Strap on right shoe was defective as it did line line up correctly with the buckle which resulted in a noticeable gap when tightened. I had to return.

Love the shoes, but I was disappointed that the toe band broke after only about 4 months of typical summer wear. I've been a life long wearer of birkies and was definitely expecting a longer life span

I am finally writing about the Mayari. I’ve had four pairs of these over the years and every single one breaks at the toe strap, rendering them useless. The only pair I have that have not broken are the full leather ones, which are stiffer and not as comfortable but at least they last more than a year.

My first pair of Mayari were great, but I believe these silver ones are defective. The right shoe fits just as all my other birks fit, but the left puts pressure on my foot at the front strap as though there is a defect in manufacturing. The last pair of birks I ordered online also had something wrong in the manufacturing, really disappointing that the quality has gone down so much. Used to be able to rely on these always fitting as expected right out of the box. Sorry to have to return because I have looked everywhere locally for the silver mayaris.

This totally didn't work for my feet. My heel wouldn't stay in the back of the shoe. Really strange. I have the white mountain version and love them. Think I'll buy those again for $45.

I am disappointed with the Mayari. . The leather feels more like a manmade material, not the like the soft leather Birkenstocks I have been wearing for 40+ years. I have always loved the comfort and longevity of Birkies. But the leather that is now being used - for the Mayari anyway - is nothing like an "oiled leather."

These sandals do not accommodate my bunions on each foot. Sorry!

Normally these sandals last me 2-3 years. This pair in particular had the toe strap snap on me. I primarily just wear them around the house. First time this has happened.

Loved these Birkenstocks for a long time, but for the first time ever, I had a strap break on a pair of Birks. The toe loop simply tore off the attachment point on the insole. The Birko-Flor material just fall apart. I did wear them for a long time, but I've never had a strap failure on a pair of Birkenstocks. Usually the shoe fails only when the sole wears out.

This shoe seemed short to me. I wear a 9 1/2, and my toes were at the very end of the 9-9 1/2. Also, they are very stiff with a hard ridge right behind the toes that hurt with every step I took. These are going to be returned.

As always Birks are comfortable and very supportive. Unfortunately Zappos’ quality has been horrible lately. These had globs of glue all over them and the footbed was damaged. I returned and ordered directly from Birkenstock. I also got oiled leather instead of Birko-flor. I didn’t like those at all. I will not be ordering Birks from Zappos anymore. Too many used and damaged shoes sent. And I mean VERY used! Toe prints and all.

Fit and size were fine. I have purchased numerous pairs of these sandals from Birkenstock. This pair....hard as a rock. They are uncomfortable. I am hoping they will soften with time. Disappointed.

Really wish all Birkenstocks came in narrow size options! These are beautiful, I love the antique lace color, unfortunately I have a narrow foot and these just look ridiculous. The Mayari in narrow sizing fits perfect!

I love these Birkenstocks. They look really cute and are amazingly comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and these are one of the only brands I can wear that make my feet better. Unfortunately, almost exactly one year after buying these, the two strap on one shoe broke. I live in Wisconsin- sandal season is about three months long each year so I’d estimate that I got to wear these for about 4 months. I’m going to try to have them repaired but this is a complete bummer, especially because I had just gotten to a festival when the shoe broke so I had to hobble around all day with one shoe that didn’t work.

I wore them around the house for a couple of hours and they still hurt my feet.

They are hard as a rock they should form to my feet but I don't think I will be able to wear them enough for that to happen. And I ordered regular width they are a little wide I can deal with that. I am so disappointed my fake ones are really comfortable.

I loved these shoes--loved. Sadly, the toe strap on one fell apart after two seasons (I only wear my Birks in the summer and never where they get wet or are abused) and the company doesn't stand behind them, although they were willing to take more of my money for repair. At this price point, you should get way more than two summers out of them. Disappointed in the quality--my old Birks used to last 10+ years--and in the company's response. They know they're selling you sub-par footwear. They don't care.

I've never owned a pair of Birks, so I decided to see what all of the hype is about. I loved the style of the Mayari, but it felt like I had two cement blocks strapped to my feet. Yes, they conformed and provided support, but there is no cushion whatsoever. My feet hurt after just walking around my house in them. I have more comfortable sandals that I paid $30.00 for. I am returning them.

The interior toe strap placement is just worn for my feet. I have been trying to break them in walking in our house. Hasn't worked. They still rub the wrong way.

These were somehow too big and too small at the same time. They were barely wide enough for my feet and the strap wouldn't buckle because it wasn't long enough, but the sole had an extra inch of space at the heel so they looked like clown shoes and I couldn't wear them. It is a shame because I like the style and the cork feels like quite a comfortable material... Birkenstock says their regular width accommodates wide feet but I can say that isn't true - at least not for my feet because if I sized down to make the length fit, the width would be too narrow. But who knows, maybe Birkenstocks just aren't right for my feet.
