I bought these for day-to-day wearing. Totally comfortable. But going down the stairs to a NYC subway, I landed on the inside edge of the front padding and almost slipped. Listen, I know it’s for dance classes like Zumba and I’m using it for everyday walking, errands and walking dogs in the wooded parks, but be careful and step flat-footed when walking on stairs. I’m flat-footed so nice to have the great support in the arch.

I did a lot of research on dance shoes before settling on these shoes. I LOVE to dance - any style - but whatever sneakers I tried on both wooden floors and carpets either didn't let me move or most importantly didn't give me the support I needed for the balls of my feet. These shoes are fantastic!! A bit wierd since there's no arch, but have danced in them for about three days, no pain in the balls of my feet, easy to spin and move on hardwoods for any kind of step. Haven't tried them on carpet yet, but only need carpet because of viral quarantine right now. Other reviews are true in that you need to go at least a size up. I can wear an 8.5 to a 9.5 depending on the shoe and sock. I bought a 10 figuring I could aways wear an extra sock, but that won't be necessary. Always have worn a Medium, but these are a little snug around the top of the shoe. Double knot the laces, as they come undone rather quickly depending on your dance style. So far, very pleased.

I ordered these for ballroom dance practice (not zumba, as it seems a lot of folks are). I wear a size 9 in athletic/running shoes, but a 7.5/8 in the last pair of heeled dance shoes I ordered, so I ordered a few sizes to try out for these shoes and am very glad I did. My big toe rubbed against the outside in the 9s and was right up against the end of the shoe, but going up to the 9.5 gave me about half a thumb's width of clearance between the end of my big toe and the end of the shoe, and enough width in the toe box to feel comfortable. Definitely go up at least a size or a size and half for this shoe!

I FOUND THESE TO BE A LITTLE STIFFER THAN MY USUAL ZUMBA SHOES. SIZE FIT AS MY NORMAL SIZE 5.5 BUT THEY FELT HEAVY. I WILL STICK WITH THE OTHER BRAND THAT WORKS FOR ME MUCH BETTER.

This is my second pair of Capezios, the same model. I bought the first pair to use in my Zumba class. They have been wonderful and are still holding up well, but I use them so much that I now wanted a second pair to alternate. These shoes are so comfortable and decrease the impact, saving my knees. Zappos is great, customer service can't be beat, quick and accurate delivery every time. For me it's the only place to buy shoes.

Great shoe for Samba and contra dancing. I ordered these because they run narrow. For me, they fit true to size as I wear socks with them. I love the support for both the ball of the foot and the heel.

Good dance sneaker--for me, it's line dancing. Offers needed support while also being flexible. As in most dance shoes, ran small....I ordered up 1 size.

Exceptionally lightweight, flexible, good value for price. Ease with order and fast shipping. This is my second pair, and from previous experience, I ordered up a size from 8.5 street shoe, to 9.5. Use for jazz class.

Love them for my Jazzercises dancing. 1 size up from my street shoes was exactly right size. I tried the Blochs dance shoe and did not like it as well as the Capezios which are more streamlined and a little less clunky.

Perfect shoes for ZUMBA. They have made all the difference in how I am able to move on the floor. I bought a half size larger than my usual size . But I have found that in general I have to with shoes made in China.

I love the shoe. Get them a size up regardless of if you have ever worn this size. I ordered half a size up. That did not work. Zappos let me return with no shipping cost and sent a new pair!

Bought this particular shoe over two others for its comfort, particularly width. Based on other reviews I ordered a 7 1/2 and always wear 6 1/2 in street shoes, 7 in athletic shoes. Use for NIA dance class. This class is for bare feet, but I could not continue without the support of this shoe.

Reviewers commented sizing runs small, but a couple added orthotics could be inserted. The toe box is not deep enough to accommodate a thin orthotic unfortunately, so returning. Otherwise, a nice shoe for those without foot issues for dancing. Would like options which are few!

I bought these for my daughter who is an Irish Step Dancer. She loves them. Right out of the box she wore them in a St Patrick's Day parade. 3 miles, dancing the whole way, and feeling good at the end!

Imagine - a stylish, cute workout shoe! These are great. They run small, so order a half size up. I wear a 7 or 7.5 and I had to exchange these for an 8. The arch is fully supported. Since these are actually dance/jazz shoes, they are so much more feminine than my clunky workout shoes.

Great for Zumba Fitness. I love Capezio Rockit Dancesneaker because it's affordable, simple in design (no tacky splashes of color) and the shoe laces allow for a comfortable fit for my feet which have a wide/square toe box and a high "hip." I highly recommend this to dancers of all types!

Half size bigger worked for me. Even though I have issues with my feet --metatarsal joint, weak arches--these are working great in Zumba even without inserts. My feet can flex but there is enough support for me.

I am very pleased with my Capezio shoes. My normal size is 6M and I ordered a 7.5 which turned out to be perfect. These shoes are great for Zumba! Love ordering from Zappos!

I ordered a 5.5 size because that is the size I order in New Balance shoes which run small. This shoe fits me very well when wearing nylon support knee highs, would be too tight with socks. They felt comfortable right away, no breaking in.

I love this shoe. I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally do. When I 1st put them on they seemed tight, but I wore them all afternoon and they felt great. I wore them to a dance excercise class today and they were perfect. Neither my feet or my shins hurt after class as they usually do. The toes are quite slippery on the bottom but the heals grip a little which is good. I highly recommend these shoes!

Capezio Rockit Dance sneaker is a comfortable dance shoe. I use it for a high impact Zumba classes. Very pliable. Very slippery shoe allowing for great movement.

We ordered this shoe half a size up. That is just right. My daughter loves it and says it is very comfortable. She uses them for Irish Dance when she is dancing on a surface that would be damaged by her hard shoes.

Nice shoes but way too small. Maybe a half size or a full size. Also has a funny way that you feel the heel pushing in on the middle of your foot when you jump.

The perfect Zumba shoe! Slides easily, lightweight, flexible, and yet supportive! Trade in your other tennis shoes when you take Zumba, such a difference! I can finally move without sticking to the floor! Yay!

Glad I read the reviews and ordered half a size larger because they are perfect. I use them for Zumba and they are super comfortable. The design isn't stunning but the comfort compensates 100-fold.
