This is the second time I have bought these shoes. They are the best walking/workout shoe for my wide, flat foot. They have great arch support with lots of heel comfort. I had been suffering from plantar fasciitis and these shoes help so much. I was able to walk around San Francisco and New York without any terrible foot pain. I will continue to buy this shoe!

The best sneakers I\'ve ever owned. Corrected the instability that I didn\'t realize was affecting me so badly. I\'m able to do aerobics classes, jog, walk, and other physical activities from a solid base and I\'ve seen immediate improvement. In the past, I was discouraged because I used to struggle so hard just to maintain proper form. Highly recommend trying these shoes if you have had similar experiences. So grateful to Zappos for the search capabilities that helped me to locate them, never would have found them in a store and understood how different they were from other shoes available.

This is my second pair of this style. Love the support and especially the cushioning in the heel. Great for those with heel spurs. Zappos customer service is the best!

This is the first time I have ever left a review. These are the best shoes I have ever bought. I have a ruptured tibia tendon and have pain in my right foot with every step I take. Sometimes it is extreme. These shoes have made it so I can walk without pain.

I love these shoes. I have a heel spur and wear orthotics and these shoes wear great. They have a nice well cushioned and stable bottom.

These shoes are highly recommended by my Orthopedist. All New Balance shoe styles with model numbers over 1000 are the best daily use shoes for orthotics. My foot and ankle pain is almost completely gone because of these shoes. They are way cheaper and better looking than regular orthopedic shoes!

After ordering several shoes I found the New B. WR1012 to be the best for my orthotics. The toe is boxy enough to where it does not rub on my hammer toe. The soles are not squishy however they are great for people with knee problems. My knees feel much better since I have started wearing this shoe.

Wonderful shoe! Well worth the money. I've been dealing with knee issues for almost 20 years and have tried numerous different shoes and orthotics. While my knee pain isn't gone, my knee feels so much more stable in these shoes. I pronate, so the stabilizing bars are fabulous. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I recommend them highly.

NB WR1012 are great shoes they fit with room so my feet aren't squished. There is good padding on my heels.

Great shoe. I'm a senior citizen and this shoes wide base provides extra stability. I also have hammer toes and bunions and the wide deep toe box is comfortable while still looking stylish! Thanks Zappos!

I have a very wide, flat foot. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes that I have found. The width and length work great for me.

These shoes are incredible! I had purchased these shoes based on the reviews and thought that if it was half as good as the reviews, I would be happy. I have to say that these shoes live up to the generous reviews. The arch support is nice; the comfort level is awesome when worn long-term. These shoes are absolutely great.

I am a severe over pronator, so these shoes, are the only ones that I can exercise in. I had to go up a full size on them. They look a bit clunky, but they are the most comfortable athletic shoe I have ever worn. Would definitely purchase again. The quality is there, and you really do get what you pay for.

These are the only shoes that I own that are truly comfortable. I have bunions and a broken toe/metatarsal. My feet don't hinge properly. This causes knee and hip pain when wearing other shoes. These shoes give me so much stability and cushion that I can walk my dog at a fast pace and even manage an occasional jog. I have ordered a new pair (size 12) and hope I don't have to wait too long for them to come in. I need my happy feet!

I also have plantar fascia and have had problems being on feet all day as a nurse. When purchased these, I was amazed at how much room and heel/arch support and comfort these are. I can now work without agonizing over my feet. Yippeee!

My review will be a little different from some of the others here in that I don't have hammer toes, or arch troubles, or really any foot problems at all--my feet are actually really, really healthy! But in my quest to keep them that way with all the miles I walk and run in a week, this is by far the best shoe I've ever found. They are pricey, and not even remotely cute or stylish--but the comfort more than makes up for that. Try a pair, you won't be disappointed. I am ordering several to tuck away.

Helps plantar fascia. Not only do I have an extremely wide toe box, I have also developed plantar fascia. I walk my dogs several miles a day and even with daily stretching the pf was bothering me. Since I got these shoes the pf is only a mild ache once in a while. I'm very pleased with this shoe overall.

I have worn this model shoe now for the last 5 years and it's still the best tennis shoe. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my feet but I enjoy running. With the help of medication and this shoe I'm able to run 3 miles a day pain-free.

Great shoes, look for American made, not just assembled in the USA. New Balance has both. I love their shoes, can't go wrong with free shipping, both ways if for any reason your choice doesn't work out. I wear these to work every day. Very comfortable!

I love these shoes. Have enough room in the toe area for my wide feet. I have been hiking in the hills with these have good traction.

These are the most comfortable shoes I ever had, and I have a lot! I have bunions and flat feet and my feet are always hurting - but not with these shoes.

This is the most comfortable trainer-type shoe I've worn in a long time. I was afraid I would be disappointed after paying so much for them, but that is far from the case. They offer wonderful support and straight out of the box I was able to walk/run in them without developing blisters or sore spots. I just wish they were available in a 2nd color choice.

WR1012 were the top of the list given to me by foot surgeon. They have built in orthotics, maximum movement control and antipronator insert. They are very firm and takes time to break in. Have patience and just wear for an hour a day. You will feel the difference throughout your whole body.

I have been searching for along time to find shoes that will fit my orthotics - and these do! (So I can not say that these have arch support, since I take out the insoles & add my orthotics.)

I'm ordering this shoe for the second time. My first pair is holding up very well, but I'm afraid they'll discontinue the style and I don't want to ever be without this shoe. I have wide feet. These are comfortable, supportive, but best of all, they don't look dorky and they are not men's shoes! Excellent support for walking. My feet love them. Seemed a bit short, so I am ordering 1/2 size up from my typical size. Totally worth the price.
