I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and am healing from a sprain in the other, so I needed a very well-made walking shoe for summer. These are pretty good. My feet don't last all day in these, but are good for walking around for an afternoon or commuting to and from work.

I have very high arches and extremely narrow heels, but with a normal width forefoot (ball-of-foot area). I was amazed that the arch support actually touched my foot -- most shoes have zero support for my high arches! The straps adjust enough to fit my high instep. The toe strap does not cover much of my toes, so it's not too tight on my hammertoes like some sandals. The front of the sandal is a little wide on me but it works; however, the heel/ankle part of the sandal was way too wide for me. No matter how tight I adjusted the straps, the sandal was so wide that my foot just slid off the arch support to the outside edge of the sandal. The length is true-to-size though. I also tried these sandals with my custom orthotics and they might have worked if they hadn't been so wide in the heel. My orthotics looked a little weird but they stayed in place. Overall, I'd recommend giving these a try if you have wide feet, but don't bother if you have narrow feet or narrow heels/ankles!

Love the removable footbed, but too squeaky and short for me. Also not for wide feet.

Great walking shoe. I need to wear a brace on my right foot and this shoe accommodates it well. I love the look of the leather. The shoe does not look clunky on my foot. It has a very nice streamlined look.

My feet are hard to fit: I have thick custom orthotics, a bunion, and very narrow heels. I usually wear a 9M or 9 1/2M. These fit beautifully in 9 1/2. I love the fact that the straps are all adjustable. The split strap in front goes neatly around my bunion instead of rubbing against it as so many sandals do. The removable insole has a high arch, unusual for sandals. Unfortunately, they look rather odd with my orthotics, so I'm sending them back.

One of my most comfortable sandals! The extra padding on the back strap prevent chafing. My orthotics (full length) fit just right though they look a little funny. Only issue/concern is about the sole peeling off fairly easily for such an expensive sandal. No prob though, sallow exchanged as their promise said, no hassles! Love Zappos!

Super comfortable; however, the strap in the back is just too long. I had to cut it down and resew to make it fit.

I loved this shoe but it has invisible stitching all the way around the top of the sole, which hurt my foot. It is going back.

I bought these last summer and loved their great support and looks. But the rubber soles on both shoes are separating. Let the company know so hopefully they will replace them. These shoes are too expensive for such early problems.

I was excited to find sandals that had a foot bed that would come out. I have to wear a lift in one shoe.\r\n\r\nThese were comfortable. I liked the foam foot bed and there were no toe grips for my foot with the lift to get jammed against.\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, the foot bed with the lift would shift as I walked and so I had to keep stopping to readjust. As I got sand in them while I was near the beach, the shifting happened every few mins. I plan to take these to the shoe guy so he can attach the foot bed in the front for me.\r\n\r\nI had bought some Aravon\'s which I liked a lot except they had the toe grips. The lift drives that foot forward and so I get pain on the bottom of my foot. However, the foot bed stays in place with sturdy velcro. \r\n\r\nIf only these two sandals could be combined!

These shoes were comfortable, but I ended up hating them because 1) they squeak horribly and 2) the rubber became unglued on the bottom after I walked on grass that was wet with dew. Not worth the high price tag. But, they are true to size, true to width, and have very good arch support. However, my feet were always tired after wearing these. Dunno. I would not buy them again. I ended up giving them away despite their good points.

The sandal squeaked when I walked in it. The removable sole was shifting as I stepped.

The sandals look very nice, fit well and are comfortable. The problem is that they squeak no matter what surface on which you walk. Tried them on carpet, tile and wood floors several times and the squeak was always there. My husband even said the squeak was annoying to him. Gave them an overall rating of three because they just are not wearable with the squeak. Am really sorry to return them because I loved them as soon as I pulled them out of the box.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe. I walked a lot and they were very comfortable. I really liked the mosaic footbed and they were attractive for being so comfortable but they quickly started looking shabby as the sole is covered with some sort of thin coating that scuffs and peels easily. Back in the US I bought another pair thinking that I might have better luck but the same thing happened quickly. If the manufacturer would make the shoes more durable, I would buy again, but not until. I would happily buy the footbed though to put in another shoe.

Warning! Note the angle of the front shoe form. It is not at 90 degree but an outward 45. This ensures the front will be stubbed while walking and will be worn out easily. The sole will be easily separated and water will get in between. Wasted money!

This is a beautiful sandal, but I am a wide, and although others said it ran wide, it doesn't run wide enough for me.

These are so comfortable and they provide excellent arch support! I have narrow feet and the adjustable strap keeps them snug. These are really high quality shoes. I know that I will live in them this summer. I also have a lot of foot problems and it is difficult to fine comfortable sandals. These fit the bill! They are pretty cute, too.

Super cute colors and goes with everything! Really conforms to my foot, and gives my high arch the support most sandals don't have. Love both straps being Velcro so I can loosen them when my feet swell later in the day. No break-in, just put them on and go with that soft footbed. Don't be fooled by the inexpensive price; these are great sandals.

This is a rave review for my go-to sandal of last summer. I have plantar fasciitis and arthritis in toes and ankles. Finding a comfortable shoe is difficult for me and I've had to use inserts to make most shoes work. With these sandals I didn't need the inserts and they felt good all day. Even after a full summer of wearing the comfort has not diminished and the sandal still looks great.

I love the Sandalistas that were sent to me, but they are too big. I think that a 9M rather than a 91/2M would fit me better. I have checked the email and found that you do not have a 9M in my size. What do I do next?

I have worn these a lot since I got them well over a month ago. They have been comfortable from the first wear. I put these on in the morning, and can wear them all day. I have bunions on both feet, and the adjustable strap is very accommodating. The footbed is soft and supportive. I would definitely buy these again.

I bought these sandals in desperation before a school reunion. Well, it has been two years, and they are still favorites! The footbed is terrific, with good support for my high arches, although you can also easily remove it and substitute your own orthotics. They are adjustable in three dimensions (arch, toe & heel), which I love. The metallic leather finish makes them dressy enough for lots of occasions, and I love how the leather continues down over the outside of the sole, which also adds interest. They are pricey but, they definitely turned out to be worth every penny.

As always Zappos has the best customer service in the world! I work on my feet and I wanted nice looking sandals but they had to be comfortable, I have very high arches and it is hard to find shoes let alone sandals that are comfortable. These are awesome! Expensive but comfy and my feet are worth it!

This is a great shoe in most all respects, comfortable, looks great, fully adjustable straps- even in the back. I used it after ankle surgery because it easily accommodated the ankle air cast which almost no other shoe will do. The only downside is that the leather covering on the sole is very delicate so that the leather covering on the side top edges of the shoe scuffed through the top leather layer very easily. I was only walking indoors and at work due to the surgery recovery yet the scuffing was apparent after only a few weeks of wear. However if you need to accommodate an ankle brace there is no other shoe like this and I bought another pair just for this purpose. With a pair of nice black socks it looks professional enough for the office.

These shoes are near misses for me. First of all, the removable footbed is not flush with the shoe's edge; it is lower, and hard. My toes and heel land on those hard edges. It is really too bad, because the arch support is exceptional! Aetrex, I hope you can fix this in another model.
