Nice boot. Comfortable. The uppers/shaft are really floppy. They sag against my leg. It's the only reason they didn't get 5 stars. But they are really comfortable and I can't feel the uppers at all.

Great boots but they run very big! I wear a 12 & the size 12 I got feels almost 2 sizes too big.

I love these boots. They look great and are really comfortable. The leather is really good quality. The insoles are very supportive and comfortable, beyond what I'd expect from a boot. I would next time heed the reviews and buy a half size smaller because I believe they do run large. I know there's supposed to be a bit of heel slip in a boot like this, but I think with these I'd buy smaller next time. Other than that, fantastic!

Excellent boots! Very comfortable, leather upper soft and supple. Worth ever penny...Easy to wear around the house, buff and wear out in town. Did not need a larger size as some reviewers noted. Order the size you want...

Great boot. Style is awesome. Comfort rating is due to the loose fit in the heel, otherwise very comfortable.

These are rocking boots but they run narrow for me. I had to go to EEE from my normal D but they fit great and are the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn. Slip on/slip off. I stood ankle deep in mud and they cleaned right up with a brush and some saddle soap. I like the softer uppers; not so stiff under your jeans. Buy them, you will love them.

Boot was uber comfortable to wear... boot appears more distressed in photo.Ill break them in and distress them my self. Great boot to wear out or a rock show with the right jeans and shirt. my only hang up was a design on front of shoe ( you cant really see it in the picture unless you look very good) but ill distress that out.That why no 5/5.boot looks like a biker/cowboy boot hybrid.

I read a couple of reviews that said to order a size smaller. They were right. I had to return the first pair - size 15 and exchange for 14. They fit great, feel great, and look great.

I wear size 11 wide, 11.5 wide, and sometimes even size 12. Dress shoes, skates, hiking boots, etc. I've tried on a few western boots and found that I need a 10.5w or 11w in the pull on styles. These boots had to be 9.5w to fit me well. That's 1.5 to 2 full sizes less than my normal shoes! Size aside, these look great. I didn't want a bulky knobby sole but didn't feel brave enough for smooth leather either. And I always love the look of my boots best just before they fall apart, these arrive looking like they've got stories to tell right out of the box.

After reading the reviews I opted to order my true size, an 11. Boots are too big. I am debating whether to just keep them and wear a large sock. I would order a half size smaller than your true size. Nice boot!

My husband farms and this boot looks like it will stand up to constant hard wear. When he can't get 3E width, he has to go a half-size larger. We saw the reviews saying it runs large so, since this only came in 2E, we tried his normal size. It's still too big but he likes it so we're sending it back for a half-size smaller.

Run 1/2 size too big. Great boots, look and feel comfortable, but they run big. Will have to exhange the ones I just got.

Great boot, but after trying 3 different sizes, my husband found that the boot that fit was 2 full sizes smaller than he usually wears, and he had to go with a wide. That said, he loves them now!

The boots arrived yesterday and were, unfortunately, sent back same day. The color and style were precisely as pictured, absolutely beautiful. Size: I had approx one inch of heel slip with regular socks. Not quite enough to kick the boots off, but close. I tried thick socks and that seemed to work, although we shouldn’t have to wear heavy socks in order to fix a non-standard-sized boot. Start with a half-size lower than your actual size—Otherwise I’m afraid you’re in for a grave disappointment. I’m a true 10.5”, medium width (D). I read mixed reviews, many stating this model was true to size, many others stating they were half to whole size larger. Believe the latter and order a half-size smaller than you’d normally purchase. Trust me on this, as I went to a local, western boot store and tried on similar Ariat models to confirm. Every single one of the Ariat’s I tried on fit perfectly with the correct amount of heel slip at a half-size lower than my personal foot measurement. To be sure, I tried 9.5’s, and they were so small that I was unable even to insert my foot at all. One more time: Purchase a half-size lower than your actual size and you’ll save everybody a lot of time and money. These boots are worth the trouble, as the quality, color and finish are precisely what you hoped they’d be. They’re also versatile, as you can wear them with jeans or slacks. They look great with both!
