These are a good red color, not too orange-y, matte finish is casual looking. The boots are good for keeping dry and no leaks

I ordered these for my daughter as a Christmas gift! I tried them on and fell in love so I ordered myself a pair. She is 6.5-7 so in ordered her a 7. I think they will for just perfect!

Love these boots. I wear them in rain and snow. They are very comfortable

Boots feel a half size bigger jut not an issue if you plan to layer socks.

I read the reviews and ordered a size 8 ( I am a 7.5) and I am glad I did. These boots are very comfortable and I will be able to wear them with the thick boot socks.

Really liking these boots a lot! I've tried several brands of rain boots over the last year or so and just havent been thrilled with any of them. I tried the tall hunter boots but I felt awkward in them. Too big and bulky. I even tried the short before but was on the fence due to the price. Finally saw these on sale and decided to try again. So glad I did! I am 5'5" and have thin legs and calves and like the subtle look to these shorter boots. I usually wear an 8.5 so tried an 8 and it fits great with some room for a thicker sock. I haven't had them that long so I cant attest to their long term durability but so far they have kept my feet dry in the rain and snow. I had them on with a thin wool sock recently in the snow and my feet were a little cold after a bit so If I was going to wear them in the snow for a lengthy period of time I would have to wear a thicker wool sock or perhaps a liner. I have winter boots so not an issue for me. Definitely happy with these so far!

I am really enjoying this boot. It's a nice color as an alternative to black. I usually wear a size 9 and the 9 fits well with room for a thicker sock.

Love these boots and loved that they were on sale. I am petite and so these fit me perfectly height wise where as the taller boot I'm sure would have been too tall. I also have wide feet and so the fact that these have been running big on people worked in my favor and so they fit perfectly.

Love these boots! I am short and I bought the shorter version which has worked out very well. I gave 4 stars for comfort because I put my own insole in the boot which has made it very comfortable. I don't think you will be disappointed with these boots. Very functional from rainy days to dog walking! You will be happy with this purchase!

I got this for my daughter who is a college student in Seattle, where it rains for the majority of the year. She LOVES the boots because she said it's stylish, comfortable and light on the feet. I got her some Hunter socks to go with it so she can also use it during the winter. The short boots is just perfect height for her 5'2 frame. She wears a size 6 and it fits her perfectly! Would definitely recommend these boots!!!!

Love these boots! Took me awhile to finally get them because they are pretty expensive, but now that I got them I love them and wear them all the time. I really like the hunter green color they go good with jeans. I'm only 5'2" so the taller boots never fit me quite right, they were too tight around my calfs, would squish up by my ankles and then I'd have to have my husband pull them off me because they were so tight. These shorter ones are perfect, they are comfy, warm, easy to slip on and I like how they look better than the taller ones. If you keep going back and forth on buying these I recommend getting them, I've had no complaints and I live in Seattle so we get a lot of rain and they've been the perfect rain boot! Ps: I normally wear a 7 1/2 but they only make whole sizes and the 7 fit perfectly and there even has room for a thick sock.

I needed these good quality rain boots because I've been stuck in flooded roads from hurricanes too many times here in Virginia. I read reviews that said that these boots tend to run large, so I originally ordered an eight. I normally wear an 8 1/2. Thank goodness for Zappos easy return policy because there was no way I could fit into an eight. So I ordered a nine and they fit perfectly. I also have wide calves but they are not a problem at all in these boots. I can wear them with light jeans tucked in or thin pants easily tucked in. They are just rubber boots, so in the winter I plan to wear a boot liners with them. But they will definitely do the job – keeping my lower legs dry!

So far, so good. I have only had these for a few weeks but I am loving them. They were great for out first few days of rain this year. I took another reviewer's advice and put in a pair of Superfeet Insoles. This is the best tip I could've gotten. I tried them on first without the insoles, and can honestly say I would've returned them. The length was correct but my feet were swimming. However, once I put in the Superfeet Insoles, they fit like a glove. These boots are tall enough to keep your pants tucked in, but short enough to not be clunky. I also paired them with some boot cuffs from Zappos to match my outfit. This filled in any gaps between the top of the boot and my pants, without having to wear heavy, thick socks. And, it made them look super cute :-)

Love these boots. I needed something sturdy that would last through the mud and muck of building a house. These are perfect! I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 and I ordered the 7. They are just right...maybe a smidge short if I was trying to wear them all day. But perfect for my use.

Love my short Hunter boots!! I picked the navy color! Looks great with Jeans! It does run half size large but I am planning on putting the sheepskin insoles in it. That will be perfect for our snowy wet days!

These are wonderful! I have debated for a long time over splurging for a pair of Hunter boots and I am so glad I did. They are fashionable, comfortable and warm. If you're searching for a pair of rain boots, look no further!

These short Hunter rain boots are perfect for petites. I bought them for my tween daughter and she loves them. I've also had a taller pair for years, and they hold up so well compared to cheaper rain boots. I do feel they run small, though. For both my pair and my daughter's we sized up. She is a 7-7.5 and got the 8.

Loving these boots. They do run large normally I am a 9 1/2. I ordered size nine and they fit perfect with a trouser sock. the ankle is slightly narrow but I believe it serves a purpose on the overall fit. These are the only shoes I have ever bought online and I am really happy with the style, quality and fit.

These boots are adorable! Love the shorter height and they're surprisingly comfortable and stylish! But, they were a full size larger than regular sizing. I am a size 8, tried and true, in just about every shoe. But these were huge in an 8, had to return for a size 7. But now they fit great!

Chose these over the much cheaper Ugg shorts. They have a nice narrow-looking shape to the toe, which I felt other brands I tried on we're too rounded and looked clunky. I needed the short height because the tall ones were too tight to fit over my foot. These look nice though!

I love these! They are extremely light weight. The rubber is very thin. I had foot surgery a year ago and the LL Bean rain boots I had hugged my foot so tight, they made my foot numb after just minutes of wearing them. These boots feel light as air. And stylish enough I'll wear them all fall and winter! Looking forward to getting the sock inserts. Also, my 3 year old daughter has a pair and we love to match! ??
