I thought I finally found the perfect flat. Simple leather with arch support. Very cute. Then the ratings went down fast. They take a bit to break in. Ouch! After wearing them half a dozen times, they were finally getting comfortable. It was then that I noticed that the leather at the heel was rubbing the ground and falling apart! Poor design. At this price, I expected more. Not worth it! The search for a great ballet flat continues.

These shoes are great! So comfy and cute with skinny jeans. Great office shoes, too. I got a 9.5, and they fit just right. Highly recommend!

These shoes are super comfy, offering support like no other ballet flat - and I love the styling! I read other reviews suggesting they run small and ordered up a half size. Had to return and buy my standard size. My advice: order your regular size. By the way, I wound up buying 3 pair!

I loved these shoes when I first got them. They're very comfortable. I wore them every day on a recent trip to Paris and didn't get one blister! Unfortunately, the stitching in the right heel has come undone, and the shoe is falling apart. This is disappointing since I've had the shoes for less than a year. In all, it's a comfortable shoe that I wish had held up better.

These are well made shoes with good support for flats. Unfortunately I had to send them back because my big toes turn up and there was not sufficient height in the toe box to allow for a comfortable fit. The Cole Haan Air Bacara was a better fit for me because it was not as stiff (but also not as supportive).

Love these flats! I could wear them all day and often do. Wish they came in red. True to size and worth every penny. I have had a gold pair for three years that still look and feel great.

Looks like this will be my perfect ballet flat. Great fit, and looks like it's going to have that great Born comfort. Just need it to stop being so rainy and cold in Seattle so I can wear them. I'm going to be watching for more colors!

These shoes fulfill just what I was looking for in a little black flat. They are hearty and comfortable yet very stylish. Neither my feet nor my fashion feel compromised - these shoes achieve that difficult balance!

They are really sturdy for ballet flats. It took a few days to break them in, but I love them!

These shoes are really great. They were comfortable the second I put them on. No need to break them in. I really have only one complaint about them; they kind of squeak when I walk. Most of the time I'm not wearing socks, which is probably the culprit. They're a pretty conservative shoe (i.e. no toe cleavage) but are really comfortable.

These shoes are fabulous! I was unsure when I ordered them based on all the reviews being wishy-washy, but they are so comfortable and fit perfectly! I can wear an 8 1/2 or a 9, depending on the shoe, but have recently started always ordering a 9 and putting those sticky pads in the heel to make them fit snugly. The color on the black is perfect for skinny jeans and my skinny black cords for this season. I'm done with cheap shoes, and sometimes it's hard to find trendy shoes that are also comfy; these are though. They're a flattering shape on the foot and so comfortable. I have always hated the way my foot looks like a boat in flats, but there's something about this shoe that doesn't make my foot look wide. The shoe is just awesome, I can't say enough good things about it. The last pair of Born shoes I owned, I had to just make myself throw away one day because I kept them too long, and they were just gross from two years of everyday wear.... I can already tell these will be the same way :)

One of the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. Comfortable out of the box. The heel has a nice amount of bounce for a ballet flat. Very cute shoes. Perfect!

When this shoe first arrived I thought it was way too small. I wear a 6½ in Born shoes and these were so tight. However, after a few, painful, wears and really working to break them in they are now the most comfortable shoes I own. I would recommend these shoes to anyone!

Bought these to replace some beloved Clark flats. These are beautiful shoes but the material on the upper is not leather and is a bit inflexible so the top of my big toes rub the shoe which is a little uncomfortable. Hopefully as I wear them this will go away. As with any Born, the foot bed is amazing and these feel like slippers. They also have a non-slip sole which workds well for me.

The color is just as it looks in the photos (Red Linen) and is more of an orange color scheme. Like one of the reviewers stated before me, I also have the issue of the front of the shoe hitting my first toe. I guess the toe box isn't large enough in that particular spot. Other than that, I really like the shoes. They are comfortable and light. Expensive but worth the price. Thank you Zappos...I've been shopping with you for 8 years and I have never been disappointed!

At first, uncomfortable. But a few days of working in these shoes, and I am in love. Really great, comfortable flat. The most comfortable flat I have ever worn. Just make sure you give it time to soften up on your feet.

Too small! Ordered a 1/2 size larger than I wear and it is still a bit too short and pushes down on my big toe. Very cute and footbed felt comfy.

I got these shoes and I love them. I ordered my usual Born size of 10, even though I usually wear 9-9.5 in other shoes. Borns have always run small on me. They fit like a glove and no rubbing at the heel or toes. Love them and will probably purchase another color very soon.

Cute shoe! Love the simple lines and the stitching around the bottom. Silver/black color is great! One weird thing about the shoe is that my toenails (that I keep short) rub the top of the shoe. Hoping as they break in that will go away! Born seem to rus a bit small so I always order a half size up.

A gorgeous, comfortable flat. I did have a tiny bit of pressure on my big toe in size 8, but not enough to change size or return. Buttery soft leather - a great value.

Love these flats! I've been wearing them nearly nonstop since I took them out of the box. They're the first flats I've bought in years that aren't totally confining in the toe area (I have a somewhat wide forefoot). Thankfully, they're still narrow enough at the heel to stay on without any trouble. I love that they're pillowy soft, to the point that I almost feel like I'm wearing slippers. The color/texture on these is really fun -- an olive/taupe suede with a shiny overlay in a mini giraffe print. One caveat: The split sole is comfortable to walk in, but I wonder how it will wear over time.

Nevermind. I wore these around the house for another several hours, and my feet started to kill!

These shoes were super cute but just too big! I would probably get a half size smaller. Color is very pretty and just like the photo.
