Tevas, like many others, has cheaped out on this product. I ordered a pair of these sandals as a backup to the same type of Teva sandal that I bought six years ago and have been wearing throughout summers since then. These new ones look the same in pictures but are not the same in reality. Soles are slightly thinner and made of a lighter, harder plastic that provides little comfort to the feet. The upper fabric straps are thin and flimsy compared to my older pair. I would not want to walk very far in these new sandals. They are cute but are not comfortable and will not hold up over time.

Please reconsider making an adjustable sandle for a narrow foot, and narrow heel. I always purchased Teva for the flexibility and fit but now the straps cannot be adjusted adequately to safely wear your sandle.

I ordered two pair of Teva Tirra one in Simply Taupe and one in Hera Mango and have had to return both pair. I have a narrow foot and the straps allow for perfect adjustments. These shoes are very comfortable and have great arch support. However, the adjustment strap closest to the toe on the Simply Taupe pair have a Velcro piece on the right shoe that is a little over 2” long (which is perfect) but the same piece on the left shoe is less than 1” in length. This short awkward piece doesn’t allow for any adjustment on the left shoe. The Hera Mango pair squeaked terribly when I walked in them and the heal strap on the left shoe was too low to sit on my heel. Unfortunately, because of these problems, the shoes had to be returned.

The heel strap felt too low to me and these made a noise every time I walked. Returning for mostly these reasons and I did not like how these sandals looked on my feet.

This WOULD have been my second pair in a different color but one of the sandals was a half size smaller than the other. I thought I was imagining it at first but when I compared it to the other and my first older pair, sure enough! TEVA, what is happening to your quality control? Not happy!

Love the styling. Shoe fits. But the ankle strap does not sit comfortably around my ankle. Too small? Wrong angle?

Sandal wore low around the ankle cause immediate discomfort so I returned . The comfort I'ved experienced in the past was not there. The rubber material around the ankle strap was too non flexible!

I have been wearing these for the past 6-7 years. They have save my feet.until now! I got a new pair (which I've done in the past) for my vacation, we walk a lot everyday!!
These are totally different, the quality is GONE. They are stiff, almost seems like they're 2 different shoes. The strap on one of the ankles is not the same as the other shoe. I spent more time putting on bandaids than I have ever done with Teva's. I'm SO disappointed, now I need to find a new go to.

These sandals seemed like they were going to be perfect. There are several ways to adjust the fit, with velcro straps across the toes and the heel. However, after trying multiple adjustments, & even preemptively using bandaids to prevent chafing, I was unable to ever wear them without getting blisters on my Achilles. They had been delivered in a generic box that didn't say anything re the brand or model, so now I'm wondering if someone else had the same problem and returned them before I received them. It's a shame, because - if I don't walk - they fit me better than any other sandals I've been able to find. I just can't seem to walk in them without ending up in pain :(

Teva updated the model of the Tirra sandal, and it's just horrible. The models are over 1/2 inch smaller than previous models, there's no arch support and the sole is completely different. It's hard and firm and does not feel the same while hiking.
Incredibly disappointed so much that I had to return the item.

Although the bed of the shoe was plenty wide enough, the straps were not long enough to make this sandal comfortable. There was not "give/stretch" in the straps, so I think I would have gotten blisters if I would have walked in them for any distance.

I was so excited to see the black on black Tirra…but!!!
Either Teva changed their manufacturing to save money or they got ripped off on the sole material, it’s not the same as my 10 other pairs in various colors. First of all they were too short, I wear a size 8, it was labeled a size 8 but my toes were right at the edge. I measured them against my last pair, they were shorter by a 1/2” or so. More importantly, they squeaked when I walked in them, the soles were a little squishy like. So I decided to exchange them for a 8.5, Zappos sent them right out, this time the length was right but they still squeaked. (I was walking on hardwood floors).

Every time I wear these shoes I get many many blisters all over my feet. Mostly on the heel, then on the top of my foot and sometimes the side. When I bought them I went into a shoe store and had them triple check I was buying the proper size. I'm not sure if it's just the structure of my foot that makes these shoes destructive for my feet or what but they are terrible. I occasionally try them again in hopes that it was just a coincidental scenario but I always end up with tons of blisters. It's too late for me to exchange/return them at the store I purchased them from, otherwise I would.

If you will look are your orders from the past few years, you will see how many pairs of TEVA shoes I have bought. Because of my balance, etc. they are the only shoes I can wear.
A major disappointment recently has been the horrible velcro you are using on the ankle straps. From the very beginning, it slips when I walk. I have had to replace the velcro on the last three pairs of shoes I have bought.

Only walked in my house for about 5 minutes. they cut into my ankles and hurt the sole of my foot. I thought they would be the same as the blue ones I bought a while ago.
They are not.
Really need to return them. Perfect condition.

I bought 2 colors of the same style. The Grey Ridge was perfect, the Blue Multi was smaller and too short.

I liked the look of the sandals and found them comfortable to wear. I did have to go a half-size smaller than what I usually wear to get a good fit. However, they made my feet perspire and caused a bad odor. I have never experienced that with any other sandal I've ever worn. So I will not wear them again even though they are not worn out at all. They will go in the donation box.

This is my sixth pair of these sandals. They were my favorites. This new pair does not fit. Straps are shorter and the ankle strap is too wide. Not the same as the ones I have had before. I am returning them.
I am sorry that I wrote a review earlier without trying them on. I assumed they would be as wonderful as all the others. They are not. I am recanting my previous review.

I've had Tirras for years but this "new" re-design is more than disappointing. As noted in other reviews, the straps are now shorter; I've now snagged pants as there is more velcro exposed which is catching on the hem (the "rough" side of the velcro is the part against the foot; Teva could redesign to swap which side of velcro is on the part of the strap that pulls up ... but that doesn't solve the too-short-length of straps). Also the back straps is much rougher and has rubbed the back of my heels. Lastly the arch support is not as supportive or as high as my old pair of Tirras - even after several years of wear. I have had several pairs over the years and purchased without even thinking about it ... but won't purchase another pair. I've worn these so cannot return through the retailer I purchased. Guess they will go in the donation bin but this is seriously disappointing; please bring back the older design.

I really, really wanted to love these as I have been wearing Tevas for the last almost 40 years, but the strap around the back of my heal was designed and sewn in such a way that I was getting blisters just trying the sandals out walking around inside my house. The top of the strap has a non-stratch insert and seam which does not give at all while the rest of the strap has some give below it. This results in the strap digging into the back of your heal/ankle wit every single step. UGH. Please do better!!!! I have already replaced them with Teva Hurricanes (my former go-to is now my go-to once again). The Tirras are on their way back to you. UGH again!!!

I have been getting this specific sandal for over 10 years, maybe even closer to 15. I loved them. But now they've shortened the strap lengths such that in order to get enough velcro overlap for them to stay secured, I have to strap them so tight that it cuts into my skin.
I still have my last pair of this same sandal in the same size for direct comparison, and the straps are probably about an inch shorter. Pretty bummed out about it, not gonna lie.
