These boots are absolutely fabulous to say the least. I ordered the burnished tan and they are the perfect neutral to accent any outfit. I also must say that Zappos is such an accommodating and extraordinary company. I had a certain issue, and they worked with me and made me a happy gal. I lusted over these boots for months but unfortunately waited until my size in the red sold out. Someone must have recently returned a pair and yes I snatched them up this time. They are so cute, well made and comfortable. I am seriously considering another pair in another color. My only complaint is that they are hard to get on. But that's OK because they are the bomb.

I love them. This is not my first pair... Frye is one of the best names in boots. I have been wearing them for 30 years! Yes, I am a very hip Grammy.

I got the Shirley strappy for x mas, to tight on my calf muscle. But these... OMG! Most amazing Frye boots yet. This is my fourth pair. I love them. I am normal an 8, and ordered an 8 in these. I usually order up a 1/2 size in Frye. I ordered the black and love them! I am 5'8 and 140 lbs. I am very athletic and have large calves. It is hard to find boots that will go over my jeans. These do! A bit hard to get on, but once on super comfy. I stand all day at work and these are great. Worth every penny.

This is a beautiful boot! They're not quite as dark as the pictures, but I am sure that it will become darker with wear.

I received these boots as a Christmas gift. At first, the boots were hard to get on and off, but after only a few days the leather is already loosening up. I got them in the Tan Burnished Leather, the leather is so supple and I love how they look kind of worn. These boots look great dressed up or dressed down and the heel is just tall enough to go both ways. I love the slit in the back, because when worn tall, these boots down hurt the back of your knees! I am 5'5 and these boots when worn tall hit right at mid knee. You can also fold down the top for a more casual look. I would highly recommend for boot lovers out there and I am already scoping out my next pair of Frye boots!

High quality leather, definitely a must have - a great investment. At first it's a little tight but with wear it shapes to your feet.

These boots are great! They are true to size and are very high quality.

I have been wanting these boots for months and when they went on sale on black Friday I got them. I generally wear a 7.5 or 8, but in Frye, I seem to be a consistent 7.5. I got them in the Slate color, which is a grayish brown. They go with almost everything and are beautiful. Very soft and comfortable to wear. With the cuff up, they come up to the bottom of my knee. I was concerned they would be too tall, but they are the perfect height. They are great with skinny jeans, and I have worn them with a skirt and tights. If you get them, be prepared for lots of compliments!

Love the leather and the quality of this boot. I ordered in my regular size 8, but couldn't get my foot into the boot. The ankle portion is cut fairly narrow, so you have to be very flexible to get your foot into the boot. I exchanged the first pair and ordered up a size. It was still a little difficult to get the boot on, thank goodness I have no range of motion limitations in my ankle. Once on, the boot fit well and accomodates my wider calf although I can only wear tights with these boots, not leggings or jeans. The boots are very well made and I am sure they will hold up for many years. They are on the expensive side, but the quality supports the cost.

Love these in the slate burnished! Initially I ordered a 7 because I have a black pair in size 7. However, the slate burnished seemed a lot tighter and smaller. I couldn't even get my foot inside! I have returned and will now try a 7.5.

Very gorgeous boots! Very comfortable! They're a little expensive but really worth to investment. It is going last years! I will save my money to get another pair of Frye next year!

These boots are awesome! I have been wearing them constantly since my purchase. They are perfect with skinny jeans, leggings and skirts. I wear them with the cuff up and it hits just below the knee.

Love this boots. I have had them for a year now. Taupe color is unique and goes with everything. They fit my large calves. I think they have the perfect heel height... flat comfort with a little height (does that make sense?). They are a little difficult to get on with my high instep but super comfy once they are on. I am 5'7" and have pretty long legs...they hit me just below the knee when not folded down. Everyone familiar with Frye's already knows their quality is superior...in this case you do get what you pay for.

Just received these boots! The best way to describe them is fabulous! The leather is so supple and of high quality. Sizing is right on -- true to size. I worried about having a bit of a heel, but they are strategically positioned to where they are very comfortable if you're not a heel person like me. I wanted a boot with a taller shaft and found it in these boots. I try not to buy "trendy" so these boots will be with me for a long time as they are timeless classics. Zappos-- you are the best!

Perfect boots. Like others mentioned, they are a bit of work to take off but well worth it. I wear them all the time and can walk all over the city in them.

I love these boots! I wear a size 7 medium and they fit true to size. The additional 1/2 inch circumference (usually 15 inches is all I can find) gives just enough clearance to wear the to-the-knee shaft. Chic enough to wear with dresses but causal enough to wear with jeans and I could literally wear these boots everyday.

I love these boots! They are perfect. The color is more grey than the picture but still walks the line between brown and grey. The heel height is very comfortable for walking around; I wear these boots almost every other day. I am 5'10" and the top of the boot, uncuffed, comes to just below my knee. After having them about a month, I still need to use something (a plastic bag usually) to get one boot on; I am hoping that soon I will have stretched them out enough.

These boots are fantastic. They've got wide, comfortable calves. I wear them for hours at work where I stand all day. I get compliments on them daily, and I could not be happier with them. So comfortable, so stylish. love them!

I own lots of Fryes, and hands down these are my favorites. I got the black and now lusting after another pair. Always wear them turned up and the heel height is perfect. Love, love, love.

I was looking for a western style/riding boot look in a neutral color and a bit of a heel (not flat). The Taupe, distressed leather color fits the bill. Beautiful!!! Love these boots! Look great with my denim leggins. I ordered my true shoe size and wear a thin sock, and they go on and off quite easily. The toe is not pointy, so it's a comfortable fit. A great escape from my world of black boots!
