Love these so much I wear them almost every day although I switch to a heftier Birkenstock style for winter. I have a high arch and have worn Birkies for years. This order is for my second Mayari pair in a different color so I knew exactly what size to order. There's a similar style that has only one adjustable strap (over the arch). I love those as well.

The Birkenstock Mayari is a great shoe! I've been wearing them practically every day since I've gotten them and I walk a lot (between 4-6 miles/day)!! They are super comfortable and are very supportive. My Rainbows feel really flat now in comparison. It also helps that they look like a normal sandal and are quite cute! I was able to try them on in a store (REI, I think) before ordering them online, so I already knew what size I wanted.

The onyx are a steel blue/grey color with a little shimmer to them. The color is very pretty! The style is pretty feminine for a Birkenstock sandal. They feel pretty comfortable right out of the box. I think the strap around the toe will take a little getting used to, but it doesn't rub in an uncomfortable way. I normally wear a size 9 or 9.5, and the 40 fit perfectly. My feet are on the wider side, but not so wide I require a "wide" shoe, so the regular width is perfect.

Light and comfortable. The antique lace has a slight opalescent quality to it. The thong part is easy to slip into (no hands required).

I love Birkenstock! This sandal is exactly like all of the others I've bought before: true to size, great arch support, and comfortable. This hugs my big toe without making it feel weird. I love the new color styles too.

I purchased this shoe due to the need for more support then a flip flop. I had been experiencing foot pain and this shoe has helped give me the comfort I was looking for. I consistently wear a 9 and occasionally a 9.5 in all other shoes. My husband recommend I get the 39 (8-8.5). I was skeptical but they fit perfectly! I love the style and the fit. Super happy with my purchase and worth the price.

They feel great and don't look nearly as clunky as most Birkies. If you have a doubt about size, use the size you used to be a long time ago. Not necessary to size up to get the width you need.

I have always been a fan of Birkenstock shoes, and after having bunion surgery in February I appreciate their superior support and quality even more. This style is my new favorite!! Offers a snug shoe like fit, but the comfort of sandals. I ordered these in Onyx (only after readings the reviews) and I'm thrilled with the color!! They are nothing like the bluish color pictured. I'd describe them as pewter or a tarnish silver with a more metallic sheen.

Why, oh why, did I wait so long to order these?! It's been 10 years since my last pair. I thought the toe loop would feel weird, but nothing rubs, and they are wonderfully comfortable and supportive...just like a friend. Mayari and I are fast BFF's.

I hate how much I actually love these. I'm a pretty true 6.5 and ordered a 37, they were gigantic so I ended up with a 36 and they're perfect. I was worried that the bands by the toes would hurt but the leather is so smooth that I've had no issues at all. I'm only on day 2 of wearing them and haven't felt like I needed to break them in at all even though I was told and ready to give them a week to do so. Honestly the style is a little eh for me. I prefer the cute girly flat sandals but the comfort is unbeatable so I find it worth it.

As a busy mom of two kids under the age of 5, I need shoes that are comfortable and stylish. These sandals are gorgeous and very comfortable. I usually wear a size 9, so I ordered the regular width in the size 39. They fit perfectly. I have a big "big" toe, and I am so pleased with the look and feel of the sandals. Plus, zappos shipped super fast. Awesome!!!

I bought these sandals for something a little bit different than what I have and they are very comfortable. I also wanted to note that I have had sciatic pain in my left leg and that has gone away since I have started wearing my Birks. I will note that I wear a size 12, sometimes wide depending on the maker and these felt a bit snug. I added an extra hole for the buckle and now they are perfect. I did email Birkenstock and asked them to consider adding size 12 to the women's lineup because ladies with big feet want more options (well at least I do).

Super comfortable, but had to return because they were too big! I'm usually a 6.5 (37), but I had to reorder a size 5.5 (36). But otherwise, the straps were very comfortable and the arch support is great!

I am really enjoying the Mayari sandal straight out of the box. I wear a 7.5 shoe (7 is always too small and an 8 is always too big). After reading many of the reviews, I did order the size 37N rather than the 38 and they fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot but do not usually order narrow. I can't wait to order another pair.

These are very comfy and the "Onyx" color is not black at all, nor as blue as it looks in the picture, but a really pretty kind of metallic slate or dark pewter color. Love it. I am a 7.5 or an 8, 38 or 39, depending on the brand, and am a 38 in these.

These shoes looked like an Army Green color rather than stone, however these shoes are very cute and stay on your feet well. There comfortable and stylish! Love them!

I love my new Birkenstocks! I originally ordered a 6 but needed to return then for a 5. If you have small feet, I would defiantly consider ordering a size smaller than you normally wear.

Love them. I got the Onyx and it's a great grey-blue color with a little sheen to it. Exactly what I was looking for -- casual but not too earthy. I have gold Gizehs and they're my dressy pair so I wanted a casual pair. These are more comfortable than my Gizehs because of the thong, although I think the Gizehs are more stylish. I'm a 7.5-8 and 38 is perfect. Even though I don't have wide feet at all, the regular width is fine with the straps adjusted.

I love, love this shoe, why not give us some colors in it besides just neutral colors; I wear a narrow width and it is so great to find a shoe that fits right out of the box. thanks, but do try to talk them in to some pretty summer colors.

So very happy with this shoe, I've worn it every day this week and it goes with everything! This is exactly what I was looking for, with summer temps here I found it just in time. I started with the Gizeh in blue Birko-flor and I just didn't like how that style looked on my foot, the weird flap of a thong and the plastic toe piece just didn't do it for me. I knew I wanted a pair of Birks (finally) so went back to the drawing board and found the Mayari. I love the adjustable straps as I have a very high instep and arches, so it's nice to be able to loosen it to the perfect tightness, not floppy, but not cutting off my circulation. The shoe is super comfortable, and I wear them to work in a casual office and they are well above a flip flop especially in the oiled leather, which is gorgeous. I usually wear a 9.5 and went with the 40 after reading other reviews, it fits perfectly. I have average width feet I would say, but my toe area is definitely wide and I'm glad I went with the regular width rather than the narrow. Highly recommended!

I get so many compliments on these. Very comfortable. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and find these to be comfortable all day.
