These boots are beautiful, and of excellent quality. Unfortunately, they didn't fit. I'm usually a 9 and the 9 seemed to slip off my heel to much...so I exchanged for an 8.5, can't even pull them on! I'm so bummed...the cute boot hunt continues!

I have been lusting after a pair of Frye boots for forever and finally ordered these last week. So sad when they arrived and I found that they aren't wide enough for my calves...which is extra sad because I do not have large calves at all. I could just get the boots on but there is no way I could have worn them over jeans. The foot portion fit just fine (I'm a size 8) so I couldn't go up a size in the hopes of getting a bigger calf circumference. I didn't want to take a risk on stretching them, in case they didn't stretch enough. So they're going back.

Was surprised how very wide the calf is! I am a runner with quite developed calves and I had about 2 inch gap! The boot was quite narrow in the ankle and difficult to get on with a very pronounced fold on the seam that rubs uncomfortably. Surprised at the poor fit from such a reputable company. Disappointed that I had to return.

I have had my eye on these boots for two years! I had ordered them from an alternate provider and, due to weather, the boots would not arrive by the date I needed them. Therefore, I ordered them from Zappos VIP. The service was amazing and next day delivery FREE! However, the boots themselves appear like Frye outlet products. I understand that genuine leather may have color and texture differences from boot to boot BUT mine were a completely different color on the foot portion compared to the shaft. The shaft is also very "weathered" looking. Not at all like the picture. The other pair of identical boots I ordered arrived and were just as I had hoped and one color and one texture, beautiful! Unfortunately, I had already worn the Zappos pair with the hope they would wear in to be one color. It has improved but still appears two tone. I will not order Frye boots from this seller again.

I love this boot. I am sad to have to return it. I ordered a size 10. It seems to me a 10 is very tight in this boot. I first tried it on with a sock couldn't get it to zip up. Took off the sock and it zipped. If I cannot wear a sock with this boot, I had to return it. It's a wonderful looking boot. I am so sad that I cannot keep it.

These boots were a no for me...reasons being the leather was not impressive for a Frye boot..distressed yes but some areas very shiny and the leather was pretty thin in my opinion. Seemed shorter than other Frye tall boots.. Comfort level wasn't really there either..I have been trying several Frye boots lately and so far I'm really leaning towards the Jenna Studded Tall.

I am very disappointed in the quality of these boots. I have had two pairs where the stitching has come apart. For the price I would expect better quality. Otherwise, the boots are very comfortable and stylish.

I could not get these boots on or off without a major struggle. I am so disappointed! Why can't Frye make more boots with a zipper!

What gorgeous boots. Just very frustrating to have one fit and the other too small. I do not have large calves or abnormal feet. The right one slipped on easily and the left one would not budge. Oh well . . .

I actually loved these boots, this was my second pair but I had to send them back - I have two raw blisters at the back of my heel and I could hardly squeeze my foot into them. Made the mistake of thinking I could wear into them, but something just seems off about this particular pair. :(

The bottoms were really slippery and the toe "snoots" up. They reminded me of the Wicked Witch from Wizard of Oz. I was REALLY looking forward to these boots but am returning them.

I did my research and was excited to get my new boots. They arrived and the bottoms of them were worn from someone else wearing them and I couldn't get them on. I have skinny feet and they would not slip on. They will be returned.

These boots are beautiful but the entire bottoms including heels are extremely slippery. I wore them once and literally slipped the entire evening. I could not walk without holding my boyfriend's hand and even then I fell. They should be recalled. Very are very dangerous. Someone is going to get hurt wearing them.

It is hard to imagine that someone actually put one of these boots in the box to mail to a future customer. The leather had been damaged in the dying process. There were large ugly white splotches on both sides of the boot. The person who inspected the boot, and the person who pack the boot, obviously did not care about the product. Too bad. It was a handsome boot. I am returning it immediately

I couldn't even get my foot into this boot. I have another pair of FRYE boots in a different style and love them--I am a true 6 and these are way too small in the ankle area.

Seriously, I think I'm done with Zappos. I'm not sure if anyone else has had a problem with their quality control. Expensive boots wrapped in tissue paper that looks like it was run through a shredder!. That being a small matter, the real problem is, yet again I've been sent boots that were scuffed up. Zappo, you expect me to pay full price for used boots? Not that I would even think of buying used boots. You need to pay attention to what is going on with your company
