I am an 8.5, I ordered my size hoping they would fit and they were perfect! Like all boots, it took a few times to really wear them in. I’ve had them for a year now and they still feel amazing and I wear them all fall/winter. Favorite boots

I love Frey boots and have worn them for more than 40 Years. There’s nothing like them! These boots are soft, comfortable and stylish. I can’t wait to wear them this fall!

These boots are gorgeous. I ordered a 51/2 which is my true size and I had no problems getting them on. I wore them all day and they were super comfy and I got lots of compliments. Great deal for Frye boots!

Great boot at a great sale price. I wear a 6.5 or 7 in most boots. Had to return this 6.5 as it was just a tiny bit small.

My third pair of Fryes. They do not disappoint. They last me 1-2 seasons, and much longer if you get them resoled and don't deal with the winter elements.

Unlike my first frye boot experience these Melissa Button boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on. Highly recommend ;-)

I bought the black pair also and these are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn . can were all day and my feet don't hurt. may have trouble getting them on is you have wide feet . and full calf.

These are my new favorite boots! I got the cognac color and they go with everything. They were a little tight around the calves than I'm used to but as I've warn them they've loosened up a little. I'm usually a size 8.5 and I did have to size up to a 9. The traction isn't great, I think as you wear them and scuff up the bottoms it'll help with slipping, but I wouldn't recommend wearing these in the snow or if it's icy out.

These boots are well made. I returned them because I just found them a bit boring in person. The sole is quite stiff. I feel like they would hold up well as a working boot. Quite attractive, just not what I was looking for at the time.

I have always wanted the classic Melissa Button boots. Over the years I have purchased Frye and Lucchese boots and most I still have. Thought that they might be a tight fit in the calves but they were not a problem at all with my 15" calf. Can still wear with my skinnies. I know I'll have them for years to come and will get better as times goes on with proper care. Now I need to add the Melissa short to the collection.

After reading the reviews, I must say that when I ordered my true size 9.5, I could not get the boot on over my left foot at all. And my feet are not that different. I returned and ordered a 10 which was perfect. A little big roomy but much easier to pull on. And they don't look like boats. I just wear thicker socks. They are narrow but that works for me.

I'm absolutely in love with these boots. They fit beautifully and the brown leather is a gorgeous color. I wish they made this boot that looked a little less Cowboy like in black. And they're also super. Other than that they are perfect!

As I grow older, my style has changed. Goodbye Frye Jane tall riding boot and Hello Frye Melissa Button!! The classic style is so perfect for my toned down, cant wear heels because I have a three year old to chase after style. I knew from the past that frye has such a great quality of shoes, so the price made sense. I wouldn't need to replace them next year because I splurged for long lasting leather. I ordered the burgundy originally, wanting something a little different than the classis black or brown. When I received them, I realized they were-well- RED. there was no way I was going to pull off Red boots on a daily basis. So, with Zappos fantastic staff to help with an exchange, I sent them back and ordered the Bordeaux color. SO GLAD I MADE THE CHANGE! I can wear these with just about anything. Dresses, leggings, jeans etc. It is a little pop of color in my wardrobe. I originally ordered an 8 1/2 thinking from past experience that the leather would be too hard to get on and off, but they ended up being too big. So, again, with Zappo's return policy, I have gotten an 8 (in the same color). Hoping these are my "glass slipper" and fit just right, because, honestly, I kind of just want to wear these 24/7! They are beautifully crafted and beautiful to look at.

I own 3 pairs of Frye boots and the Melissa Button is by far my favorite. It’s so sleek and goes with everything. I love wearing them with leggings and long cozy sweaters.

LOVE LOVE these boots . have the black suede. right out of the box they are very confomfortable.

I love these boots! I have them in both black and brown. The fit it great and they look amazing.

Love these boots my last pair I had for 4 years and wore them out they go with anything from skirt to skinny jeans. And are great to stand in all day long.

These boots are amazing !!

I loved the look of this boot. Unfortunately I was not able to get my foot all the way into the footbed. I wear a size 8 and ordered same. Ankle was too narrow for me to actually get my foot to slide all the way in. Not sure if I’ll try a half size up or try the riding boot instead. Too bad because I think they would have looked amazing.

Very stiff on the heel and toe areas and my heel slipped bad. This would’ve been my second pair but they are no where as comfortable as my first and sadly went back.

Love these boots and was happy to find them on sale. They definitely need a “break in” period but quickly become very comfortable.
