Best boots! I hesitated for a few years because of the price but, now wish I had just bought them. They are really comfortable and so stylish. I usually wear a size 9 but, I ordered an 8 after reading other reviews. They fit perfect with enough room for jeans and socks. Definitely order a size down from your normal shoe size. I ordered the grey.

I have the Hunter boots in green, tall version and love them. I felt the short red would be better for me for work. Usually, I wear a 7.5 and ordered the 7 based on live chat. The fit is perfect , even with the felt liners.

I am very impressed with Zappos. I have never had a problem. The boots arrived the next day and the fit was perfect.

These boots are pretty comfortable, considering they are basically big hunks of shiny rubber with some fabric lining on the inside. I am 5'8" and they come up to my mid calf, nearly the largest part of my calf. I have big calves (we are talking 14" over here) so I was worried they would not fit, but they do with some space to cram my jeans down them or wear them with leg warmers inside the boots and my jeans on the outside. One drawback is that if you do not wear leg warmers, boot socks, or jeans crammed between your legs and the boots around the top edge if you have larger calves you will likely get a friction burn on your legs where the top edge rubs your legs as you walk. Not a problem if you plan to only wear them with one of the Hunter Boot Socks though. I usually wear an 8½ or 9 in most shoes (Sanuks, Toms, New Balance) but an 8 in the Ugg Cardy boots, so I ordered the 9 as recommended by the Hunter website and there is enough space to comfortably wear two pairs of socks or a pair of Hunter Boot Socks and another pair of regular socks. I think size 8 would have been too small, but I also like my shoes on the looser side, so take that advice with a grain of salt.

I love my grey patent rain boots! They are perfect for year round in the south where knee boots would be too hot in the spring. The grey acts as a neutral with a little bit of pizzazz.

I absolutely love these boots! They fit perfect and they keep my feet nice and dry and are so cute! I will definitely buy another pair when they come out with plum again!

After much going back and fourth, I decided on the short gloss boots. I am so glad that I did! I am 5'1" and think that the tall boots would have more than cut off my legs. These run big - I wear a 7½ and went with the 7 and there is room for thick socks. These must be worn with socks, otherwise your foot will flop in it and there is not enough insulation inside. The buckle on the side does not adjust; it is just for show and it comes undone easily but is not a deal breaker.

Love these boots. Hunter boots have been a staple for many years. I particularly like this glossy grey this year. I live in an area of cobblestone and dirt or uneven footpaths. Frequently t's foggy or damp. These are terrific for those conditions but what really makes them indispensable is when they take me right down to the beach. I find that with other types of shoes and boots, I just don't walk on the sand down to the shore. With these on, I have no reluctance and head straight down there. Without them, I begin to miss my beach walks and find that I have to plan well with other footwear, not with these. I am glad they do not offer "arch support" because I cannot stand the feel of anything under my high arches. I frequently wear them with wooly socks.

Took a long time for me to decide to buy pricey Hunter rain boots,but then of course I wanted them immediately! Zappos delivered before the next rains came. My first Zappos experience. Just what I wanted and nicely packed.

After receiving these, it was obvious these boots were well made. Rubber is thick, shiny and boots are comfortable. I believe it's money well spent, that these boots will last a long time. My feet haven't gotten wet yet and don't expect that they will in my lifetime while I am wearing these. I'm in my 50s. I wear these when running the dogs in morning dew or just plain wet ground.

I have always wanted a pair of Hunter boots. I am plus size and was not sure if they would fit! But they fit great with plenty of room for jeans to be tucked in! I love the height of these boots because I do have chubby short legs so these boots are perfect! I usually wear 11 and the 10 is perfect! And they fit with chunky socks on!

Love these. Pure quality. Bought them for the garden, washing the car, et al. Perfect fit; replaced my old Hunters I literally had for decades.

First let me say ZAPPOS customer service is simply the best. After a different retailer order was cancelled (without them letting me know) and no response to my email, i kicked myself for not buying these from Zappos the first time around. When you shop with Zappos, there is never a glitch or issue they cant immediately rectify. I ordered a size 10. I wear 9-9.5 and the 10 leaves plenty of room for thick socks. Boots are super cute on! My only concern is the quality reviews now that they are Imported. I guess I'll find out in a year if these get cracks or lose the straps.

I'm so glad I sized up to an 8 in these even though I read reviews of them running large. They actually run small in my opinion. I usually wear a 7.5-8 in most brands and the 8 in these fits like a 7.5. They're quite snug putting them on but once on they fit well. There's a lot of extra room around my calves but my legs are quite thin. I'm 5'3" and 106lbs. Overall I love the look and height of these boots. The color is slightly more blue than a true grey. I haven't worn them out yet so that's why I didn't give the comfort rating 5 stars, just because I don't have the experience wearing them much yet. I'll also add that they are a bit heavier and more sturdy than I imagined they'd be, with a nice thick sole.

Great color, they did run big. I ordered one half size smaller than I usually wear, they felt a bit big but with socks are good. I ordered a second pair in a size smaller than the first order, just to make sure. They were definitely too small.

I love these rain boots! They are my first pair ever and I found them to be comfortable and not too hot when you wear them. They fit well, too.

Exactly what I was looking for as far as height. I'm 5ft tall so boots typically hit too high at the knee for me. Perfect height for a small frame.

Love the way these boots look. I wear a size 9.5M women's shoe so ordered size 9 based on other reviews; the fit is fine with room for socks. Very much looking forward to wearing them & showing them off.

I love these boots! The graphite color is neutral and matches everything. The short boots are a much better fit for me, the tall boots were too tight over my calves and came up too high. The short hit mid calf and I have room for clothes and socks. I'm athletic build and have had 3 children so my body type is average and these fit perfect.

I am so in love! I ordered these late Saturday and had the option of 1 business day shipping. They arrived early yesterday. And just my luck, it was raining. I don't think I've ever been happier to receive an item from Zappos. These Hunter rain boots are great! I ordered my regular 7 and I love the fit. There is plenty of room to have on a thicker sock. I'm on the shorter side, 5'1, and have tried on the taller hunters. But let me tell you, these are perfect for us petite gals. You won't be sorry if you invest in these. I got the moss color and they are going to match just about everything. Can't wait to wear these again! Thank you Zappos for your amazing service.
