This shoe runs a half-size larger. I like the bronze color so I will exchange for a smaller size.

Definitely appreciate that these are real leather compared to other colors I tried, feel less likely to rub blisters

Even though I'm a solid size 7, these were too big. Unfortunately the next size down was sold out in this color.

To summarize, these ran large and the color was off. Shipping was crazy fast as usual. I normally wear 6.5-7 in shoes, more often size 7. My feet are on the narrow side of average. I have the Arizona's in 37 narrow, and they fit perfect. I ordered these in 37, regular width (didn't have narrow available in this style/leather), and they just felt and looked awkwardly large (too long/wide in the toe area), which made them look boxy and unfeminine. I went to a local shoe store, and tried on size 36, and it was perfect! In addition, I ordered these in tobacco oiled leather, and the ones from Zappos had a weird, sickly greenish tone to them, not the rich warm color I was expecting and had seen previously in stores. When I tried the 36's on in a local store, those shoes did have the warm rich color I was expecting, so I went ahead and purchased them instead of risking the luck-of-the-draw in re-ordering them online. As usual, they aren't super comfortable right out of the box, but I imagine they will be once they are broken in, just as my previous pair of Birks was.

Very cute style! Unfortunately these didn't come in the soft bed foot, so I may return for a different style that does. Size runs large and wide, I'd go down a full size.

The toe ring takes getting used to. My trusty pair of Madrid finally fell apart after 9 years. The toe ring on these sandals rub a bit. I am having a hard time adjusting the buckles for a perfect fit. Just when I thought it was right, the left sandal started making a fart/duck quack sound when I walk.

These run big!

I typically wear a size 9 and these fit perfectly. The leather was too stiff and hurt between my toes.

Arch support was awesome! Unfortunately, the 8-8.5 Regular size was too small for my 8.5W feet. I'm returning to try the 9-9.5 Regulars. Hoping they'll work!

I’m really bummed. I’m a true 8, but must be between Birk sizes. Ordered the 39 and I was sliding around in them no matter how tight I made them. They were too wide. The 38s have my big toe right up along the ridge so it’s really uncomfortable. I was hoping for something out of the box comfortable, so I have to return. Will try a different Birkenstock style.

My problem feet need Birkenstocks and my foot problems have added the need for big toe separation. Unfortunately, Birkenstock leather is always very stiff. It softens eventually, so I'm bending and twisting the leather straps while watching television to make them softer. I have a month before the weather is warm enough here to wear sandals, so I'll check back in if it works. Otherwise I'll need a callous between my toes.The stiff leather is what prevents 5 stars on these for now. Some Vionics are softer, but they don't have straps I can tighten down onto my thin (but wide) flat feet.

I really wanted these to work, but the little loop where you put your big toe wasn’t comfortable. I returned them.

I liked the shoe. However, the color was off and one of the shoes looked like it had gotten water on it. Disappointed with the appearance, but fit was great. I will order another pair and see what shape they arrive in. I had ordered a pair in a size up that had great color and was the exact same shoe otherwise, so I know the color on this one was NOT what it was supposed to be.

Birkenstocks are great for my high arches and the plantar fasciitis pain I get from time to time when I’ve been wearing arch support-less shoes for too long. I love the trendy style of the Mayari and the vanilla shimmer color of the leather straps looks pretty on tan feet for the summer. The toe wrap is a little snug, but not uncomfortable. Very happy with this purchase!

Cute style, narrower heel, x strap causing big toe pain, unsure if I will keep. I have owned MANY pairs of Gizeh Birkies. I buy a new pair every year as I wear them about 11+ months out of the yr. Anyhow, I saw this style and loved the feminine look so I decided to get them. They arrived last night. I have worn them a total of about an hour and have noticed they are a different fit than the Gizeh. The heel feels more narrow. And the x part over the big toe is causing some pain. This makes me so sad because these shoes are adorable. I think that with wear there is a good chance the leather x strap would stretch a bit, but I fear it may not stretch enough. (I normally wear a 9W in all shoes. In Birkies the regular size 39 has always fit me perfectly.) I am torn. I really want to keep them but I am afraid they will continue to hurt. I also bought a pair of Gizeh birkies. This style, as always, perfectly fits my 9W foot. I know from experience that after a couple days birkies break in and become the most comfortable shoe ever. As I stated above, I wear them daily for everything, even walking. Oh- and before I forget let me tell you...if you suffer from Plantar fasciitis - BUY Birkies and wear them everyday. They will heal you and you will become addicted as I am.

I wear an 8.5 normally and in these sandals the 38 is perfect. I just rec'd these but already so many compliments especially from other Birk wearers/lovers. Everyone says they just get better and better as time goes on.

I've been wearing all different styles of Birkenstocks for quite a while, as I have Plantar Fasciatis and these have plenty of arch support and heel support/good heel cup. Was very pleased to see Birkenstock come out with a bit more "feminine" sandal in the Mayari. I usually get my Birks in a narrow, but these fit fine in the regular width. So I would say they run a tad narrow, which is good for ME. Thought the toe ring would bother me but it didn't. These will go with everything. I took off one star because would love to see these made in the soft footbed. These are the regular footbed.

I've had probably 40 pairs of Birkenstocks in my life. (I'm 45 and spent a lot of the nineties managing a Birkenstock store.) I am having more difficulty breaking my this pair of Mayaris than I have any other pair. I bought the black oiled leather and am very happy with the style and quality but the strap that runs across bottom of toes is rubbing on base of last toe. The toe bar is also hitting an odd place on my foot -- I assume because my foot is forced into place by the toe loop. I know that will eventually conform as well. I'm sure the birko-flor versions are a little easier to break in, as Birkenstock has tendency to use thick, stiff leather that eventually becomes super comfortable. If you're having similar issues with leather Mayaris, I found using my hands to manipulate and soften the leather, tightening the straps past how I would normally wear them, and slowly increasing hours I wear them to be helpful. I'm hopeful that by my vacation in August these will be super comfortable. It's just odd, as I never usually have a break in period with birks at all and wear others every day.

Fits great, I wear an 8-1/2 in most shoes and have a wide foot. The size 39 fit perfectly and are very comfortable.

Always Birkenstock knows how to do things well! This model runs wide, so if you have narrow feet this style may not work out. I also noticed that this style runs a little big. Every pair of Birks I own have been 39, and these happen to look almost a whole size too big! I'm not returning them because the extra space comes in handy by the end of the day when the heat has caused my feet to swell. Also, my Titanium has a slight blue hue to it, just FYI.

Absolutely love these shoes. They are the first pair of Birks that I have worn. They have helped my PF tremendously. Do prepare for a break in period. After that, you won't want to take them off. The leather is very soft and comfortable. The only reason I rated these less than a complete 5 overall is the lack of traction on the sole. I would prefer more grip on the bottom of the shoe.

Beware the toe straps on this shoe! I've worn Birks before and have been very pleased -- these are just not comfortable for long walks, primarily because of the toe strap. Fine for running around, shopping,etc., but I'm going to be looking elsewhere for a good walking sandal.

Very good looking on, but need to return for a smaller size. These sandals seemed to run a size larger.

These shoes are typical of Birkenstock shoes. They are very comfortable and my husband even commented on how attractive they make my feet look. I bought these in silver... beautiful!

I also bought this in a narrow size even though I normally am a medium shoe size. This worked out well. Very comfortable and slightly more feminine than the regular Birkenstock.
