big socks so 7 would've been better...but great boots overall. I got the purple ones...love the color.

I bought these boots a couple weeks ago and finally had a chance to wear them today. Walked my dogs about 2 miles and they are unbelievably comfortable. No breaking in period. Felt like cushy slippers. I was a little leery about spending so much, but decided to because of the reviews and glad I did! I wore ski socks and folded them over the top as I thought maybe they would rub. Perfect! Also, I did not size up as everyone recommended. I bought a size 8 and they were a tiny bit big, but with thick socks they are perfect. Since I need to walk the dogs in them I didn't want something on the small side for fear of my toes going numb, which has happened in lesser brands. Buy them! You will adore them!

Really cute, and really comfortable. The shoe actually has nice cushioning, especially in the heel. I bought the shorter ones, which I find to be the perfect height.

These boots are fun to wear! They make me smile every time I put them on because it's just like being a little kid splashing through puddles again. Be sure to wear thick, fuzzy, warm and very colorful socks to complete the desired effect.

This runs both a 1/2 size larger and wider than others.

I wear a size 8.5 normally and the 39 is perfect since I wear socks. The foot bed is really soft and it's spacious enough to fit wide feet. The color is great - a little more purple than the picture - but it's cute and easy to coordinate with your outfit.

These made my legs look heavy and short. I ordered my regular size, because I needed to add arch supports, and they fit perfectly. Sad.

Good sturdy rain boot. I normally wear a 7.5-8 and I ordered a 7 which fits. There is a little slipping in the heel which is normal for a boot without zippers.

I love these boots! They have great construction and walking the streets of NY in the rain I am comfortable and dry. Also this is my first purchase with Zappos and it was a wonderful, easy experience.

I love Zappos. I wear somewhere between a 6.5-7, and ordered these in a 7. I tried them on with thick ski socks and they are too big. I called Zappos, and spoke to a great gal who is sending me them in a 6. Simply amazing.

I haven't actually worn these yet, but they were highly recommended. The shaft is wide enough for those with a larger calf and the toe seems to be pretty close to the front of the boot, but the larger size was too big. Overall, they seem like good quality and a comfortable boot. I only need to see how they feel after wearing for a period of time.
