I thought I would love these, but after walking around the house in them for 30 minutes I realized the built in arch was too high. I wear a size 5.5 and possible the manufacturer has the same size arch for the larger sizes. My feet are far from flat. Take that into consideration when you try them out. I'm now considering a shoe where I can put my own supports in them. These were cute and roomy enough for a mid weight sock if you need to keep your feet warm. There is also plenty of room for your toes to move. I need to give them a less than 4 stars for the high arch.

Fits great . Really cute boot. Doesn't have enough cushioning in the forefoot for me, for serious walking. Feels like slippers.

I liked the boot, but expected a more "slouchy" fit (as in Uggs-type boots) I hate to downgrade it for that reason. If you like/are expecting a more fitted boot, this could be very good. I tried the "faux leather" and "faux suede." The suede looks good (although pricey for faux). The leather looked really cheap, not nearly as nice as I've bought at Payless (RIP) for a fraction of the price. I also tried the L8, very similar, same review. I have worn Arcopedico shoes for years, liked them, expected to love the boots.

Love Arcopedico and have 3 other pairs of flats, but these are more like slippers than boots. Also, arch is very high and sort of in the wrong place.

I was so disappointed to have to return this boot. The leather is so soft--like glove leather. If it was just a matter of exchanging for a size larger, that would be no big deal, but the arch support in these boots is so uncomfortable, I just couldn't wear them beyond 5 or 10 minutes. I mean, they have extreme arch support! It's like having a rod under your arches.

The fabric is SO flimsy that it doesn't hold its shape. So unless your feet are perfectly straight, they look weird. I have weak ankles and flat feet and my feet skewed so much in these that they looked really strange. They were SO comfortable and had good arch support, but absolutely no stability in the upper part of the boot.

I liked the style, but my feet are narrow and these were too wide. Also the sole has little to no traction and is not rain-worthy.

I bought these boots for my daughter who is studying abroad. She has bunions, is doing a lot of traveling, and her feet ache. She got these and says they are very flexible, forgiving and comfortable. They aren't cute, more like foam booties, but if one suffers from bunions, comfort far outweighs the style factor. I called Arcopedico to see about water resistance since it's winter in Europe, too, and was told that these boots are water resistant and would be waterproof with the application of a waterproofing spray. Not so which displeases both of us since it limits her ability to wear them. I'd not have purchased them if I had received accurate information. There is not much tread so these can be slippery on wet surfaces. I'm happy that she has a way to rest her feet, but I am really disappointed that we got something that is only wearable when it's dry, particularly because I called and asked about this.

I have WICKED bunions and can barely wear a closed toe shoe, the salewoman reccomended this brand. this is my SECOND pair . I was SO GLAD they were still making the same style 2 years after buying the first paid. U can wear them all day in comfort and they are the ONLY closed toe shoe I have that doesnt hurt like hell.

The most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. ADORE them.

I love these boots and keep buying more. They feel like slippers but are supportive and I can walk for miles comfortably with them on.

These are the perfect shoes for Fall/Spring travel. They’re lightweight, easy to wear in an airport, and also packable. They go with everything. I did find, however, that after walking in them for a day, the high arch support was a bit uncomfortable, so I bought some cushioned insoles and now these booties are super comfortable! I usually wear an 8.5 in shoes and a 9 in running shoes. I ordered a 9 and they fit great! Plenty of room to wear with socks. Thanks Zappos for always being so easy to work with!

This is my second pair of the shoes, as the first pair has worn out after years of comfortable walking. I also bought a third pair, so that should tell you something.

These fit perfectly, and I've been wearing them since -- no break-in bandaids or such. Love them.

I love these boots! They are cute and very comfortable. I ordered them in bronze. It was not quite the color I expected, being more plain brown than bronze. However, they were so comfortable when I put them on I decided to keep them.

Bought a pair of these low boots in a store right before COVID and loved them (they were red). When the world opened up, the store said they don't sell them anymore and neither did the place near my apt, and I bought them online. While I wd rather patronize local merchants, I could not with these shoes, and I have bought 3 pairs since then at Zappos. All great. Actually don't wear anything else. Ever.

Love the fit and style. At first the arch support seems over the top and a bit lumpy, but wear them a few times and it becomes very comfortable.

Portuguese-made shoes always fit me very well and I am glad that you carry them. Arcopedico is my best brand. I am especially happy that they are vegan! Evidently they are washable too. What more could you want from a shoe? They do not need to be broken in. They are flexible and comfy the minute you put them on. Also, Zappo’s delivery time is amazing! Thank you, Zappo’s!

This is my third purchase of this boot this winter. I have problem feet (bunions etc) and have had difficulty finding a comfortable shoe I can wear all day long. These shoes are IT. They are soft and just warm enough for a Northern California winter. I bought L19 in the grey, olive suede (which is more a gray/ brown and not green) and the cherry red (which is a deep burgundy red). Love all 3 but the cherry red is so cute and people stop to ask about that pair frequently. Next year I’ll buy the cafe and the black and then give away all my other shoes!

They are as comfortable as ever. Pair #3. I wear them virtually everyday almost all year long as they are the only thing that keeps my injured ankle from screaming after a day on my feet. So I wear them around the house like slippers and out for my daily dose of fresh air.

I love, love, love this bootie. So comfortable right out of the box. Decent arch support. And Cute too! I usually wear an 8 so I ordered size 39. It felt a little loose (I guess European size is 8 to 8-1/2), but that's what I wanted because I bought these to wear in cooler weather. So plenty of room for warm socks. These booties are so light and comfy you could wear them in warm weather also, but if you plan on going sans socks, you may want to order down one size.

These boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned! It’s like walking on air! I saw another reviewer call them cheap-looking, and I wholeheartedly disagree. I’ve gotten many compliments on them. You are paying for the comfort and style of the shoe, rather than the cost of real leather or suede, and they are 100 percent worth it. I prefer them to real leather, because as a rather clumsy gal, I have a tendency to scuff the toes of my shoes, and these don’t scuff! They will last longer because of this, which also helps me justify the expense. I ordered the gray last year, and they look as pictuted, maybe slightly lighter in color, but now I plan to order the olive. I’d get them in every color if I could!

I just ordered my second pair of these. The first pair I wore to work every day all day for 2 years solid and they held up amazingly well but it’s time for a new pair. This is the best boot I have ever owned and it’s vegan to boot! (Pun intended) This is a home run in every way possible! Highly recommended! Thanks Zappos!

i love these! comfy all over for multiple foot problems and so lightweight, excellent arch support and keep your foot in place, comfortable sole, easy on & off. shininess on the bronze is very understated so they’re classy. they remind me of Elf boots ala lord of the rings. i was looking for waterproof/resistant boots for long walks with the dog in rain/mud, but uninsulated to wear when it’s not cold. (i have other warm boots.) bonus that they can be thrown in the washer! if you walk or stand a lot in cool/warm rain, mostly on sidewalks/pavement so you don’t need stiff hiking boots, these are the ones! I’ve tried about a dozen and Born Cove were my runners-up. my feet are wide at the forefoot but not the heel, have a high instep & my big toes point up; i therefore size up for closed toe shoes from 8 to 9 or 39 to 40 unless they’re width D to EE with a deep toe; i probably wouldn’t even need to size up with these, if i didn’t mind the elastic of the upper squeezing across my pinky toes. My fashionista teen daughter did not give 2 thumbs up on the style. ? But my husband & I like them.

I have several pairs of this shoe. Nice selection of colors. Great arch support. Good fit for a person with a wide toe box and narrow heel. Fits like a glove. Indestructible. Warm.
