The perfect sandal! Last forever, can be used everywhere, nothing will happen to it. The whole family wears Keens.

I’ve never had cause to rave about shoes or sandals, but this one is worthy of it. I bought it because it protects the toes. Some stores or restaurants won’t let you in wearing open-toed footwear. Not only that, but if you are in the water or hiking, a closed-toe sandal is ideal for protection. The Keen Kanyon is just that. It’s VERY comfortable and airy, so your feet are always cool and dry. It looks great as well! And most importantly, the inner material that makes contact with your skin isn’t abrasive, so you won’t get blistering injuries from it. You can wear matching-color socks with these and make it look like full-coverage shoes. It’s perfect for hiking near water, so you can get your feet and sandals wet. I would definitely buy a second pair if they’re available next year!

I have used this sandal for around the campsite as well as around the house and for general outdoor walking. I have not used it for hiking or rough terrain. It is very comfortable; much better than I expected. I can wear them all day without getting tired feet.

These were a gift from my daughters for our family trip to Disney World. I would normally wear a running shoe for something like this; I do not wear sandals, but because I was given these I felt I needed to wear them. They were comfortable keeping my feet cool. But for all day on my feet events I would go back to my running shoes, but will wear them for other summer casual non-active events. They can be adjusted so they fit well. I think they run on the big side so order the smaller shoe size you wear ie. I wear from 9.5 to 10.5 and would order these in 9.5. Service form Zappos is the best I have had with any company! They are great!

No happy with shoe. I wanted to order an all around shoe I could wear in or out of water, it had poor support not comfortable to wear. This shoe I really wanted was out of stock and this was a second choice. I wore them once and threw them in the garbage can, save your money on this shoe!

This sandal fits great (I can even run short distances in it) but as an enclosed sandal with some fabric, it will smell if it gets wet! You can throw it in the washing machine easily, but I was hoping for something low maintenance.

These sandals are comfortable and lightweight. I don't like the design around the toes; there is a stylized hole that allows my second smallest toe to pass through occasionally which feels weird. The sole is a little rough which required a little break in period that made the bottom of my feet a bit sore.

I was a fan after the first summer I had them, but the entire heel section just pulled out of the footbed, so I can't recommend them. For reference, I wore them probably 50 times for 1-2 hour periods. They were a replacement for a similar product from Teva that had much superior sole traction on wet surfaces, but fell apart almost immediately (constructed with glue in some places).

Unfortunately, this shoe has very little traction. And the size was odd. 8 1/2 is the correct size but foot was hanging off the back while there was a still quite a bit of room at the toe.

I could not keep this shoe. The inner curve of the shoe towards the big tow had almost a full finger's width of unfilled space. I am not sure who has a foot that curves in like that. The shoe also rubbed uncomfortably around the heel.

Took a few days of walking around to break-in and be comfortable, then a little while longer to get used to the elastic pull-thingie that keeps the shoe snug. After that, these are my favorite shoes in a long while. They've won me over from my previously favorite Tevas. (By the way -- very flat feet here. They don't cause arch blisters.)

Great hiking shoe. All members of my family enjoy them. These great sandals have enjoyed every national park. We like the covered toes aspect.

These are great shoe for times when you need grip, yet will be both wet and dry. They are good for casual wear also; but I used for beach jogging and also for canyon exploring out west. With these on, you can get wet and keep moving. They are fast drying, too.

I bought these for my husband as one of his birthday gifts. He blew out a beautiful pair of leather flip flops last summer, getting stuck in a muddy part of the lake. I thought these would be better suited for that kind of wear! AND HE LOVES THEM! He put them right on and has been wearing them ever since :)

Bought these for a backpacking trip that involved multiple stream crossings in the mountains of New Mexico. I wear a 14 or 15 and am hard to fit. I was leery of wearing sandals backpacking, so I got them a few days early and tried them on a local mountain hike. They did great (except when I bumped the back of my foot on a big rock as I came down the mountain). They worked much better for the backpack than I expected. I did get gravel and small rocks in them, but I could also wash it out pretty well as I moved through the stream. They are quite comfortable, although the sole is not as supportive as one of the Tevas I tried. I went with the Keens because they fit better and were reportedly more waterproof. We walked many miles on the trip with a relatively heavy pack (35 pounds) so I thought they performed well. They are truly waterproof as well. I wear them more than my surfer sandals around town because they protect my feet better, although they do get hot and sweaty in the desert climate where I live.

Best fitting sandals I have every purchased. No hot spots, perfect fit, very comfortable. They are worth the expense. I'll go with Keen again.

Excellent shoe. Handled water quite well. Only problem with hiking in sandles is that in places with many small pebbles, the rocks get under your foot. But if you are going in and out of water, or you like the freedom of the sandle, the airiness and strong support of this sandle is excellent.

First strap on inside side of sandal cuts into the arch of my foot uncomfortably. I must add I have 'flat feet' so this may be only for me. Otherwise I love the look and feel of this sandal. Sadly I had to return it. I will try the Venice which is said to be wider and has a slightly different strap configuration.

Beautiful design, perfect fit, and very comfortable. They would be easier to get on my feat if the the rear strap (that wraps around the back of the ankle) was stretchy, but overall, I'm very pleased.

I bought a pair of Keen Kanyon\'s about a month ago and have been wearing them pretty much every day since then. I live in the desert and between the high temperatures and thorny, rocky ground surfaces, the Kanyon\'s have proven to be fantastic shoes. The footbed is very comfortable, and the capped toe is great. I bike everywhere and unlike some sandal designs, these are great for riding. The Kanyon\'s are my second pair of Keen\'s and so far I have been extremely impressed with both the form and function of their products. It\'s not something I care about that much, but people are always commenting on my Kanyon\'s, which I guess is understandable since they are good looking shoes. Highly recommend Keen and the Kanyon.

Zappos is the first place I go to buy shoes on-line. On the rare occasions that I\'ve had to return shoes, they\'ve made it virtually painless. Their customer service reps are all adorable, and work VERY hard - all the time! Thanks, Zappos, from a very satisfied customer.

I have worn the Kanyon sandals approximately 6 weeks and have found them to be very comfortable and durable. They still look like new even though I wear them almost every day including on my 3/4 mile dog walks. I ordered size 10 even though I typically wear a size 10 1/2 because of a previous review which stated that they run a little large for the stated size. I agree.

The product was exactly as advertised, shipping expedient, return for exchange for a different size prompt, therefore, great service which is what distinguishes one seller from another. Zappos is a perfect combination of fine products and wonderful service.
