I bought my shoes in May and recently noticed that the cork has split at the ball of my foot and is disintegrating. They are really comfortable and I like the way they look but I really expected to be able to wear them more that 3 months at this price. Pretty disappointing.

Not as comfortable as the regular Birkenstocks. The toe rubbed, and my lovely wide feet were going to come off the sole on the pinky toe side.

I usually wear a size 9 medium, but lately all the shoes I've tried to buy are too wide. I ordered these Birkenstock sandals in a 9 narrow. They were almost a full inch too long and very ugly.

First, a little about me: I have duck feet and my arches fall when I stand (but are there when pressure is not applied to the foot, e.g. sitting). I say all of this because this may have something to do with the initial severe discomfort I felt with the shoes in the arch area. Pain for that first week. After breaking them in well by walking the Vegas strip for almost a week, I either got used to the feel of the arch or I actually broke the shoe down. Either way, it's not "heaven," unfortunately. The best thing, however, is the style and my wide feet (wide at the toes) fit perfectly. The straps do not cut into my toes or feet either...though visually I thought there would be problems there. For those that can handle a hard arch, this is for you. Others, you may want to look to a Birkenstock shoe with less arch or try Ahnu shoes.

I have owned many pairs of Birkenstocks but this pair just seemed off. My foot hurt after less than an hour of wearing them around the house. Also the color said "golden brown." It was more of a metallic green color. Returned them.

I really like the feel of these shoes, but the leather is very shiny, much more shiny than it appears on the website. I was looking for a basic durable sandal, and these are a bit too flashy.

Loved the look of this shoe - went with everything and it was super comfortable. I gave it a low mark, however, because the cork began to crack after 3 months of normal wear. I wear Birkenstocks 24/7 and have never had such a problem. I don't know if it's declining quality or if I just got a bad pair. Maybe one day I will try this style again, it was my favorite.

I wanted to like the Mayari more than I did; they just weren't as cute on as I'd hoped. I tried several styles of Birks to see which would work out best for me – normally a size 7- 7.5 with medium/standard width feet...not wide, not narrow. The Mayari in a 36 Narrow fit very well, a slight bit less comfortable than the Arizona; however, the style didn't look nearly as feminine as expected on my feet. I didn't feel confident or like they were stylish enough. Plus, the brown leather looked almost black. Ideally I had wanted a lighter tone, which isn't an option. Finally, the Mayari’s strap that crosses right in front of the ankle made me look less tall, much to my chagrin.

Great stylish and versatile colors (onyx and Moroccan gold) -- but I had to return these. I think Birkenstocks just don't work for me. I overpronate and in spite of the tall arches they make my ankles turn in, because the footbed is designed with a mysterious lump on the outside edge toward the heel. In other words, there is a good arch but the footbed is not balanced or aligned well for an overpronator. In terms of sizing, a 39 narrow was perfect - I am a 40 about 75% of the time and a 39 about 25% of the time. So I guess these run ever so slightly larger than true to size.

I have to return these shoes because, even though I wear a narrow shoe, these are too narrow. Also, the "Silver" is a dark silver grey not a light silver like the picture. I have ordered other Birkenstocks and have been pleased with them. I am exchanging these for a 42 Regular in another color.

I was excited to see Birkenstocks in a narrow width; I'd tried on regular-width Birks before but I just swam in them. The width was perfect for my narrow feet (and the adjustable straps are great), but unfortunately the footbed contours just didn't work for me. I wear an 11 narrow and my toes are really long, but these seem to be cut for more short-toed people! It's a bummer because I was hoping for a less expensive alternative to the Mephistos that fit my feet so well, but I guess I'll just have to keep paying for them!

I’ve had two pair and both pair the strap that goes over the toe has broke. Same right foot so I couldn’t even make a pair of the shoes because I have two left foot shoes.

I loved these and wore them heavily for nearly 1.5 years. Then the toe loop broke. Not the quality I expected, will look into leather instead- I try to be sustainable so vegan shoes sounded great and were super comfortable but replacing shoes annually doesn’t feel super sustainable. Hoping leather will last longer.

I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the make of the sandal, because the shorter strap that crosses over the big toe pulled out - Zappos was wonderful in replacing the pair....but then it happened again with the second pair. For the price of Birks, this should not happen!

I really love them however the footbed is rough on the inner part of the right shoe that rubs my foot. I cannot wear them.

These are great Birkenstocks however I have only had them two years and the strap on the left shoe broke. This is unheard of for Birkenstocks. I have worn Birkenstocks for decades and have pairs that lasted 10+ years. Two years is barely getting started with a pair of Birkenstocks. Very disappointing.

I am disappointed in my purchase of Birkenstock sandals. This is the first time I ordered a pair and I expected a much higher quality sandal. The footbed (which is most of the sandal) is flat, thin, and has no contours to support my foot. I feel as if I am walking on the ground, which for me is not comfortable, hence, why I want to wear a good sandal with arch support and more sole between the sandal and the ground.

Love the sandals but I’ve had the shoes for one month and one of the straps just broke. For the brand and cost. Need these to be replaced

No thanks! These HURT! Isn’t Birkenstock known for comfort? These are my first pair and I dislike them very much. I only put them on the try on and didn’t even walk around my living room and my feet were already hurting. It was like walking on soles of wood. I think they do have arch support but it rubbed on my arch. My feet did look super cute but sadly these just weren’t for me.

I have a small foot and and need the arch support. So I had to go with the children's size in these. But they are very stiff and uncomfortable. I would not want to put my child in these as I am sure they would make blisters.

Me personally did not like these. They are very hard and no cushion. The look and fit were great, just didn't like how hard they are

There is something wrong with right shoe. Does not fit correct.

The size and fit were very good. The leather nice and soft. But the description says a birko floor. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 6 years. I was very disappointed after wearing them to realize these do not feel like a birko floor at all??
