Putting these on is like zipping into slippers. The heel cup is stable, moderate arch support, minimal sole under forefoot and toes. Super light weight and pack/travel like a dream. I walked five miles one day in rainy weather in these on varying surfaces (asphalt, concrete, cobblestones, gravel) and zero problems during or after. They may not be super snazzy but the matte (and rain-resistant) uppers blend into black leggings or tights and look good with everything. The heel cup gives about an inch of lift even though they don't look like heels from the outside.

I was back and forth with the decision of choosing these, and spent considerable time reading reviews. But I want to allay your fears -- these little boots are absolutely great and so soft, they conform to your feet no matter what usual problems you have (bunions, etc). I received them just before a trip to New York and there, I walked in these boots day and night feeling no discomfort. They are feather-light. The streets were mostly dry so I have no idea how they would be in rain or snow, quite honestly. But for average weather, these are wonderful.

Very comfortable with arch support and lots of room for those with bunions. Runs large, so order a half size smaller and still be able to wear heavy socks.

I love these little boots! It's great having a lightweight, easy care ankle boot with arch support. They're soft and comfy but without that feeling of walking barefoot. Also, I received them the day after I placed my order. Talk about great service!

Very comfortable and fit my right foot that has a bunion. Also I feel they look stylish with both slacks and long skirts.

Just got these great boots. I wear orthotics, so I was so happy when they fit inside the boot. So comfortable. I ordered the size I wear and they fit. I have very high arches. Love them!

Super comfy bootie! I can't wait for cooler weather to wear them. I bought them a half size larger so I could put a gel insert in them and wear a thick sock when I travel to Europe in December; but they would have been just as comfortable in my regular size (8).

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned and they're pretty sleek and low key so they look great under jeans and my work pants. They say they're water proof - I haven't tested that yet, but if the description is true, then they are the perfect pair of shoes. Ever.

The shoes are cozy like a bedroom shoe. They definitely run a size too large. I have to now wear orthotics, and with those and sox the shoes are great.

These are the most incredible CUTE booties, and unbelievably comfortable. I have worn them almost every day since I got them. They have very good arch support (an issue for me) and I can wear them all day long when I'm on my feet. I don't know how good they would be in really rainy weather--I'd be more inclined to wear real "rain boots" rather than get these booties wet. But in mild rainy weather, or just about any other time, they are great! I love Arcopedico as a brand, I have several pairs of their "Scala" style in different colors, and I'm very happy to add this pair of low boots to my Arcopedico collection.

I'm torn on these. They are cute, lightweight, and feel like slippers. The arch support is good, and it feels like there's a metatarsal arch support in there, too, which is wonderful. I really like that they are water resistant because it rains a lot in the fall and I find rain boots to be gross and uncomfortable. The fabric looks a little weird and cheap up close, but on your feet, it looks fine. The downside is that these boots definitely run small, and unfortunately, I've already purchased the largest size available. The toe box is also very narrow, which crowds my toes and adds to the overall feeling of the shoe being too small. I've been wearing them around the house for a few hours but I really won't be able to tell whether they are going to work until I walk nonstop for half a mile or so. I'm loathe to lose the water resistance, but I think I'm better off returning them for the N42, which has a much wider toe box.

The version of these shoes that looks like "leather" is actually a leather synthetic, and I don't expect it would last very long in my closet after several years of "vegan" purses. These shoes are also soled with an UNUSUAL product. It's very squishy, too squishy for my tastes, and feels odd because it also has a high arch. I feel like I'm balancing on an uneven surface, and trying to trudge uphill in sand or something. I can't imagine wearing these around town much. I would rather have a heartier shoe, that feels more shoe like and less like I'm wearing a child's puffy Disney character slippers.

If you have a high arch and bunions get these. They are unique and comfortable and dress up or down. Get them.

Absolutely love these shoes! I bought this brand for the first time while in Lisbon, and looked at the boots but decided they were too expensive. I should have bought them then--they are cheaper in Portugal. But I didn't, and then later in the year, I injured my achilles tendon and could not wear any shoes with backs--a problem since it snows where I love. I tried a bunch of different shoes but nothing worked except for sandals til I bought these boots. They are so lightweight it's like you have nothing on your feet, and they did not irritate my injury. Also, they are cute, and seriously comfortable right out of the box--no break in time. I wored them all winter, and they are still in great shape. I have two other pairs of shoes in this brand and they are all super comfortable and lightweight, great for traveling. They tend to be sort of minimalist in terms of padding/support, so if that is not your thing, you may not like this brand, but I am delighted with them. I also got tons of compliments on the looks!

Super comfortable and wearable with most casual styles. I just got these and wore them all day, walking up and down hills. Might be my new favorite pair of shoes!

I love, love, love these booties! They are feather light-weight and super soft and comfy. Many leather boots are heavy and clunky but these are light weight so they would even pack well for travel. The soft, comfortable soles make my feet happy! They are also super cute. They go well with leggings and slim jeans; probably any jeans. I'm going to look into other styles made by this company. I wear a 5.5-6 and the size 5.5-6 fits perfectly.

When I ordered this item, I thought it was leather/suede. It is actually some sort of synthetic material. Not for me. Fit is good, though a little wide.

I have a wide foot, and these were actually GREAT width wise- the man-made material is very stretchy. They felt like little foam booties on my feet, with a slightly too stiff arch. I felt like over time they'd actually be uncomfortable in the arch area. Worth a try if you're looking for a Vegan boot, as I think these are, but I'll be sticking to the more supportive feeling of leather.

I love these shoes! They are so very comfortable and I love the arch support. I have no arch problems at all, and think I have high arches, so maybe the boots are more comfortable to me for that reason. Plus, I adore the fact that they are vegan. Thanks for making vegan shoes, Arcopedico. I wish they were more affordable, but great vegan shoes are hard to find and I really needed these. Did I say that these are super comfortable?!

Great shoes! Incredibly comfortable and good looking. I live in NYC and wear these all over town, day and night. I have half a mind to go and buy a second pair, in case they stop making them.

Definate arch support, but no padding in the toe bed. They look nice, but they don't look like what they cost. They aren't like other arcopedico shoes and boots. I am returning these brown suede ones but maybe the other colors look better.

They are so very comfortable in a light rain. I don't know how they will survive snow and heavy rain.

I really wanted to love these boots but they are just too big. I sent back the first pair (thank you Zappos!) and reordered the smallest size and yet they are still too big. Too bad because they have great arch support, are waterproof and are really cute.

I wanted to love this boot. I first put it on and thought that it was great. If you have foot problems, there's plenty of room in the toe, etc. Very comfy there. I have a high arch, but this was such high arch support that it stuck into my foot. Going back, but very sad....
