I've noticed that some lines of NB sneakers are coming in a little narrow. So even though I'm a medium width I ordered them in a wide and found that they fit perfectly. I've always loved NB shoes but it's a shame that they seem to not be true-to-size now. So while it's a great shoe at a fair price just be aware that you may want to order it a size wider than you really are.

These are comfortable work shoes. They felt a bit narrow on wide size. I am delivery driver for 10-12 hours a day on concrete, asphalt, grass, dirt, metal grates. I have been wearing these for approximately seven weeks and they still offer plenty of sole/heel support, and feel like sneakers. I ore the Saucony Grid Omni Walker and Brooks Adrenaline Walker before these for approximately eight months. Those were great shoes as well, but they really lasted six months. I am a heel striker; so I look for shoes with solid sole construction. Any shoes that can last more than four months, with my punishment, is a winner.

I have been buying New Balance shoes for some time and have always felt they were a good shoe. This was my first purchase from Zappos and am completley satisfied.

I'm very happy with the shoe. In my job, I'm on my feet anywhere from 6 to 7 hours a day. And they work very well. I transitioned back to these after having worn the MBT shoes over the last three years. And what a surprise I had after purchased the New Balance shoes. What I found was that to my surprise my knees did not hurt anywhere near as bad as they did before and my hip had no pain. As a result of this I would highly recommend buying new balance shoes and I would highly recommend staying away from the MBT shoes because they absolutely do not work as they are advertised.

Very comfortable and you don't have to break them in. The last a long time and I abuse these.

Shoes are comfortable. I havn't been able to work in them yet, but I bet they would do just fine.

So far great shoe, very comfortable, I am a UPS driver and on my feet all day and after a month now no complaints. The One Day shipping from Zappos... Awesome as usual. Might have gotten on half size larger seems a tad little but still fine.

My husband has arthritic feet problems, but usually a 2E will work for him. This shoe was too snug in the width.

Shoes are fine, except they are too narrow. I ordered the exact size of my current New Balance 609s, but they are much narrower.

Very comfortable shoe, but not as durable as I had hoped. Stitching started coming out after a month. Overall I think they are good quality for a reasonable price.

Got this shoe in the brown and the white. Strangely, the white shoe feels just a little narrower than the brown. Still, overall am happy with both pairs. They broke in pretty fast.

Not bad at all. I need a bit more with in the toe box, that would require a shoe with a wider toebox last.

The shoe is comfortable, but needs more arch support. I got very fast service, and will buy from Zappos again.

I've worn various styles of NB shoes for years, and always a 10 Extra Wide size. This particular style was tight across the front part of my foot (just forward of the ball of the foot) and has ridge or seam across that part of the shoe that was biting into the flesh; even through socks.

My previous shoes (bought overpriced at a New Balance store) are now mowing shoes. I bought these at a fair price. I received them in a couple days and they fit fine. There was no noticeable break-in. They are for comfort while running errands though. Don't buy them as a workout shoe.

Good shoes that are true to the fit and comfortable. The only downside: they don't last as long as I would like. For the price though, you can't beat 'em.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes, one at a time. The 1st pair fit like a glove which is great for me as I have a narrow foot and naturally flat feet. I lace them tight for maximum support. Pleased, I ordered another pair. This pair did not fit as well as the 1st and I had to shim for a better fit. I guess you have to be lucky to make out twice. New Balance is still the best fit for me so far.

If you have wide feet, NB is always a good choice. They are comfortable and sturdy. I would love it if they started working in leather but this is the next best thing for casual wear.

After about 1 week to break-in, they are very comfortable while providing great support. Great for people that wear orthotics.

Liked the shoes, look great and fit as expected. Some arch support and comfortable.

An excellent casual sneaker / walking shoe. The sole of the shoe is well sized and shaped, and provides greater stability than a typical walking shoe. I bought this shoe to replace a similar pair that lasted for almost four years.

Not a bad shoe, but the toe box runs small. Tended to cause discomfort when wearing because not enough space around the toe, unfortunately.

This shoe looks nice but you must buy it to feel WONDERFUL out of the box. It will NOT stretch and conform to your foot like other leather shoes. If it feels great at first you will have a great shoe, just don't expect it to soften up and mold to your foot.

The shoe looks great and is of a solid build. However, unlike other NB it is narrower then stated. I've ordered 4E wide NB shoes before and they've always fir great. These pinched. Order a size higher and you will be happy.

This model did not fit as well as my previous New Balance 803s. The first time I wore them to play racquetball I wore thick Wigwam socks and my feet felt cramped. The next time I played I wore thin socks and ended up with a severe bruise of my left toe from making quick stops. I am retiring the 623s from racquetball and will use them for street shoes. I will try to find a better fitting pair for racquetball.
