I have had these for a year now, and they are totally worn out (I guess to be expected). I did hope they'd wear a little better though. The sole wears very quickly and is not very thick and gets down to foam rubber too soon. They should have gone with vibram soles.

They fit perfectly, and I figured they would as this is my second pair of Vasque shoes. I like the casual hiking/sporting look. They're also extremely comfortable. No complaints.

This is my 3rd pair... I volunteer in Glacier NP and Yellowstone NP... I hike daily... These shoes are great... not too heavy, good foot bed.. good support

My son (size 14) and I have both had several pairs of these Juxt now. We both wear them every day. He is in college and walks or rides his bike every where he goes. I am a Realtor and a builder, therefore I am on the job site a lot. We cannot wear these shoes out. I buy us both a new pair at least once a year just so the look new again, but I never throw the old ones out because I can still get a lot of miles around the garden and yard. I absolutely recommend these for everyday wear. Just a point of note, straight out of the box, these things fit like a glove, no break in period. Further, just to show how much we believe in them, and how great of a company Zappos is, my son was leaving for a two week band camp. I decided he needed a new pair his were showing a little more age than mine. I ordered them a little late and he did not get them before he left, they were to be delivered the day he left. I contacted Zappos and they re-routed the shoes to him in another state. He got the shoes the second day of the camp and has worn them every day with no break in. Yep, Vasque, Juxt and Zappos have my business for life.

We were going on vacation and expected to do a lot of walking, so I was looking for a shoe that was comfortable standing and walking in for up to 8-10 hours a day. This shoe definitely fit the bill. For the most part I liked the styling as a walking shoe. It's certainly no regular everyday shoe in that regard. But the biggest tell was the comfort. In most shoes standing for that length of time my back and shoulders get achy. This certainly wasn't the case. The fit was right on and the comfort level was off the chart. If you are looking for something where walking and standing for a length of time is an issue and you are not into big style, this is your shoe.

First off... Size 14 shoe size...narrow foot and flat feet. Shoes and I don't always get along, but I'm very impressed by this shoe. I put commercial arch supports in all my shoes, so I can't really weigh in on the arch support (though my first wearing without additional support was pretty darn good). The width was perfect, and size 14 was right on for my feet. They are relatively light weight, a bonus, as I wear them to work most days, and use for light hiking. I only wish they were waterproof, but am very happy with this purchase.

This is the third pair of Vasque Juxt's that I have bought. So, yes, I clearly love the shoe. It grips nicely going up and downhill and the heel doesn't slip. My feet are on the narrow side and that seems to work well with the design. I've hiked many miles using these shoes and I don't have any other hiking shoe that I use. But the reason I'm buying my third pair is because they only last 2 or 3 seasons, at best. The stitching starts to become loose after that and the shoes need to be replaced. I'll keep buying them since I like the comfort and fit so much, but I wish they could make a sturdier shoe that would last longer.

I bought this shoe in a 14 narrow. I am very hard to fit and this shoe works for me. I am going to buy another pair for when these wear out. I wear these every day and after 3 weeks I think I will get a lot of wear out of them.

I liked these a lot, right off the bat. Very comfortable fit, even for my size 14 feet. I usually put a second-party arch support in, and even with that they were great to wear. However, I am returning them after owning for only a few months, as the back end of the heel wears out very quickly if you walk on rough terrain. Walking on my roads means walking on gravel, and although the front half of the shoe held up very well, the heel area (made of different material than the rest of the shoe) became worn out and "gummy" (pebbles would lodge in it and need to be removed). I'm hoping to get a refund.

I’ve had mine for easily more than 4 years. Personally, I found and continue to fine them exceptionally comfortable and very well made. While I respect the 4 star average, I find that very surprising. When the time comes, I’ll buy another pair.

Best low top hiking shoe ive had. I’ve had several pair of merrell’s and I can’t get them to last more that 6 months before the sole starts to separate. I’ve been wearing the juxt for a year now and I wear them often 4 days a week usually, the heel still looks new, no rips the the threading. I wear them to work, hiking, park trips with the kids, working in the yard. I think they are great. I found they fit true to size. They are a little narrow, but so are my feet so they fit me well.

These are my go to hiking and work boots. They broke in fast, are extremely rugged and have been comfortable in every terrain.

I hiked the 25 mile rim to rim hike at the Grand Canyon on these two days after I got them. They were great. Fit was spot on. Cushioning was just right for the hike. Feet felt good after. No hot spots. Will definitely buy another pair.

I wear a size 15 so shoes are normally either too bug or too tight and these are near perfect size wise and very comfortable. For the size they are impressively lightweight. Joshua

I bought these for my boyfriend who, up until these shoes, ONLY EVER wore Van’s. He was reluctant to try them, but after he put them on, was converted. He LOVES these shoes. They’re lightweight but tough; we live on a farm, so he needs a durable shoe. He says his feet feel like they’re in safe beds. :-) A WAAAAY better shoe!

I have purchased Vasque merchandise before and been very pleased. These shoes live up to all of my expectations.

I wore out my first pair of Juxt after 8 years of casual hiking. I just bought a new pair and they're identical to the old pair. I find them to be very stable, especially when walking over boulders, large rocks and other uneven surfaces.

I’ve had the Juxt for the last several years and while some have been somewhat critical of the shoe, I’m very happy with mine. I’ve found them exceedingly comfortable and would wear them in any casual setting. Quite honestly I like the shoe.

Fit fantastic, comfortable immediately. Not the coolest looking shoe around, but they are meant to take on the trail so that doesn't matter much to me. I could tell the build quality is high immediately, great hike boot option!

Love this shoe! Good for everyday wear as well as trail hiking. I am an overpronator, but these keep my arches happy. I am actually on my 5th pair of these in 10 years and will keep buying them as long as Vasque keeps making them!

This is my second pair of Vasque Juxt. I'm glad they still make them, my first pair must be 5 or 6 years old and just starting to show their age. Although they break in very quickly, they are completely bulletproof, my old pair is going strong after years of abuse. These are my go to travel shoes, they can handle airports as well as scrambling over boulders at Joshua Tree. They look a little nicer than typical athletic shoes and are great with jeans or shorts. Depending on how casual your office is you might be able to get away with these in a pinch on casual Friday. I find them very comfortable and even though I have very big, high volume, feet this shoe fits me perfectly. I prefer curved last shoes, this feels great, but looks very straight. The toe box, while reported small seems adequate to me. I think this is an amazing shoe for under $120.00 & Zappos delivered them to my house in less than 24 hours after ordering. Amazing!
