I am so very very very disappointed in this Chaco sandal. I had a pair of chacos for almost 20 years in solid black with the toe strap and no back strap. It was a single webbing not the double. They finally after all these years literally fell about, so I was sort of excited to get a new “prettier” pair with the delicate double strapping and decorative webbing. Boy, what a failure. I ordered a six which is the same size as my original pair and my heel hits too close to the back. Because of the double webbing it makes it much more difficult to adjust the size and to skip them on with no hands. Too much fussing around has to be done. I have searched here and the chacos website directly and it seems they just don’t make the original that I had. It is a very sad day for me. Perhaps others will like them if they have nothing superior to compare them to but I am returning and will probably try and speak with customer service at chacos. I would even consider having a pair custom made if they could make them to the exact specifications as my originals. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. What is wrong with companies these days!!

Straps way too complicated and needed adjustment each time I put the sandals on. Ended up giving these to a friend.
