My feet are bad. I have had plantar fasciitis before with lots of therapy. When I developed it this time I went to the Dr. and received a very painful cortisone shot with no relief so I decided to try and treat it myself. I bought these shoes and if I wear them faithfully I swear that they have taken it away. I also used a frozen water bottle and rolled my foot on it for about 5 minutes each day. Also, these shoes have a Velcro closure so they fit my narrow foot. Love them!

I have a pair of a similar Aetrex sandals that I wore on a trip to Germany and Turkey. I could walk all day in them, no blisters. So I came home and ordered these for my trip to Italy!

The footbed is so supportive that I didn't need to remove it to put in my custom orthodics.

I am hard to fit, and also need to put an orthotic in my shoe. These sandals have worked just great for me and not only the removable liner for the orthotic, but the 3 Velcro strap options let me adjust the fit just right for my particular feet. I can't comment on the arch support since my orthotics handle that.

Really nice looking and comfortable sandal that accommodates all my foot problems. The split strap neatly goes around the bunions, the footbed is cupped to help stabilize the foot while walking, and the footbed comes out so I can use my own orthotic if I want to - but the footbed itself provides a lot of arch support. Nice non-slip suede-textured lining. Plenty of adjustable straps (strong velcro that does not open under pressure), and even an unobtrusive pad at the back of the heel strap. I ordered the Brown Snake Textured, a shiny taupe leather that felt a bit stiff at first but that softened quickly - and it even looks just a little bit dressy. I'm so happy with it that I've just ordered the same sandal in black. This shoe does not advertise that you have foot problems - it's pretty, non-clunky, easy to walk in, and very comfortable. Bravo Aetrex!

I bought my first pair of these sandals at may podiatrist's office to treat plantar fasciitis. This year, I am getting the brown. I have an 8 1/2WW foot and these fit around my bunion perfectly. I like that I can remove the footbed and put in my custom orthotics.

I bought these sandals for vacation. Haven't gone yet. But have worn them around the house and they seem to fit well and have good arch support.

I have wide feet and have never found a pair of sandals that actually fit around the ball of my foot until these. They are the most comfortable and easy-to-wear sandals ever.

These sandals are very comfortable. I've worn mine with very casual clothes and with country club casuals and liked way these shoes complemented a variety of styles.

I was reluctant to order this sandal because I thought it looked kind of bulky. Turns out it looks great on the foot, not bulky looking at all. It is extremely comfortable and gives terrific support. Every strap is adjustable which is the main reason I gave it a try. I only wish it also came in red. This is my third pair of Aetrex sandals and will not be the last. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who has a hard time finding a good looking, supportive sandal. I cannot say enough about the prompt, quality of service I have experienced in shopping with Zappos. Well done and keep up the good work!

Bought this sandal in a 10.5; as reviewers said it is slightly large. It is pretty cool looking even for an obvious comfort shoe. But it is slightly loose even with the strap as tight as it can go. Would love to order it in a 10 and think that would be perfect, but oddly, 10, does not show as a sizing option, in any of the colors. Might have to return. Too bad, because it is so very comfortable and has a neat feature whereby you can pull out insole and remove gel pads until you remove pressure points for your foot. (It's called Matrix technology I think?)

I have purchased these and walked all through Italy with them. The glue came undone -- returned them. Will not upstand the walking. I really thought they were a great looking sandal. Too bad.

The sandals are super comfortable. They look a little more orthopedic on the foot than I thought in the picture. Nice arch support.

These sandals have great arch support and assist with over pronation. Have them in black, also. Terrific for my plantar fasciitis and tendinitis. I have narrow feet and appreciate the adjustability of the velcro straps.

These are my most comfortable and favorite summer shoe. I have received so many compliments on them too! I can walk 5 miles in them. They are great.

Great sandal! I have plantar fasciitis and these sandals have excellent arch supports which make them extremely comfortable for me. I've worn them all day with all comfort and no pain! I wish they were a bit more stylish, though.

I bought this sandals because I have a high arch and my feet were getting sore from sandals without any arch support. This sandals is extremely comfortable. All the straps are adjustable which is a bonus. The sandals ran true to size.

I'm a teacher with Plantar Fasciitis in both feet. Been looking for comfortable sandals! I have M width feet & these are great...all straps are adjustable (heel strap doesn't tighten quite enough, but it doesn't affect the fit) & arch support is excellent. Walking & on my feet all day and they still feel great!

These are the best sandals I have ever purchased. The arch support is absolutely perfect and I can wear them for hours of walking w/o my plantar fasciitis bothering me at all.

Zappos could not have been easier to deal with, shipping and payment were a breeze and the best part the shoes. I have very sore feet, nerve issues, neuromas and plantar fisciitis (heel pain). These shoes are the only thing I can wear right now, so comfortable.

Very nice sandal, very comfy. I have high arches and it is difficult to find sandals that work for me. These fit great.

The shoes feel great on my high arch. The back strap did not fit properly. I wanted to keep the shoes for the comfort so I cut off the back straps. They look better and stay on without a problem.

I bought these shoes in brown last year, and they have been great. I wear them all the time, which is amazing because I used to not be able to wear shoes without my orthodic inserts. They have a high enough arch and good enough suppport that I can wear them all day! My only (minor) disappointment is that after a year of hard wear, they are looking a little beat-up. The soles are starting to peel a little on the sides.
