I was looking for a new pair cognac flats to replace my worn out favorites. Ordered 3 from Zappos to try, and these were the winner. Pros: Love the style, and they fit well. They did rub a bit around the base of my toes at first, but I've probably worn them 10 times now and it is less of a problem. Cons: They are squeaky. I hope this will lessen as they continue to break in; however, I fear it is due to the rubber sole/heel. The heel looks like wood in the photos, but it is really just rubber with a wood grain design over it. That was disappointing. I also do not like the footbed material which causes my feet to sweat more than other flats I've owned. Will probably look for some inserts, but not sure I have room to add them without them getting to tight. Overall: Style wins out over the squeak and the sweat. I searched for the perfect pair for a long time and I think this is as good as it gets.

Is Naturalizer changing their widths? I've ordered several pairs of Naturalizer shoes, all in size 9.5W that I've been in for years, and none them fit. The shoes have consistently felt more narrow. Regarding these Maude shoes, they are tight across my toes and because they are cut a bit low, they rub the sides of my feet. Unfortunately they are being returned. I like the style of this shoe, though, and the footbed has much more support and cushioning than many other flats out there.

The heel was not narrow and my foot slipped out with each step. Also the rounded toe was so unattractive that I felt like a Disney character. What a disappointment. Naturalizer had been my go to. No longer.

I have owned these shoes for a couple years and they are the most comfortable flats I have ever worn for work. I just ordered another pair to replace them, and out of the box they are very stiff. I don't remember a long break-in period, but rather thought they were pretty comfy from the start last time. I guess I'll get my old ones cleaned up and stick with those. If you have the patience to break these in, they end up pretty wonderful.

I have a really hard time finding comfortable shoes, but these are pretty good. The first time wearing them for about 4 hours, I had no complaints. They are fairly narrow, which is perfect for my narrow feet but probably too tight for most people.

These shoes are about as comfortable as one might hope for ballet flats. Though there is some arch support, I will likely add another insole because my arches are very high. Fortunately, there is enough room to do that without risking walking out of the shoe. The one thing I really dislike about the shoe is the noise. It squeaks with every step. I hope this will go away after the shoe gets broken in, but I doubt it will because I have old shoes like these that still squeak.

Cute shoe, not too matte, not too shiny. Fits well but rubs after a long day on the top of the toes. I think this will lessen as they're broken in. Good go-to black flat for the office.

I love the round toe and the overall design is really cute. Not as comfortable as I was hoping. They're stiff in the toe area and I'm still working on breaking them in.

Beautiful shoe, but runs very narrow. I ordered a wide width but I'm returning for the next step up in width. Hopefully, they'll be perfect.

This shoe is cute and practical. I bought it for work since I'm 6 ft tall, flats seemed ideal, however this shoe is a bit tight across the top where the foot bends. Its a bit short for a true size 11. It could be very comfortable for someone maybe with a size 9. I'm wearing them despite the red marks across my foot and hoping they stretch. I'm probably going to end up in a heeled shoe for a better fit.

Attractive flat for work. I sent the medium width back but liked the style so much that I took a chance on the wide. It is a little stiff now - I am hoping that it becomes more comfortable with time.

These are both comfortable and stylish. My feet can survive standing in them for up to 6 hours. They run true to size and width. The arch support is minimal and could be more substantial which is why I gave them four out of five stars. The shoes did not require a long break in period, I was able to wear them right out of the box.

Lovely shoes but very uncomfortable at first. These shoes are very well-crafted and look great with everything. They fit my narrow heels very well but pinch and rub on the top sides of the toe box. I'm assuming after they break in that it won't be so bad but that seems to be taking longer than I'd like...

I truly love the roomy toe box of this shoe as well as the style and color (I ordered coffee bean). I am an 8N with some bunion issues so it's very hard to find shoes that fit well. My other Naturalizer 8N shoes fit well. This one is great EXCEPT that as other reviewers have said, my heel is slipping out the back. I've added one set of heel liners but my foot is still slipping when I wear a standard Smartwool cable sock. I really love every other aspect of this shoe so I may do a little more engineering with heel liners to see if I can stop the slippage. Arch support is minimal--it is a flat, after all.

These are cute and have a sturdy foot bed but they were very tight around the base of my toes even when I sized up. Perhaps once you broke them in they would feel better, but in looking for a comfortable shoe, I wasn't willing to go through a couple weeks of discomfort.

Almost perfect! Felt great, stayed on, comfortable except for right foot at big toe joint. Seem to be developing a mini bunion there. Great shoe. Wish it was a little more forgiving in the problem area.

This is my second pair of this style. I also have them on red, and they are amazing once broken in. I had forgotten how they run my smallest toe for the first month or so (and I wear these shoes a lot to walk around NYC), but I will probably buy them again. They have a grown-up look for a flat and last a long time without looking worn.

These will be pretty comfy once their broken in! As of now, they're still in the breaking-in process and rub a bit on the back of the heel and the top of the toe area. If you're between sizes, I'd say go with your larger size. I'm between a 7 and 7.5 and the 7.5 is the right size for me.

These have become my go-to sandal this summer! They are super comfortable like all Keen shoes. The arch is supportive and yet, the sandal is still attractive! :) I always wear a size 9 and got a 9 in these too. They fit just fine to me, but I can see why some people ordered a bigger size than normal as they are a little shorter than most size 9 sandals.

Cute shoes and would have been fine except they slipped off the back of my heels when walking. I never thought I had a narrow heel, but for this shoe I do! so disappointed! I ordered the 5, the length was good, they just flipped off the heels -- I think the 4.5 would have been too snug. Have had a difficult time trying to find a flat that fits, Zappos has been great, sorry, these have to go back too.

These could be a little more stylish, but the leather is pretty and very very soft. Also, the shoes are incredibly lightweight, so it almost feels like going barefoot (including the lack of arch support, but that is the downside of ballerina flats). Overall, these are nice spring/summer flats.

Ordered an 8W, as I am an 8M bordering on the wide side. These are very tight, both size wise and width wise. Additionally the plastic molding inside was stuck to the insole and damaged the insole when I took it out. I had to rip the insole out in order to put it back in proper place or else it would have been folded under my heel and been extremely uncomfortable. Definitely a return product!

Nice shoe for the price, but cut into the top of my foot and the leather is stiff. Got to send them back, but overall I've been pretty happy with other Naturalizer flats.

This shoe requires a lot more breaking in than I expected. It is very tight across the top of the foot near the toe box. I have been trying to break that part in for a few days now. The support on these shoes are very good though. The toe box also looks rather wide when you are wearing them. Overall, if you take the time to break them in, they are a good pair of flats for work, these are great.

I have narrow feet, so I was delighted that this shoe, which I liked and was actually made of leather and came in a narrow. However, when I tried the shoes on, they fit my narrow heel, but bulged out on the sides when I took a step and also when I was standing still. Not an attractive look. Unfortunately, back they go.
