Great support shoe. True to size for a running shoe. That said, I would order a one size up from your regular shoe size.

I normally wear a wide or extra wide and this shoe was very sturdy and comfortable in the wide width. I would love to see this shoe in a dark color.

These are great shoes: very comfortable, and they come in 2E. If you have wide feet with any problems (like bunions) these will make walking feel good again. But be warned! These shoes run big. I take an 8 in keens, a 7 1/2 in Brooks, and usually a 7 in wide New Balance. But in the 1012, a 6-1/2 was the correct fit. Unfortunately, I bought and wore a 7. Too big, and I wore them outside. So, those will be winter wear with heavy socks.

This is my 3rd pair of New Balance sneakers. I recommend NB because they are true to their word and their sneakers are awesome, comfortable, and I no longer have pain in my knees when I wear their sneakers! Zappos is awesome! I wish other sites would take lessons from Zappos regarding ordering and shipping policies!

Bought in January. I wanted a well fitting shoe for walking/jogging with my dog. The stabilization feature is fantastic, and keeps my foot in correct alignment. I work in an ER and on the move 8 to 10 hours at a time. Nothing aches the next day so I'm ordering another pair so I can wear one outside, one at work. Only thing, I found I needed 1/2 size larger. They're great.

These shoes were recommended for my feet by my Physical Therapist, because I was suffering from chronic plantar fasciitis in both feet. Wonderful fit, and support, and the price was right for this incredibly high-quality shoe. I just couldn’t believe how fast the shipment was, too! Thanks Zappos!

These New Balance shoes with the roll bar for over pronators like myself are awesome. I would prefer that the mesh style would be available in more colors as I need to wear these to work in an office -- which means I'm wearing athletic shoes with dress clothes. I do not see why they are as expensive as they are but I'm thankful to whoever designed them as they really do work. This is a very comfortable shoe for all day long, everyday wear!

Love these shoes! My podiatrist recommended them, and since I seem to only be able to wear New Balance shoes they were a natural choice. Very comfortable. Their double wide width is great for my orthotics. I had a bone spur in my heel and Plantar Fasciitis. I just had surgery for both and these shoes are still working out great! The only negative is that both shoes squeak! I don't see this complaint in any other review, so I m not sure what the problem is. Also, it would be nice if they came in black.

Plenty of toe room. Rather thick sole - takes some getting used to but comfortable once worn for awhile. Good walking shoe.

I do like these; however, the arch isn't as high as indicated. I took out the insoles and added my own. Otherwise these are good shoes. Nice, wide toe area and great cushioned soles.

I purchased the New Balance WR1012 because I was looking for a sneaker that provided arch support to deter pronation, and a wide toe box. This shoe performs well in both of those areas. I use them for daily one hour walks and my feet feel supported and comfortable. The only reason I gave four stars and not five was due to the bulkiness of the sneaker. I wouldn't say they are heavy, but they are not streamlined either. Overall, a very good sneaker. I would purchase them again.

I loved my NB WR1011 shoes for my step aerobics class. They kept me from rolling/twisting my ankles when moving side to side. I was disappointed that 1011 was discontinued and replaced with WR1012, but I went ahead and bought these anyway, hoping they'd fit and feel the same. I don't think they fit as nicely as the 1011 did, but they do keep me from rolling/twisting my ankles. The arch support isn't as good as the 1011 either. Still, it's a good shoe for me.

I got these after trying a few other brands. They seem stiff and after a month on the treadmill 5 miles per day they haven't loosened up. There is plenty of room in the toe box.

I don't feel like these shoes were worth the money spent. Don't get me wrong, they are good shoes, but no better than the cheaper New Balance I bought for work.

This shoe was rather large and bulky. It did feel comfortable, however, I felt like I was wearing two bricks on my feet.

Very disappointed in this New Balance. I suppose New Balance is trying, like food packagers, to fool the buying public about their shoe size. Not true to size, and I don't care for the more open weave of the material. Certainly not up to the standards of the NB 994 I now wear.

Decent sneaker, but a bit disappointed for the price paid. My foot with plantar fasciitis is actually a little sore after wearing these shoes. No break-in time needed. Looks nice.

I have morton's neuroma on my left foot. I finally thought I had found a shoe that I could wear without discomfort or pain. The wide worked great for the front of my foot. I had no pain. Unfortunately the wide width didn't work on the heel of the shoe. It slipped up and down which would have resulted in a blister.

Splurged and bought this shoe for walking. It had rave reviews. Have bought many NB shoes for tennis and leisure. For some reason, the right shoe has from day one caused a sharp jabbing pain on the bottom of my right heel. I have never had a problem like this, and is only apparent with this one shoe - jabbing heel pain definitely takes away from overall satisfaction. I'm guessing something is wrong with the cushioning of the insole.

These were purchased to replace my older pair of 1011. I was told by New Balance this was the replacement. I have worn them twice and both times my right leg and lower back have gone into spasm. There is something defective in the sole of the right shoe which allows you to collapse down further as you walk making your stride completely out of balance. Stay away from these!

I usually love NB shoes for the stability and motion control but these just don't work for me. I felt like I was wearing combat boots. Way too chunky and heavy. Returning these for something else.

I love these shoes! They are the best athletic shoes I have ever owned. After my pregnancy the arch in my foot collapsed, these are great for supporting the arch. I do not want to take them off! Better than barefoot for me.

I love New Balance. They are perfect for a wide foot. They don't look like wide shoes either. These feel like walking on clouds.

Finally found a sneaker that fits and is comfortable! My foot is wide in the front and normal in the back causing me slippage in any sneaker I tried. I also have plantar fasciitis. This sneaker solved both problems. The extra holes provided let's me lace them up to prevent slipping and there is room for my orthotics. The bubble laces prevent loosening. These are so comfortable. I wish I had found them sooner! Thanks Zappos for your continuing excellent service!

This is my first pair of motion control shoes. I love them! I have a torn tendon in my ankle and shin splints, so I have found I need to invest in more supportive shoes. Hopefully physical therapy will solve these problems and better shoes will prevent them from happening again. I wear custom orthotics so I cut off the arch support part of the removable insole and then reinsert the insole. Then I put in my insoles and they fit perfectly. For me I find that there is a little more space than I need on the top of the front part of the shoe but it does not seem to affect the comfort of the shoe. I would highly recommend these shoes! I do wish they would come out with some more color choices.
