I LOVE these shoes. They were comfortable from the second I put them on and are so nice looking. I get compliments on them, even in my size 11! There's a split sole, which seems to contribute to the comfort. Great for jeans, leggings, everything!

I absolutely love these shoes! The color is beautiful and they are very comfortable. I am on my feet most of the day, and not only are these attractive on my feet, but my feet don't hurt at the end of the day.

I have not worn these shoes much yet due to persistently cold weather, but they seem well-made and true to size. I love the cracked gold color. It’s not a plain black or brown (which I may also order), but it’s not too fake-flashy. Born makes a nice shoe, what can I say?

These are must have flats. You can dress them up or down. They look great with skinny jeans. Love them.

Love these! I wear them on stage, out on the town, and every day. They are comfy and beautiful, classic and stylish. Just a hint of shimmer keeps them natural but special.

I ordered the Born Stowaway in Nero Veg, and they were everything I hoped they would be. The leather is soft and comfortable out of the box, and they seem to fit true to size (I wear a 9.5). The cut of the shoes felt neither too high nor too low, and there was no odd gapping when I walked. And as always, the service from Zappos was impeccable. Placed the order Monday night, and they were delivered Tuesday afternoon!

Love these shoes! They are very soft supple leather inside and out very simple, elegant, they do not cut across the top or hit in the back. Very true to size. Came with a very cute makeup bag (no that last photo was not a mistake, just a little extra bonus). They go with everything and passed a trial by fire - a 1 mile walk around the neighborhood pushing a toddler in a Step 2 car came home and there wasn’t a single red mark on my feet. I bought two more styles of Born flats Adele in brown and Peony in salt after I received these. Hope this helps, because these are worth owning.

Perfectly adorable ballet flats to wear this Spring with cropped skinnies and twinsets. Quality is excellent, but are without a doubt at least 1/2 too large. I have reordered the turquoise suede in a half size smaller. I think these are so cute I wanted the pink pair also, but my size (6.5) was not available. There is no toe cleavage with these, which disappointed me a little, but the colors make up for that.

I've been looking for a pair of black, plain flats forever, and this pair looked like it would be it. and it almost was. the leather is so soft, and it doesn't dig into your instep, but the toebox is so narrow. I also have a pair of born molly that is the same size as Stowaway, but this is at least half a size narrower in the toe area. unfortunately they are going back, again!

This is a very polished an nice looking ballet flat. I gave it 4 stars because it is a very stiff upper which gave me some trouble due to the width of the toe box. Interestingly, the stiffness does not cause problems for me in the heel, but just makes the shoe feel more spare, less cushioning overall.

Finally! I have been looking for a super comfortable ballet flat for my trip to Europe, and the Born Stowaway wins the prize. Lightweight, comfy padding with a bit of support, and it doesn't slip off or pinch my heel like so many others. Ordered a 9.5 (1/2 size up from normal) and it fits perfectly.

Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. The gold is a soft gold and very pretty; a good looking shoe. As for comfort, I've worn them maybe a dozen times now and they are acceptable. I had issues with the right shoe heel for the first couple of wears, but now it's fine. They are not comfortable enough to do an all day shopping exursion but are nice for running casual errands and for hanging out. Good cushion on the sole of foot.

These shoes are very beautiful and seem like they are well made, but they pinch a little when walking in them on the first day. I may have to stop and pick up some bandaids at CVS.

The bronze is very practical color. These fit my wide toes and narrow heel well, but are too loose around the middle of my foot.

Quite disappointed in the fit. I ordered a 6.5 because I have Born's summer version of this shoe in that size. It arrived and although I loved the look, it was way too small. So called Zappos (amazing customer service) and had it exchanged for a 7 (which I normally wear 95% if the time). I kept this shoe thinking it would be perfect. I've worn it around town for a couple weeks now but can't keep it on longer than an hour or two. I get terrible blisters from the shoe being too small. I think a 7.5 would be better but I've already worn them outside. Oh well, now I know that Born's sizes are not consistent. Buyer beware.

I needed AA in this and it was not available. The B was too wide for me. They are going back.

Cute, but totally cut into the top of my foot. Also, I usually wear a 9.5W and even the 10W was too snug. Nice quality, though - I'm sad to have to send them back.

I have to admit I was more than a little disappointed when I received this shoe in the mail. I was looking for a flat with arch support that I could wear through the cobbled streets of Italy. These didn't work out so well. There is little to no support in the arch. They fit really loosely and are very wide. Normally, I love Born shoes and have owned many pairs in the past. While these are really cute, they just don't have the same comfort level as other Borns I have worn.

I had to order a few sizes because they ended running smaller than I thought. In the process I noticed that each pair was slightly different. Some had a very large, almost crater-like, crinkle effect, whereas others were more subtle. Regardless I found a size that worked and the texture was good enough for my purposes.

True to size and very comfortable. The color is a versatile matte black with a bit of texture. Concerned about how it will wear because the heel is narrower than the bottom of the shoe.

I purchased these flats in both black vegan and pink suede. They are definitely comfortable for ballet flats and have a decent amount of support! For some reason, the pink suede is much more comfortable than the black -- probably because the suede has more give than the synthetic product used for the black shoe. I have somewhat wide feet, and these flats fit well.

Good looking, solid construction. The suede is pretty, in pink, in this case. Spots and stains easily. Some arch support and a bit roomy, maybe 1/4 size too big.

Runs a full size too big! I ordered my usual Born size 8 and would have exchanged for a 7, but that was not available. Otherwise, very comfortable.

Cute and comfortable, but a little too loose.

I got the Champagne Metallic version of this shoe and it's totally adorable, but a little uncomfortable. This may change as I wear them. I hope it does as these would be a perfect dress down/dress up option.
